Purity - S5-E6

Continuity mistake: In the scene where Gabrielle and Joxer are lining up the rockets, Gabrielle takes on a whole bunch of troops and she has armlets on matching her chin outfit, but when it cuts to Renee's stunt double, she doesn't have on the armlets. And it is like that throughout the whole scene.

In Sickness and In Hell - S4-E4

Continuity mistake: Right after Xena turns Joxer's hat around, she is standing there with her arms, crossed. Angle changes, and her arms are to her side, then she crosses her arms again. Happens again several times during this scenes when the shots change, her arms cross and uncross again. (00:02:50)

Other mistake: Across the show Xena's past relationship with Ares is unclear. In "The Reckoning" (Season 1), Xena says to Ares that she used to wonder what he looked like - implying that they had never met face to face. Yet in "Succession" (Season 5), Xena asks Ares if this portal world is just to watch his new girlfriend fight and he responds, saying it is to watch his old girlfriend (Xena) fight. If they had been in a relationship, surely a: Xena and Ares would have met face to face and therefore b: Xena would know what Ares looked like.

The Reckoning - S1-E6

Factual error: The error begins in this episode and continues in Season 1 Episode 12: "Beware Greeks Bearing Gifts." Near the end of The Reckoning, Xena and Ares are talking about making Xena "the architect of a new world". Xena says that she'll need an army. Ares tells her she can have anyone she wants. She mentions Achilles and Agamemnon in her list of warriors and then follows up by saying "they're long gone." In "Beware Greeks Bearing Gifts," the Trojan War is going on. This is historically inaccurate as Achilles was killed in the Trojan War and Agamemnon was the leader of the Greek forces in the Trojan War and wasn't killed until after it was over. Continuity mistake: In the episode 'The Xena Scrolls,' the chakram that is buried in Ares' tomb is the chakram from the first four seasons. However, as the chakram is neutralised in the episode 'Chakram' and is given back to the cloned Xena in the episode 'The Clones', how could the chakram be neutralised before Xena dies, be separated in the 1940s when they discover the Chakram in Ares' tomb and then be neutralised in the episode with the clones?

The God You Know - S6-E12

Other mistake: In Season 2 "Ten Little Warlords," Ares tells Xena that without a sitting God of War, peaceful people can't control their anger. Yet during the whole time in Season 6 that Ares is mortal, peaceful people can control their anger. Furthermore, in Season 6, Ares tells Xena that without the God of War the Goddess of Love becomes unbalanced. Yet in Season 2 there is no mention of this.

Paradise Found - S4-E13

Continuity mistake: As Gabby is walking and talking with Aiden, from the back, you see her arms slightly bent in front of her, probably with her hands held. From the front, her arms are straight down at her sides. (00:12:00)

Jack's Revenge

The Convert - S4-E18

Continuity mistake: Najara smears blood all over her left cheek during her fight with Xena, then a bit later, the blood smear is smaller, and more on her lower cheek, rather than all over it. (00:40:25 - 00:41:15)

Jack's Revenge

The Quest (2) - S2-E13

Trivia: This was the 2nd of a two part episode, and the script had to be totally re-written as a mostly Xena Free episode due to Lucy breaking her pelvis in an accident on the Jay Leno show.
