Revealing: When Xena comes in and checks on Gabrielle, a possessed Gabrielle is hanging from the ceiling naked. In the long shot you can see her nude suit and the wires holding her up.

Other: In Season 2 "Ten Little Warlords," Ares tells Xena that without a sitting God of War, peaceful people can't control their anger. Yet during the whole time in Season 6 that Ares is mortal, peaceful people can control their anger. Furthermore, in Season 6, Ares tells Xena that without the God of War the Goddess of Love becomes unbalanced. Yet in Season 2 there is no mention of this.

Character mistake: Gabrielle is comforting an Amazon who states that she's worse than Joxer when facing the dryads. How does she know about Joxer since that occurred over 25 years ago?

Continuity: This episode is supposed to take place sometime back in the third season. Well in the third season Xena has her regular chakram, not the yin yang one. Yet when Joxer and Xena are talking in the forest you see the yin yang chakram on her belt.
