Spin the Choice (season 5, episode 3)

Continuity: In the scene where Bobby is refusing to partake in thanksgiving celebrations and Hank starts asking him whether he's nervous about the turkey carving. You can see Bobby's carving knife is pointed toward the wall with the blade (curved edge) pointed towards Bobby. Before Bobby picks it up to give back to Hank its facing the other way.

Peggy Makes the Big Leagues (season 5, episode 4)

Continuity: When Peggy writes on the board in her algebra class she writes a2= b2 + c2, around the middle of the board. Whilst talking to David the writing moves to near the top left of the board.

Continuity: On Peggy's first day of teaching she is called over to the lunch table of some of the other teachers. Other than the woman she first talks to, most of the people at the table keep changing. The first shot is a wide shot of the group of people at the table with the second shot a close up shot of them. Firstly the guy across from her at the table is wearing a green shirt. When she sits down its now a white shirt. The other mistakes is with two of the other people. At the end of the table there is a black guy and the lady in the middle is wearing a dark jacket with black hair. When Peggy sits down the black guy is now white and the woman in the middle is now very old with glasses, white hair and a light purple top.

Continuity: During the booster club meeting at the beginning of the episode, there is some guy with a moustache sitting at the end of the table. After they finish the video of the football, there is a different looking guy sitting there.

When Cotton Comes Marching Home (season 5, episode 5)

Continuity: When Cotton is trying to use the circular saw on the car dealer, the extension plug it's connected to gets disconnected around half way onto the alley road. The next shot its moved to just past the driveway, and the following shot it's now moved to about halfway down the driveway.

Continuity: As Hank visits Cotton to give his uniform, Cotton goes into the middle stall of the bathroom. If you look at the stall to the right it has its door open and no one is in there. As they are speaking you can see the door has closed in the reflection of the mirror. You can see even see it's closed without using the mirror when Hank puts the uniform down on the chair.

Continuity: As we see the float for the time in the driveway when Cotton arrives home, the float is vertical to the driveway. In the following shot Peggy starts asking Cotton for his war medals, the float is now turned around horizontally to the driveway.

Continuity: Before Topsy (Cotton's friend) & Cotton tie up the restaurant manager there is a quick shot that shows the sign on the door for the men's room. It has the symbol on it for disability access. However in one of the previous shots when Cotton tries to leave the restaurant the sign is the same but there was no wheelchair accessible symbol.

What Makes Bobby Run? (season 5, episode 6)

Continuity: Whilst Bobby is trying out for the mascot position of the Landry Longhorns, they have a tape player on the judge's desk for the music. In the end of Bobby's tryout there is a shot from behind the desk and the tape player has disappeared.

Chasing Bobby (season 5, episode 9)

Continuity: In the scene where the mechanic is checking Hank's car, there is a guy in the car who is sitting on the right side with his hands on the wheel. The problem is the steering wheel is on the left side of the car. In the next shot the steering wheel and the guy return back to the left side of the truck.

Continuity: Whilst Hank is talking about the price of popcorn at the movies Bobby & Connie come up to Hank and there is a blue poster next to Bobby of a woman holding a gun. In the next shot you can see the blue poster is now next to Hank despite a red & orange poster next to Hank in the previous shot of him.

Continuity: When Hank & Peggy are discussing what film to see, Connie & Bobby were to the right of Peggy who is right next to the truck. In the next shot Hank & Peggy are getting in the truck and Bobby and Connie are already there. Yet we would have had to have seen them go behind or in front of Peggy to get into the truck.

Other: In the episode, Hank's truck is destroyed when it gets stuck on the train tracks and a train smashes into it. Later on when Bobby is walking home by himself he finds the cover for the gear shift stick and puts it in his pocket. After a while Hank finds Bobby and Bobby gives him the cover and Hank puts it right on. Sounds fine. The only problem is that Hank has to screw the cover back onto the stick shift but doesn't have to remove any part of the previous stick. When the train hit the car, Bobby puts the cover right in his pocket and it would have had a bit of the stick left in it, as he had to screw it on. Its unlikely Bobby would have removed the bit of stick inside it because when we see him pick it up there is no part of the stick he would have been able to grip to unscrew it from the cover.

Continuity: In past seasons, Hank's truck has obviously been shown as a 1992-era Ford Ranger,however in this episode it is shown as a 1980's-era Ranger.

Yankee Hankee (season 5, episode 10)

Plot hole: After the old guys take Hank's clothes & throw him over the fence at the Alamo, Hank goes right into the building without having to unlock the door. Despite the fence being locked up, it seems a little odd that such an historical monument like the Alamo wouldn't have its main door locked.

Other: When Hank runs into the building to hide and lays down in the square of moonlight on the floor, he looks up at the window and a couple of clouds pass by. The clouds move too quickly, and when Hank is shown again, no shadows from the clouds move across him.

Hank and the Great Glass Elevator (season 5, episode 11)

Continuity: When Hank & the guys are talking about mooning from the glass elevator, Hank is positioned with his back next to the wall as he is sitting at the table. When Dale says his high school mooning was the best thing he ever did it. It then shows Hank and he says, "The vice principal gave you a week's detention" and is now sitting away from the wall with his back to a group of men in the opposite table.

Continuity: As Peggy is testing the burgers at the end to see the difference she moves to the charcoal grill and puts three patties between 2 buns. In the next shot when she is throwing them out there are two extra buns in amongst the middle patties.

Continuity: After the banquet dinner where Bill sees Lenore, she comes to visit him at home. They are sitting down on the couch and when she's talking she has her hand on his chest and you can see there is a pen in Bill's right shirt pocket. Between shots she talks about stealing Bill away at the prom and in one quick shot the pen disappears and the next shot it returns. Also look at Lenore's hand in this scene. It goes from being next to his chest, away from his chest back to being on his chest.

Now Who's the Dummy? (season 5, episode 12)

Deliberate "mistake": As Dale is taking photos of Bobby's ventriloquist doll you can see he is taking the photo from the upper right of where Bobby is standing in his house. However the angle of which he takes the photo from would be impossible as it's to the left of their screen doors and there is no window or see-through material from that angle.
