Saga of a Star World (1) (series 1)

Screen shot Continuity: In the second shot showing the fleet of Battlestars (from the port side and slightly behind), the closest ship has a blank nameplate on the front of the landing bay where all the ships normally have their names displayed. In the next shot, a close-up shows this plate now says, "Atlantia". Submitted by John W Rosa

Screen shot Other: In the second shot showing the fleet of Battlestars (from the port side and slightly behind), the closest ship has an odd reflection which forms a "pillar of light" radiating down from near the rear of the landing bay. It is an effects error, perhaps created while trying to hide the rod that holds the ship up from below. Submitted by John W Rosa

Screen shot Continuity: When Apollo asks Zac, "How many of them can you make out?", Zac looks at his targeting screen and replies, "Four." However, the screen displays five. The ensuing battle proves Zach is correct with four, meaning the film makers inserted an incorrect targeting screen graphic. Submitted by John W Rosa

Screen shot Continuity: When the Warriors are playing cards, Starbuck places his cards on the table near the gold coins, saying "A perfect pyramid. Unless there's a better hand, the pot is mine". His right fingers tap on the table and his cigar is in the ashtray. When the shot cuts, his hand is suddenly up by his mouth, holding the cigar, and the cards and coins have vanished. Screen shot Continuity: When Baltar turns to face the two setting suns, we see the lower one at the left has what could be a boat in its reflection on the water. The higher one on the right is over a mountainous area on the horizon. The next shot is of Baltar in close-up, then the next returns to the horizon to show us Baltar's view, which shows just ONE setting sun. The one on the left has vanished though there is room enough for it to have been seen in this shot. Submitted by John W Rosa

Screen shot Continuity: When Athena is about to undress, Starbuck surprises her and she conceals herself behind a locker door. The strap around her shoulder changes position between shots. Submitted by Mortug

View image

Screen shot Continuity: When Baltar is brought before the Imperious Leader, the wider overhead shots show his arms are straight down along his sides, but closer shots show his hands fiddling together in front of him or somewhere between that and almost back at his sides. Submitted by John W Rosa

Screen shot Continuity: While driving the Land Ram, looking for a Tylium deposit, and Apollo says "We can't stay in one place for too long", Boxey's arm goes from leaning on Apollo's shoulder to not leaning on his shoulder between the shots. Submitted by Mortug

View image

Screen shot Continuity: As the Vipers join in the defense of the Galactica, an exterior shot zooms in on the side of Galactica, showing that her name is missing from the front side of her port landing bay. Submitted by John W Rosa

The Lost Planet of the Gods (1) (series 1)

View image

Screen shot Continuity: When Boxey plays with Muffit, a red chair on the right sits away from the wall and turned slightly. Boxey and Muffit leave the room as Serina and Apollo argue, and when Apollo walks toward the chair, it is not turned as much and is much closer to the wall. Submitted by John W Rosa

The Lost Planet of the Gods (2) (series 1)

Screen shot Revealing: When Galactica arrives at what they believe is the planet Kobol, Adama, Apollo and Serina all go down to the surface. As they approach the ruins in several shots from behind, the three are obviously, almost laughably, replaced by stand-ins. Adama's white hair is enormous, almost helmet-like, and Apollo's is nearly as bad. Serina's famously long, rump-length hair is suddenly much shorter and she has no gun on her right hip. When the three are seen entering a shot from the left, the normal actors are back, including Jane Seymour's abundant brown hair and her gun. The stand-ins appear again later, in all the exterior shots obviously filmed in Egypt. The normal stars were filmed on studio sets. Submitted by John W Rosa

The Lost Warrior (series 1)

Screen shot Continuity: When Marcos places his bet, he has a gold mug to his right on the table. When the shot reverses to show Lacerta, the mug has vanished. The mistake alternates, repeating itself throughout the entire scene. Submitted by John W Rosa

View image

Screen shot Continuity: When Bootes throws a tantrum at the bar, he knocks two hats off the bar and his mug falls over directly in front of him. When the shot changes to an angle from behind him, his mug is standing and one of the hats is back on the bar. Submitted by John W Rosa

The Long Patrol (series 1)

View image

Screen shot Continuity: When Apollo asks Adama if he was ever like Boxey, Adama replies "Worse". The two characters are standing well apart, each leaning forward with both hands on a railing, shown from the front. When the shot changes to show them from behind, Adama has his arm around Apollo, hand on his shoulder. Submitted by John W Rosa

Screen shot Continuity: Starbuck and Cassiopeia stand looking out the window. In the wide shot, her back is to his front, his arms around her waist. In the close-up shot, they are suddenly face-to-face, her hand toying with the trim on his cloak. Submitted by John W Rosa

Screen shot Revealing: When Apollo fires at Robber, his shot hits a pillar, knocking a chunk of it off. As he runs behind the pillar, a circular device dangles from a wire in the damaged part of the pillar- the remnants of the effects charge that was used to cause the damage. Submitted by John W Rosa

The Gun on Ice Planet Zero (1) (series 1)

View image

Screen shot Revealing: When the 'snow ram' loses power and stops, the crew jumps out to see what has happened. The snow surface behind the ram is undisturbed and trackless, as if the ram has been stationary long enough for its tracks to be erased. This is because it is actually on a set and has not moved at all. Submitted by John W Rosa

The Gun on Ice Planet Zero (2) (series 1)

View image

Screen shot Revealing: During the second wave of the Cylon attack, Galactica is shown from her port side, and her name is missing from the side of the landing pod. Submitted by John W Rosa

View image

Screen shot Revealing: When Adama orders the fleet to "Flank speed ahead", the next exterior shows Galactica, seemingly turning to port, but looking at the landing pod shows the image is a reversed shot of the ship turning to starboard, evidenced by the ship's name being backwards. Submitted by John W Rosa

The Young Lords (series 1)

View image

Screen shot Revealing: In the opening scene, the canopy of Starbuck's viper is not fully lowered while in space flight, leaving a wide gap under its starboard side that would have allowed his air supply to be instantly sucked out into the vacuum of space. Submitted by John W Rosa
