Continuity mistake: When Doug is checking the mail while telling Carrie about checking the food twice a week, the letter at the back of the pile is red. Camera changes and now it's a normal envelope. (00:05:30)

Continuity mistake: Arthur throws Doug's pumpkin out near the start and there is no pumpkin on the floor in the kitchen. A few minutes later in the scene, there is pumpkin on the floor in the kitchen. (00:03:40)

Visible crew/equipment: When Doug starts to walk over to the flight attendant, a second camera slides into the shot for a few seconds to the right of the screen. (00:12:36)

Question: Has Carrie's sister, Sara, ever been mentioned again after the first few episodes, and why was she taken off?

Answer: Sara hasn't been mentioned in later episodes, and it suggested in later episodes that she never existed, and that Carrie is an only child. Kevin James stated that the producers couldn't think of an good plots to use with Sara, so they left her out.
