Little Britain (2003) - 10 corrections

starring Matt Lucas, David Walliams, Tom Baker, Anthony Head (add more)

Comments made in brackets are corrections from other visitors. As such, any aggressive/abusive corrections (and I get quite a few) written as if they're comments I've made myself will be ignored. To submit your own corrections for mistakes, just click the edit icon under an entry, then choose "correct entry". Some entries have "duplicated entry" after them - these are entries which were already listed on the main page, but were submitted again. I occasionally leave these online for a while, just in case they were moved in error, so don't worry about pointing them out to me.

Across whole show

Entry A lot of the sketches in the pilot episode were repeated or re-filmed throughout Series 1. [Things that can be seen simply by watching the show are not valid trivia.]
Entry In the sketch where Lou and Andy are buying a birthday card for Andy's brother Declan, Andy does his "I want that one." routine and points to a black card with what appears to be two stars on it. Yet when Lou points to a card and says "That one?" and Andy says "Yeah.", Lou's pointing to the white card below the black one. [Andy doesn't really care what card he points to. He isn't even looking.]
Entry If you notice that whenever Andy points at something that he wants ('I want that one.'), Lou always picks out the one miles away from it. [Andy never looks at the 'one' he points to, so Lou will know that and choose something different. Even if it doesn't make sense, it's also part of the joke.]
Entry In several sketches with Ray, when he plays his flute, the music doesn't match his finger movements. [This is done deliberatly, it's part of the gag.]
Entry When Lou takes Andy to the opera on his Birthday, it's exactly the same shot as when St John's ambulance help the man who had a heart attack, just with the different characters in the box. [Why is this a mistake? It's just the same theatre visited by different characters.]
Entry In the 'Only Gay in the Village' sketch, Myfanwy the barmaid is named after a director. [Seeing as Myfanwy is a very common Welsh name for a female, it is extremely unlikely that the name was used purely because it was shared by a director of the show.]

Season 1 Episode 8 (series 1)

Entry When the old woman is sitting in her flat, the opening credits of 'The Good Life' is on TV. However, the theme tune playing is totally different to the correct tune. They weren't allowed to use the real tune, but it's still a mistake. [The music used is a song called "Good Life" by the group Inner City. It is not a mistake, but rather an intentional joke.]
Entry When the man's phone goes off while he is playing the piano, there is a monophonic sounding text tone. That phone is a Nokia 6100, and the tone should have had a more polyphonic tone to it. [Polyphonic phones can still be used to download monophonic tones. My phone enables real sounding ringtones yet I still have my old monophonic tones.]

Season 2 Episode 1 (series 2)

Entry When Mr.Mann walks into the shop, tho shop owner quickly says he is just about to close for lunch, But if you look at the clock behind him it says 5:30. [Roy is simply trying to make Mr Mann leave. Knowing what Mr Mann is like, Roy is desperate for any reason to get him out the shop as quickly as possible, and he'll invent reasons if he has to.]

Season 3 Episode 1 (series 3)

Entry This is the only series of the show (including the radio show) that does NOT start with a Vicky Pollard sketch. [Things that can be seen simply by watching the episode are not valid trivia.]
