Joey (2004) - 47 mistakes in entire show

Visible crew/equipment: In episode 2-17 (Joey and The Big Move), when Joey is leaving his old house, you can see a part of boom mike at the top of the screen (over the doors).

Continuity: In Series 1 Episode 14 "Joey and The Premiere", Joey is talking to Brody. He has a cup in his left hand, then when the shot changes, it's in his right.

Continuity: In episode 2-4: "Joey and the Stuntman," Joey visits Abby at her house. When she first sits down, her arms are open and her low-cut blue blouse can be seen beneath her green jacket. There is a shot of Joey from behind her, during which her right arm is on her leg. Immediately after that, the shot switches to the front, and her arms are crossed across her chest and the green jacked is pulled tight up to her neck.

Continuity: In Series 1 Episode 14 "Joey and The Premiere", Joey is speaking to Lauren. In between shots when we see Lauren, the items on her desk change position.

Continuity: Joey states he has never lived alone. Yet in "Friends," he had his own appartment.

Other: In season one when Alex got divorced, Joey and Gina talked about how Gina got divorced from Michael's father while she was still in high school. In season two, we learn that Jimmy is Michael's father. Joey didn't even know that they were together, he certainly would have known if they were married.

Plot hole: In the episode where Joey tells Jimmy that Michael is his son and they cut of some of his hair to do a DNA test, Gina tells Michael that he is missing some hair on the back of his head. In the next shot the angle changes, we can now see the back of Michael's head, and he's not missing any hair.

Continuity: Episode 1-19 Joey and the Fancy Sister. When they are looking at the engagement ring under the black light, the ring goes from Joey's hand to Gina's instantly between shots.

Revealing: At the start when Joey is in the taxi at Dallas, The outside changes depending on the angle.

Continuity: As Gina walks around the pool, you can see the soles of her feet are dirty, she then lies down next to Joey, and they are clean.

Continuity: In the scene where Joey and Gina are on Joey's new apartment terrace, looking at the Hollywood sign, the strings dangling from Gina's chest keep going into her sweater and dangling out of it.

Continuity: Just before Michael enters the apartment, Joey zips up Gina's top. However, in the next shot it is unzipped again.

Continuity: In the scene after the introduction, when Joey and Gina are at the airport, Joey's bag strap at one point is under his collar, then when the shot changes his collar is under his strap. This mistake keeps happening during this whole airport scene.

Continuity: When Joey, Gina and Micheal are at the studio. The amount of blood on Joeys shirt changes between shots.

Continuity: When Joey and Gina are waiting in the airport for Joey's bags, Gina's pink top goes from almost entirely unzipped to being zipped up in an instant.

Continuity: In the scene where Michael asks Joey and Gina to leave the bar, when Joey has gotten up and left and Gina is looking in the mirror, her pink handbag is in her right hand. Yet when the shot changes it is suddenly is in her left hand.

Continuity: During the scene when Joey and Michael go to Gina's after she got them kicked out of the bar, the cork in the wine bottle appears and disappears from the bottle.

Continuity: When Michael and Joey are Gina's house, when Gina is talking to Michael about changing her ways, the shoulder of her top keeps changing positions on her shoulder.

Continuity: At Joey's party, when Alex and Michael are talking about Seth's girlfriend, the food on Alex's plate keeps changing places in between shots.

Continuity: When Joey and Howard are clearing up after the party, we see that Joey throws all the rubbish he has in his hands in the bin, yet when the shot changes he has more to throw in the bin.

Continuity: Just after the opening credits, when Joey runs out to see Jake, Jake has one hand out in one shot and then puts the basketball in both hands. When the shot changes, his hand is out again and then he puts the basketball in both hands again.

Continuity: When Michael is talking about Seth's girlfriend, Joey has a board of cheese and grapes out. When the shot changes, the grapes have disappeared off the board.

Revealing: When Joey is climbing the wall, you can see that the piece of wall he breaks has a break line in it.

Continuity: When Joey goes to his agent, we see her putting sugar in her drink and stirring it twice, and also the red stirrer keeps disappearing and reappearing from her drink.

Continuity: When Joey is trying to read the book for book club, we see he kneels down on both knees to look at a snail, then when the shot changes, we can see that he is only kneeling down on one knee.

Continuity: Just after the opening credits, when Gina closes the magazine and stands up from the couch, a glass appears in her hand.

Continuity: When Joey goes to see his agent about him being in all the plays, at one point we see her writing something down, then when the shot changes she instantly is not writing and has her hands on her glasses.

Continuity: During the end credits, the amount of milk in Michael's glass keeps changing.

Continuity: When Joey goes to visit the sick actor in bed, the tissues in the actor's hands and on the sheets disappear between shots.

Continuity: When Joey and Michael are talking to Roger, and everyone is drinking shots, when Joey and Michael put their glasses back down, we see that they're both on the tray, yet in a later shot, we see one of them is not on the tray any more, but further along the table.

Continuity: When Michael is happy about Gina dating, we see Joey celebrate as well, he throws his hands in the air and when they come back down, they are apart, then when the shot changes, they are interlocked. Then when Joey points at Michael, he does it with his left hand and when the shot changes it is with his right hand.

Continuity: When Joey goes to see his agent, we can see the paper pad and the pen move in between shots.

Continuity: When Michael, Joey and Gina are talking just after the opening credits, we can see that the writing on Michael's laptop changes between shots.

Continuity: When Joey is making the omelette for Donna, we see Joey breaking the eggs and then he puts the bluebowl on the table. When the shot changes, the bowl is no longer there, then comes back again in a later shot.

Continuity: When Michael tries out baseball, we see him holding the baseball bat, then when the shot changes, after Joey asks him for another quarter he is no longer holding it.

Continuity: Right near the end of the episode when Donna leaves, and Joey sits on the couch, we see there is only one magazine on the couch, away from the cushion, yet in the final shot of this scene, there are two magazines under the cushion.

Continuity: When Joey goes into his audition, we can see that the bag is no longer on the couch, if you look through the gap in the door.

Continuity: In the scene were Michael is running lines with Joey, the position of Michael's book keeps changing position on the foot stool in between shots.

Continuity: In the scene were Gina is talking to Joey about his audition, we see that when Joey puts the water down on the table, the red logo is facing the camera yet in the next shot, it is facing to the side.

Continuity: In the scene where Joey goes back to audition and meets Katie again, we see that she take off her bag and holds it in her other hand, then a few shots later the strap is over her shoulder.

Continuity: When Joey is going to his Deep Powder audition, when he meets Katie, throughout the entire scene, the piece of paper changes positions in her hand, in between shots.

Continuity: In the scene were Joey is talking to his agent on the phone, the number of bites in her apple changes between shots.

Continuity: Right at the beginning of the episode, when Gina gives Michael the plate of food, in between shots the food on the plate changes positions.

Continuity: When Joey is telling Michael and Gina that he has a problem, in one shot Gina is drinking from her drink with one hand, then when the shot changes she is holding it away with two hands.

Continuity: When Joey asks Alex to give him a second we see her put the script in her right hand, then when the shot changes, we see it's under her left arm.

Continuity: When Joey finishes shooting his scene for Powder Mountain, and Alex comes over to him, we see her hair is under the headphones, yet in later shots, it comes over the headphones and back under them.

Continuity: When Gina says she's lost a nail in the food, we see her show everyone she lost it on her right hand, yet in the next shot, she has them all back again.
