Continuity: When Max is holding Lydia over the balcony, one wide shot shows that Lydia is hanging at an angle because Max is only holding one leg, but every other shot shows that Lydia's hair and head point straight down.

Trivia
Richard Gunn's character was nicknamed 'Skectchy" but is 'real' name was Alvin Simon Theodore- the same as the three cartoon chipmunks. Also Normal's name on the show was Reagan Ronald after former president Ronald Reagan. See more...
Pilot (1) (season 1, episode 1)
Factual error: One of the bases for this show is the idea of computers and electronics being wiped out by an EM Pulse. With the amount of digital communications equipment still operational, it is inconceivable that the whole world system is inoperable, and rebooting of existing servers would have meant that the only information lost was that in transmission at the time of the pulse. A single pulse capable of erasing hard drives would have crushed everything between any two magnetic objects - i.e., parked cars would have slammed together regardless of how many pedestrians were standing between them.
Continuity: On Max's first run with Sketchy, she spots a police drone and swerves in traffic to avoid it. In the shot where she swerves, Sketchy should be right behind her but has disappeared.
Revealing: When Max is holding Lydia upside down from the window, in one shot of Max you can see the harness used to hold Lydia.
Pilot (2) (season 1, episode 2)
Continuity: At the end, Max goes to see Logan. She walks up to and leans on the same metal frame twice, once with the camera on her and once with it on Logan.
Continuity: In the hoverdrone footage, Logan has a large scrape on his left cheek. When Max finds him in the hospital, the scrape is on his right cheek and his left is clean.
Continuity: Herbal's hand switches from the right side of the collection basket to the left when he takes it from his friend and before he speaks to Normal.
Continuity: During their final conversation, shots on Max show that she is standing up straight but shots on Logan show Max in the background with her head tilted to her right.
Continuity: There are three shots of Bruno on the ground after Max knocks him down in the motel room. In the first, his tie is over his jacket, in the second shot it's under, and in the third the tie is pushed off farther to the right than it was before.
Continuity: At the motel, Max crosses her arms while she listens to Bruno's compliments. Her right hand is under her left arm, but switches to over her left arm just before she steps forward.
Plot hole: In the hoverdrone footage, Peter goes down suddenly during the gunfight, apparently from a wound to either the head or torso. However, there is no wound or blood on him and even his bulletproof vest has no marks except for the normal studs. If he had been hit in an extremity he would not have limply collapsed instantly. Sonrisa's goons are using automatic weapons that should have no trouble hitting him many times from that range of only a few meters.
Continuity: The strand of hair on the left side of Max's face changes position when Sonrisa tells her, "You'd better hope you're as smart as you think you are," at the end of their meeting.
Flushed (season 1, episode 4)
Revealing: When Logan goes looking for Max at Jam Pony, as he starts talking to Normal there is a woman in a blue jacket with a black-and-yellow bike helmet walking behind him. She travels past the group and can be seen heading for the lockers behind OC and Sketchy. After Normal says, "I can't help you," the same woman walks behind Logan again, going the same direction.
Continuity: Max is wearing a baseball cap when she is arrested, and is still wearing it when she is waiting to be processed at Langford. She isn't wearing it or carrying it while they take her picture, log her belongings, and lock her down. In the prison yard, however, she manifests it in her empty right hand to give it to Break.
Factual error: Max breaks into the hospital dispensary by shoving a knife into the gap between the jamb and the door itself, which forces the curved latch tongue back into the mechanism and allows her to open the door. However, she opens the door outward. The curve of the latch tongue always faces inward, the way the door swings, and there is no way Max could hit this to open the door with a straight thrust as shown.
Continuity: When Kendra bribes Walter, the establishing shot shows his arm on top of the car door with his hand inside but the next shot shows his hand on top of the door.
C.R.E.A.M. (season 1, episode 5)
Continuity: After he explains his situation, Sketchy looks at Cindy to his right when she asks how much he owes the gangsters. For his closeup when he answers, he's facing Herbal on his left.
Continuity: As Rafe's henchman gets "upset" with Sketchy, the cardboard underneath Sketchy switches from vertical print to horizontal print.
Continuity: Max briefly spots Walter on her way to pick up the file for Logan. For this one shot, he is much closer to the fence than in the previous or next.
Continuity: Original Cindy's strap constantly switches from running across her chest to running down her right side during her conversation with Herbal and Max in the alley, but her hands never leave her hips.
Continuity: As Max examines Alina's photos in the beginning, she twists one vertically. In the next shot from below, all the pictures are horizontal again.
Continuity: During his meeting with Sketchy in the alley, Rafe buttons his jacket twice: once when explaining that he doesn't get upset and once after Sketchy makes his offer of free labor.
Continuity: When Max leaves Logan to tell Alina about her father, she is wearing long pants and a denim jacket. On the ride over, she's back in her typical Jam Pony wear: fleece jacket and short pants (probably stock footage). When she gets to Alina's she's back in denim.
Continuity: At the beginning of the episode, Logan hands Max a stack of Alina's photos including a filmstrip longer than the other photos. The strip switches from poking out the left side to poking out the right when Max says, "It's so depressing," then jumps from buried in the stack to the bottom position.
Continuity: While they are discussing the housekeeper's possible involvement in Herrero's disappearance, Max's arms jump from crossed to at her sides after a very quick cut to Logan, then back again a little later.
411 on the DL (season 1, episode 6)
Continuity: At the end of the impromptu job interview, there is a flat package partially covering a magazine on the right side of Normal's desk. It's gone as Zack walks away.
Continuity: When Zack first approaches Normal a package materializes on the left side of Normal's desk.
Continuity: When Max shows Logan the classified ad, he is holding the newspaper only with his right hand. Cut to Max and the other side of the paper is also raised.
Prodigy (season 1, episode 7)
Plot hole: Darius is fooled by Max's life size shadow walking on the projection screen into believing she is actually there. There must be a projector focused on the screen centered in the room to project on the flat surface without distortion, either in the small room behind Darius or hanging from the ceiling. If it was in the small room, Darius' shadow would appear on the screen as he was standing in the middle of the room, and Max's ruse wouldn't work because she would be behind Darius and projecting a much larger shadow. If the projector was on the ceiling, there is no way Max's shadow could walk so nonchalantly onscreen. - she'd have to be suspended just to show up on it. Either way, it would be impossible to create a life size shadow as shown here without standing between Darius and the screen.
Continuity: Lydecker's grip on his military ID changes as he approaches the soldier interrogating Darius.
Continuity: In freefall, Max reaches for Logan with her right hand but catches him with her left.
Revealing: When Max knocks Darius down in the projection theater, he lands against the door. The entire door and frame shake with the force, but he barely touches it.
Continuity: When Logan approaches the police barricade someone points a rifle at him in the foreground, but when Sung clears him the nearest guard is too far away to do this.
Continuity: When Tanaka shows the picture of Jude as a newborn, the person seated nearest to Max is a blonde woman in a black suit. When Jude goes to play the piano, there is a man in a white lab coat sitting there. Max is sitting on the aisle and if someone came to switch seats they would pass in front of her; no one did. The man sticks around for a few shots, but when Lydecker sits next to Max the blonde woman is back.
Continuity: As Tanaka is thrown off the building a person in a bright red shirt walks behind Logan the same direction twice.
Continuity: As Kendra is telling Max about her temp work at the beginning, Kendra jumps from shuffling some papers to clasping her hands just as she tells Max she's getting paid.
Cold Comfort (season 1, episode 8)
Continuity: When Sanders pulls a gun out of the freezer we can see that the shelf is empty except for the ice trays. Seconds later when Lydecker takes the gun, there are small bottles of some kind there. They weren't among the stuff on top of the freezer that Sanders knocked off, either, so they didn't fall in.
Continuity: During his conversation with Herbal at the beginning, Normal switches from hands at sides to hands raised to his chest as he explains the importance of June 12.
Continuity: While researching Lydecker, Logan first pulls up a box that says Lydecker's wife was killed in 1998; shortly afterwards, Logan says that she was killed in 1995.
Blah Blah Woof Woof (season 1, episode 9)
Factual error: Max transfuses Logan from the inside of her elbow. The doctor pulls the needle out but doesn't bandage it. Neither Max or the cops are applying pressure as she is arrested. As any unlucky blood donor knows, without pressure and a bandage blood would be flowing copiously down her arm.
Continuity: There's a clock on the wall behind Sung during his interrogation of Normal. The second hand is just striking the 9 o'clock position when Sung asks Normal if he is "not a man to be taken lightly". It's still at that mark when the camera comes back to Sung almost fifteen seconds later. Later when Sung tells Normal about the parking tickets, the second hand skips from 12 o'clock to the 5.
Continuity: Zack's jacket changes from over his chest to wide open after Max pins him and stands up.
Continuity: As Logan discovers Max's checkmate early on he switches from left hand high to right hand high.
Continuity: Lydecker menaces the corrupt cop by pointing the gun straight at his chin, but in the closeup he's moved closer and the gun is angled toward the cop's left cheek. Lydecker is back farther in the next shot.
Out (season 1, episode 10)
Continuity: At the bar, Max's arms shift on the counter as OC walks up to her and Sketchy.
Continuity: Sung's tie jumps across his chest as he sags in the wake of the first round of electrical torture.
Red (season 1, episode 11)
Continuity: At the witness protection safehouse the popcorn on the marshals' table jumps from the center to a corner. It's back in the center when Max breaks down the door.
Continuity: If you watch Max's witness grab in slow motion, Bruno on the couch changes from lying head toward the door to crouching facing the other direction while the bike is spinning.
Art Attack (season 1, episode 12)
Continuity: The captain enters his quarters and leaves the door open behind him. When Max grabs the painting to leave the door is closed. She wouldn't have shut it because she was escaping immediately.
Revealing: Max jumps onto the dumpster behind the office and up to a window. Both times she is replaced by someone with a very different hairstyle: short instead of merely held up (slowmo helps).
Continuity: When Sketchy goes to the art thief for a pickup at the beginning, the thief passes the painting from his left hand to his right twice after he opens the door.
Continuity: There are a couple of times during Max and Logan's ride to the wedding that a shot on Logan shows Max's seat belt not touching her shoulder but the following shot on Max shows it flat against her.
Continuity: After the wheelchair basketball game, Logan rolls up to Max. In one shot there's a dark car behind her, but in the next it's yellow.
Rising (season 1, episode 13)
Other: In the English DVD subtitles Sebastian says, "In direct combat, they're is no warrior equal to the Red Series." "They're" should be "there".
Female Trouble (season 1, episode 15)
Deliberate "mistake": Towards the end, Logan is thinking about killing himself and the water drips from the ceiling. He is on the top floor, so nobody would be living above him.
All of series 2 (season 2)
Factual error: A major plot point for this season is that Max's genome has no "junk DNA." Instead, it's all coded for something. A standard human genome has about 95% junk DNA, with the remaining 5% coded for building proteins. However, research from the 1980s and 1990s indicates that junk DNA isn't junk at all, but rather explicit instructions to the cell on when and how to read the protein-building instructions. If Max doesn't have that, then her cells would never be able to build proteins and she would never have been born. Even though Max has extra coded DNA for an unknown purpose, there is still no way she could live without "junk DNA".
Borrowed Time (season 2, episode 12)
Continuity: When Gordie is crushing cans, the can changes to one of a different colour between shots.
