Continuity: In the second season episode entitled "Yes, Monsignor", Alan is sitting at the kitchen table talking to his son Jake about a math test that Jake got a bad grade on. At the beginning of the scene Alan holds the open test in his left hand. When the camera switches back to him a second later the test is now in his right hand. Finally at the end of the scene the test is back in his left hand but is now folded.

Revealing: (Season 3: Episode 1 - "Weekend in Bangkok with Two Olympic Gymnasts"): When Allan falls off the ladder you can see the ladder has been set up so it will fall back safely. As the ladder goes back towards the balcony rail, it hits the railing and bounces up. The bottom of the ladder, which is unseen, seems to be planted as it does not move during this. When Allan was climbing up and down the ladder, it wasn't secured with anything at the bottom. Thus the reason for him falling off the ladder.
Audio problem: In the episode with Enrique Iglesias, Charlie comes out to the deck to get his girlfriend and asks, "Isn't there something you could sand?" His lips say, "Isn't there something you could saw?"

Revealing: When Rose scares Charlie, he bangs into the wall and the entire wall moves.

Continuity: Near the end of the episode Alan says, "Well the point is you brought Jake into the relationship too soon." Just before he says that Judith's left arm is laying over her right and in the next shot her right is over her left.
Other: During this whole episode, Jake calls his mothers boyfriend Greg. But in the 4. season when Judith is marrying the guy, he is called Herb. We know that it is not two different persons because both persons last name is Melneck, and they are both Jake's pediatrician.
Continuity: When Charlie and Jake walk in on Judith and Alan kissing, Charlie says, "C'mon lets go boat shopping" to Jake. As they leave Charlie shuts the door twice.

A few shots later he is seen placing it again except this time on the right side of the plate. Then just as Berta exits the kitchen, Charlie's mug has now switched sides again, being on the left side of the plate.
Last Chance to See Those Tattoos (season 2, episode 11)
Continuity: When Alan and Charlie are watching Judith take off her clothes on the monitor screen, Alan takes the newspaper he has in his right hand and puts it in his left hand to turn the monitor off. The next shot shows Charlie walking into the kitchen and Alan looks at him but now the paper is back in his right hand.
Can You Eat Human Flesh With Wooden Teeth? (season 2, episode 16)
Continuity: When Charlie picks up Jake's shoe in the beginning it is facing up, when Jake takes it from Charlie's hand it turns itself upside down.
Revealing: When driving back after leaving Jake in the rain, the rain that settles on the bonnet of the car starts to pool. On a moving car this doesn't happen. Therefore you can tell the car wasn't moving.
A Sympathetic Crotch to Cry On (season 2, episode 21)
Factual error: Three times during the episode, when Jake is playing his DS, one of the characters plugs in the headphones. However, the cable is inserted into the socket for the charger on the top of the DS, instead of the headphone socket, which is located on the bottom.
Your Dismissive Attitude Toward Boobs (season 3, episode 4)
Continuity: In the kitchen, Charlie places his mug down on a blue place mat and as the shot changes the cup is off the mat.
Continuity: When Charlie opens the refrigerator when talking to Alan, he is holding a cup and the position he is holding it changes from when he opens and shuts the refrigerator door.
Continuity: When Charlie, Alan and Jake are arguing about Alan having overstayed his welcome, Jake's hands constantly change place.

Continuity: When Jake is asking Charlie for advice on what to do, because his girlfriend dumped him, Alan's hands keep changing place.

Continuity: What Isabella is doing with her hands at the start keeps changing.
Continuity: When Isabella is in the kitchen at the start, Jake has a bowl of cereal. Jake is then sent to his room and Charlie comes in. When Isabella and Charlie finish kissing, Jake's bowl of cereal has disappeared.

Continuity: When Alan comes downstairs after asking Charlie's date to move her car, the top of set can be seen when he walks down the stairs.

Continuity: When Jake and Alan are in the car, They are talking about having Chinese food for Christmas dinner. When doing so, the car behind them changes from a black 4x4 to a red sports car. Then back. There is not enough time between shots for the cars to maneuver.

Continuity: Near the end, when Kandi is saying that Aland sounds like a loser, her hand is by her head. Camera cuts and it's now in her lap.

Continuity: Alan says he hasn't been able to eat bananas since he was in high school. But in season 2 he does eat a banana more than once.
A Live Woman of Proven Fertility (season 4, episode 5)
Revealing: When driving back from dropping Herb off at Judith's, there is a purple tinge to Alan's face from projecting the background.
I Merely Slept With a Commie (season 4, episode 17)
Continuity: When Charlie is talking to his mum after meeting her new people, Evelyn's hand constantly changes position.
Pie Hole, Herb (season 6, episode 2)
Continuity: Right on 21 minutes into the episode, when Charlie and Jake are in the car, Alan comes in with food and coffee, but doesn't close the car door. After he's handed Charlie the food and coffee, they change camera angle and you can see the door is closed.
A Jock Strap in Hell (season 6, episode 5)
Continuity: Ms. Pasternacker was Jake's 4th grade teacher in earlier seasons, however in this episode, everyone says she was his 5th grade teacher.
