Running to Stand Still (series 1, episode 6)

Mistake Visible crew/equipment: When Susan is following Paul in the car she borrowed, we can see the reflection of a crew member on the right hand side of the window.

Mistake Continuity: In one shot during the poker scene the baby moniter changes position to the other side of Lynette then back again.

Mistake Continuity: When Lynette is talking to Jordana the items on the table keep changing position in between shots.

Anything You Can Do (series 1, episode 7)

Mistake Continuity: When Bree sees the presents that Rex has bought for the children, she walks up to the car. As she stops walking you can see her hair particularly on her left side is being blown gently by the wind and continues to be blown through most of the shot. In the following shot her hair is now sitting perfectly without any wind blowing it.

Guilty (series 1, episode 8)

Mistake Continuity: As Susan tries to get the dog to help the second time you can see the towel Susan tried to use to get the dog to help her. The shot then shows Susan and the towel has disappeared. After a quick shot of the dog it cuts back to Susan and the towel has reappeared.

Mistake Deliberate "mistake": When Susan falls through the floorboards of Mike's house she uses the nearby towel to try and get the dog Bongo to help her. If you watch at the different angles the position of the dog keeps changing. When it shows Susan from behind the dog is almost right next to her face and stepping on the towel. In the shots from in front of Susan the dog is nowhere near the towel or even in the shot. This mistake looks more deliberate as the front on shots of Susan, the dog would likely have blocked her face from the camera.

Suspicious Minds (series 1, episode 9)

Mistake Plot hole: Mrs. Huber died at the end of the previous episode, "Guilty", so why is she signed up (with dress reserved and everything) for a fundraising idea Gabrielle only had in the teaser of this episode?

Mistake Plot hole: Several days must have passed between the teaser of this episode and the rest of it, since Gabrielle has had time to make up (very professional-looking) cards and posters, gotten several dozen volunteers and reserved dresses for many of them, yet Paul has only just gotten around to disposing of Mrs. Huber's body and trying to wash the blood out of his shirt. Even if we assume the teaser takes place right after the end of the last episode (when Paul murdered her), that's still several days of keeping a rotting corpse and enough evidence to put him away for life around his house.

Come Back to Me (series 1, episode 10)

Mistake Audio problem: When Susan suspects someone might be in the house, the seduction music she has put on for Mike is drowned out by the score. When she accidentally hits Mike across the face, the score stops, but the music that was playing in the background has gone. The song in the background before now was music within the show, and it was loud enough to be heard around the house, so we should still be able to hear it.

Mistake Continuity: When Bree is about to leave the hospital she picks her bag up with her left hand to put it on her right shoulder but when the camera angle changes she's put the bag on her left shoulder with her right arm.

Every Day a Little Death (series 1, episode 12)

Mistake Continuity: Bree arrives home and is carrying a big package with her right hand and just one second later the package switched to the left and her mobile rings.

Your Fault (series 1, episode 13)

Mistake Audio problem: At the school dance, the students are all dancing at a rapid pace when the music playing is a slow song, indicative that the music was dubbed in later.

Love Is in the Air (a.k.a. What I Did for Love) (series 1, episode 14)

Mistake Continuity: When Bree Van De Kamp is sitting on the couch talking to her marriage counselor, as she is doing so she picks up her purse and puts it on her lap, crossing her hands over it. When the camera switches back to her a second later the purse is back on the couch beside her in the exact position it was in before she picked it up.

Mistake Factual error: Lynette's neighbor tells her that the pot Lynette's sons gave her is really hers, the neighbor's, and she bought it in Costa Rica. She turns the pot over to show Lynette that the price is marked on the bottom, with a number followed by the letter p. One supposes that the p might stand for peso, except that the currency of Costa Rica is the colon, which consists of 100 centavos. No p in sight.

Mistake Continuity: When Lynette is chasing her neighbor out of her boys' bedroom and has a pillow in each hand, one is spotted and one is light blue. She raises the light blue pillow to throw at the neighbor. When the camera switches to the bedroom door, its the spotted pillow that hits the door behind the fleeing neighbor.

Mistake Continuity: Season 1, episode 14 "Love Is In The Air", Bree Van De Kamp is sitting in a chair talking to her husband Rex while knitting. In one shot, after the camera goes back to her, the object that she is knitting disappears, then re-appears when the camera comes back to her later in the scene.

Mistake Continuity: When Susan's reading her Valentine's card, in the shot over her shoulder she closes it. The angle then changes so we can see one of the other housewives approaching - her card's now open and she shuts it again.

Impossible (series 1, episode 15)

Mistake Continuity: Episode 15- When the housewives are sitting on the porch discussing Mike Delfino, Teri Hatcher's green shirt keeps changing positions in the shot. It goes from down around shoulders to close to her neck and back.

One Wonderful Day (series 1, episode 23)

Mistake Factual error: This is for one episode 1-23. In the beginning, there is a shot of a calendar for March 1990. It shows March 1st being a Wednesday. March 1, 1990 was a Thursday.

All of series 2 (series 2)

Mistake Continuity: In the episode where Gabby kisses Tom Scavo and, in return, Lynette kisses Carlos, Gabby is making a smoothie. When she's drinking it (as Lynette and Carlos are making out), it keeps switching from her left hand to her right hand, depending on which angle the camera is facing her.
