Continuity: When we first see the front of the house there is no wall. When we see Doug for the first time, outside the door is a wall.
Continuity: When Sarah is in the shower you can see in her shadow, creases from her swimsuit.
Continuity: When Carrie says that Doug's friends are there, her leg is straight. Camera cuts and now her leg is bent.
Revealing: When Doug races downstairs to see his TV, he puts his hand on the wall and it visibly moves when he does.
Fat City
Visible crew/equipment: When Doug opens the car door at the very start, a boom mic is reflected in the window.
Continuity: When Arthur is sitting down with his little black book, the way he holds it constantly changes.

Continuity: The door to the house is on a corner. However, in the interior shots, they have a window each side of the door.
Educating Doug
Revealing: When they first drive to their class, we see the street lights behind them. When Carrie pulls over to pick up Spence, she turns the steering wheel, but the lights in the back don't turn.
Continuity: In this episode, when Doug and Carrie are taking an adult literature class together, Doug comes down the stairs with his book in his hand, but when he sits on the couch he only has his book pillow and reading lamp, and runs back upstairs to get his book.
Supermarket Story
Continuity: In the episode when they are at the supermarket, Carrie and Arthur are talking about Carrie making a Thanksgiving meal, and as they are talking the frozen meals in Carrie's trolley change position between shots.
Fixer Upper
Continuity: When Spence realises he's eating peanuts, he steps behind the bench he was sitting on, but in the next shot he is in the front of the bench.
Continuity: After Spence suffers from his allergic reaction to peanuts he's seen lying on the couch. Doug then says something to the effect of having to scrape Spence's lunch off the fence, indicating that he threw up. But the allergic reaction took place before they got to the lunch.
