Mistake Plot hole: (Season 11, Episode 5 - Hank Gets Dusted) It makes no sense why the producer has not got Hank to sign a release form or even talked about it. Throughout the episode Hank is upset by the fact that Dusty's reality show is featuring him. While Hank might not be aware of a release form, the producer would be fully aware if Hank did not sign one all the footage and most of the show would be unusable. Being that Hank was so against the project, this would also make it a riskier move.

Good Hill Hunting (season 3, episode 8)

Mistake Continuity: After Hank and Bobby return from La Grunta, Hank parks the car halfway into the garage. Yet when Peggy washes the blood from the deer off the front of the truck, the truck is now on the driveway and not near the garage.

Leanne's Saga (season 2, episode 19)

Mistake Continuity: When Leanne first arrives, she kisses Luanne, and gets red lipstick marks on her. Later, when Leanne and Luanne are near the bathroom and Leanne says "I knew you would understand" (about Bill), she kisses Luanne, but there are no marks from her lipstick. Even if she mostly kissed Luanne's neck, at least part of some of the marks should show when Luanne turns to leave (after talking to Peggy).

To Kill a Ladybird (season 4, episode 9)

Mistake Plot hole: As Bill goes to get another beer from the cooler box, he raises the door and a raccoon pops out. The only problem is there is no conceivable way it could have got in without one of them noticing or shutting the door on the cooler. They would have had to close the cooler before bringing it out and the size of the raccoon would have been hard to fit in the box along with the beer without someone noticing. Even if the raccoon had sneaked in the box before or after they brought the cooler out without anyone looking I don't think the raccoon would have been able to get in and put the door back on.

Hillennium (season 4, episode 10)

Mistake Continuity: In the episode we see the door to the boiler room (where Peggy's computer is) the door opens outwards into the hallway. Later in the episode she comes in to the room to check on some of her printings she was doing overnight. In this scene she opens it inwards. This wouldn't be possible as the door has a knob meaning it wouldn't be a two-way door.

To Spank with Love (season 3, episode 11)

Mistake Continuity: When Peggy brings "Ol' Spanky" to class for the first time, the writing on the blackboard has quite a bit of space to the right of the blackboard. As she is telling of Joseph, the second blackboard is almost right next to the first blackboard and the first blackboard doesn't have the writing on it anymore.

Aisle 8A (season 4, episode 5)

Mistake Continuity: When Hank takes Connie to the doctors, he is in the waiting room. After Connie and the doctor come out they open the two doors and stand in front of the doors. Towards the end of the scene as the doctor is about to leave them, they have all moved far a short distance from the left of the doors.

Next of Shin (season 3, episode 5)

Mistake Continuity: As Hank is having his discussion with Cotton in the Casino you can see Cotton's red (playing) chips in front of him. In one shot Hank stands up and the angle shows Cotton from over Hank's shoulder and the red chips look black and badly damaged. The next shot from the same angle the chips are back to being red and completely fine.

It's Not Easy Being Green (season 5, episode 16)

Mistake Continuity: When Hank goes to Bobby's class for "environmental court" and is sworn in, you see Bobby sitting at a large desk and to the right there is nothing next to it. The next shot there are now a few empty desks next to the large desk.

Hank and the Great Glass Elevator (season 5, episode 11)

Mistake Continuity: When Hank & the guys are talking about mooning from the glass elevator, Hank is positioned with his back next to the wall as he is sitting at the table. When Dale says his high school mooning was the best thing he ever did it. It then shows Hank and he says, "The vice principal gave you a week's detention" and is now sitting away from the wall with his back to a group of men in the opposite table.

Three Coaches & a Bobby (season 3, episode 12)

Mistake Continuity: As Coach Sauers is making them run up and down the stands you can see Bobby with all the mud on his face and body just reaching the bottom of the stand and then in the very next shot hes all of a sudden reaching the top of the stands with Joseph.

Across whole show

Mistake Continuity: (Episode 9-13: Gone With the Windstorm) Just after Dale, Nancy and Peggy get past the police blockade in the news van there is an overhead shot of the van and you can see Dale doesn't have his fake moustache on anymore. The next shot he is taking off the fake moustache.

When Cotton Comes Marching Home (season 5, episode 5)

Mistake Continuity: When Cotton is trying to use the circular saw on the car dealer, the extension plug it's connected to gets disconnected around half way onto the alley road. The next shot its moved to just past the driveway, and the following shot it's now moved to about halfway down the driveway.

Take Me out of the Ball Game (season 3, episode 24)

Mistake Other: When Peggy strikes Bill in the head in the softball game, he gets hit on the left side of his head. Later in the scene he is using an ice bag on his head but he's icing the other side.

Returning Japanese (1) (season 6, episode 21)

Mistake Plot hole: In this episode, Hank meets his paternal half brother. They look alike. However, we saw in an earlier episode that Hank's facial structure takes after his mother, not his father. Since they are paternal half brothers, then the Japanese brother cannot look like Hank since he has a different mother.

Mistake Audio problem: (Season 11, Episode 5 - Hank Gets Dusted) As the ZZ top members are trying to convince Bobby about staying in school, there is a distinct microphone error after Frank speaks. When he says "and the presidents", you can hear it quite distinctively. It is as if he spoke too close to the microphone at the end of his sentence.

Unfortunate Son (season 6, episode 11)

Mistake Continuity: When Hank's trying to convince his dad to let the Vietnam vets join the VFW, the table behind him with the bowl of fruit and the vase of flowers on it disappears between shots.

The Fat and the Furious (season 7, episode 2)

Mistake Continuity: When the woman at the hot dog contest says Bill is a freak and he gets depressed, he spits out the dog. On his plate there only a few hot dogs. After Hank talks to Bill, there are many more.

Peggy Makes the Big Leagues (season 5, episode 4)

Mistake Continuity: When Peggy writes on the board in her algebra class she writes a2= b2 + c2, around the middle of the board. Whilst talking to David the writing moves to near the top left of the board.

Spin the Choice (season 5, episode 3)

Mistake Deliberate "mistake": When Dale calls Hank from John Redcorn's trailer, the wooden clock behind Hank (in the Hill's kitchen) has no markings or hands to tell what time it is. This is a mistake as it is the exact same shape and object as it was before this episode and I doubt they replaced the clock with an completely exact object as before. A side note on the mistake is that it may be considered deliberate as the clock in previous episodes is shown frequently in the background and will generally change between shots.
