Other: Episode 13-12: "Shadow (2)." When Cruger is challenged to defeat 100 robots, a red countdown meter appears on the screen, ticking down each time Cruger dispatches an opponent. When the counter is at 21, Cruger slices his sword at a robot, which then goes down. But the counter stays at 21 and only goes to 22 when he slices at the next robot. Every robot in the sequence goes down after a single hit from Cruger's sword.
Revealing: The Putties, which Zedd and Rita use as cannon fodder for the Rangers, are made out of clay. When they are hit, chalk appears, to signal that they are being "worn down". When played in slow motion, we see that the chalk is on the Ranger's feet, before they hit the Putties. This is particularly true in closeups.
Continuity: When the Dinozords are called, they emerge from their hiding places, and assemble in a line, before formed Megazord Tank mode. During this time, it is a completely rocky background. After the Sabre-toothed tiger assembles, we cut to the Triceratops - which is now assembling in a completely desert-like environment. It then switches back to the rocky environment.
Other: In the scene where Tommy is proving himself to Goldar on the beach against the putties, Tommy stares down the last remaining putty and makes a charge towards him. In the wide shot of Tommy charging towards the putty, one of the "dead" putties on the ground lifts his head off the ground slightly, almost as if he is watching the action unfold.
Revealing: Certain monsters in Zord battles were designed for the first series. This is so Saban could use Japanese footage of ground fights, to save on shooting their own (As the costumes from series 1 carried over into series 2). Sometimes, you can see the Megazord, and Dragonzord, getting attacked (you may need to pause it). It should be the Thunderzord, or Tigerzord.
Continuity: During the Green Candle, in series 1, we are told that the only reason Tommy's Green Ranger powers could be drained is because he touched a special wax. However, Kim, Billy, Zack, and Trini did not touch the special wax, therefore the candles shouldn't have stolen their powers. When they were captured, they were transported straight to a prison cell as Goldar lit the candles, therefore the Rangers couldn't have touched the candles when captured.
Continuity: This can only be seen for a few frames, so slow motion may be needed. Tommy reveals himself as the White Ranger by unclipping his helmet; however, his ponytail is already visible. Tommy's hair should have been inside his suit/helmet if he had just unclipped it. From behind shots, it is tucked in.
Deliberate "mistake": A few deliberate mistakes here. It was around this time that 3 of the actors on the show (Austin St. John, Walter Jones, and Thuy Trang; who played Jason, Zack, and Trini) walked out over pay issues. So, to work around this until replacement rangers could be found, Saban used old footage of the 3 that walked out. The mistakes are as follows: 1) Tommy is shown to be wearing green. The Rangers wore clothes that matched the colour of their powers - Tommy was now the White Ranger (and should be wearing White clothing), as the Green Ranger powers had been destroyed. 2) Zack's hair changed from dreads, to his flat cut. This had an instant effect on Kimberley and Tommy's hair (again, due to the old footage), which had gotten noticeably longer as the series progressed. 3) Jason, Zack, and Trini's voices were different when they were morphed - obviously, they were voice sound-a-likes.
Continuity: Bulk has stepped on Skull's hand. We see a close-up of Bulk's foot on Skull's hand. When we cut to a wide shot of Bulk and Skull, Bulk's foot is no longer on Skull's hand, yet Skull is still squirming like his hand is trapped - as evident by Skull pulling his hand to get it free, and holding it when Bulk walks away.
Plot hole: Season 2 had a two part episode called "The Power Transfer" where Jason, Zack, and Trini transferred their powers to three new rangers. To do this they needed some special sword on a far away planet. So how come Kimberly didn't have to use the same sword to transfer her power coin to Katherine?
Plot hole: In this Episode Globbers energy is drained when Alpha stops the Solar Eclipse, and his Energy drains in the sunlight and severed the physical link between him and Ninjor. Despite the fact in the previous episode Globber had no trouble fighting in the sunlight, and the link stayed intact in the sunlight.
Plot hole: The whole "reverse time" thing is messed up. Master Vile claims that everyone has been changed back to children. So where would the adults we see for the remainder of the series come from? The Rangers are all about 20, and they're turned back into about 10 year lords. Why is Lt. Stone turned back approximately 30 years, into a 10 year old? It can't be that the reversal was different for each person, as Master Vile claims everyone is a child again. Very confusing.
Plot hole: When time in Angel Grove is reversed, young Bulk and Skull recognise Kimberley, Billy, and Tommy; but not Rocky, Adam, and Aisha, as they did not live in Angel Grove when they were young - this is even picked up by Aisha. However, Tommy did not live in Angel Grove when he was younger. In Series 1 (Green with Evil) he was described as "the new kid from out of town", and no-one know who he was (which meant he couldn't of lived in Angel Grove, moved away, and moved back). Therefore, Bulk & Skull shouldn't of recognised Tommy.
Plot hole: Assuming that in Series 2, Zordon gave permission for (before they were Rangers) Rocky, Aisha, and Adam to enter, Goldar and Rito shouldn't of been able to go into the Command Centre. Thoughout the series, it has been stressed that no-one enters the Command Centre without a Power Coin - this was even one of the subplots of Green with Evil, in Series 1.
Other: When assembling the Zeo Megazord, Zeo Zord V is the last to join, forming the head and back of the Zeo Megazord. When it has connected, we see all 5 Rangers slide down simultaneously into the head of the Zeo Megazord. Where it is piloted from and where did they slide down? The head has only just joined, and the other 4 Zeo Zord forms the rest of the body - not enough time for them ALL to slide up, and then back down again.
Continuity: At the start of the episode, Adam rolls behind a metal structure, knocking into some hanging chained levels, which caused them to sway quite violently. In the next shot, which is behind Adam, and levers are now stationary - it would take much longer than a fraction of a second for a lever to stop swinging.
Factual error: The climax of the episode features the Aquitain and Zeo Rangers fighting together, in Angel Grove. However, they are actually fighting outside the Tokyo Dome, in Japan. Further proof: http://www.rangergallery.com/albums/userpics/10012/Zeo%2520Rangers%2520and%2520Alien%2520Rangers.jpg.
Deliberate "mistake": Monkey Bulk & Skull are driving Lt. Stone's car. From inside shots of the car, Monkey Bulk's head doesn't go above the headrest. From outside shots, we can see the guy who was driving the car - his head is way above the headrest, and he's wearing a frizzy fur costume (Monkey Bulk & Skull's fur is very fine).
Continuity: One at a time, the Rangers jump down a tunnel into the Phantom Ranger's service tunnels. After TJ has jumped down, watch Carlos - his position changes between frames, and the camera is on him the whole time. First he is facing the hole, next he has his back turned - yet we do not see the movement.
Plot hole: For the past 5 series, Bulk and Skull have been in every episode. They've seen villains from other galaxies (Lord Zedd, Rita Repulsa, The Machine Empire, and Divatox) who have all sent monsters to Angel Grove and threatened Bulk and Skull on countless occasions. They've even been turned into monkeys and made invisible by space creatures. Why do they feel the need to spend Series 6 seeing if alien life exists? Surely 5 series worth of aliens is enough proof?
Plot hole: Andross leaves the Shuttle on the remote planet, then later returns. Not long after the Astro Megaship lands, it is attacked - the Rangers quickly retreat and take off. The Rangers could not have formed the Astro Megazord later on in the episode, as they left the Space Shuttle on the remote planet. (The Shuttle serves as the head of the Astro Megazord).
Continuity: The entire episode, the Astro Megaship is shown orbiting the Earth, yet a few minutes after the Craterites appear, they are parachuting out of the Astro Megaships. Not only were they not shown to have grabbed parachutes when jumping out, but the Megaship wasn't even in the Earth's atmosphere.
Continuity: Piranatrons have always been small and weak - their appearance hadn't changed for 2 series and a film. Yet when Quadtrons and Piranatrons are fighting the Phantom Ranger, the Piranatrons are noticeably taller and larger than normal, when standing behind Divatox. Divatox has ALWAYS been bigger and taller than Piranatrons.
Factual error: Bulk, Skull, and the Professor try to get in a Apollo Saturn V rocket to escape Earth. They head up the tower, and are seen getting into the ship via the thin pillar at the top - this pillar was used in case there was an emergency early on in the launch. Astronauts got into the ship in the Command Module, which was slightly lower down.
Continuity: At the Start of the Lost Galaxy season the planet Mirinoi seems to be located within the multi-coloured lost galaxy, and the ENTIRE planet is seen turning into stone. In the season finale the planet now appears to be in the black space of our universe, and only small pockets of the planet appear to be encased in stone. The planet also suddenly has a moon which it didn't before.
Continuity: The 4 Space Rangers (Carlos, TJ, Cassie, Ashley) morph on the overhanging gangway, then jump off to the ground below. We see them hit the ground, and in the very next shot, they're right next to the Galaxy Rangers, and Andross, who are on the other side of the courtyard. There wasn't enough time for them to move that distance.
Plot hole: Tommy states that he and the other Zeo Rangers destroyed the Machine Empire's leaders and ultimately destroyed the Machine Empire except for the Generals who escaped. This is not true - Lord Zedd & Rita destroyed the Machine Empire leaders at the end of series 4, and the Space Rangers destroyed them again in Countdown to Destruction in series 6. The Zeo Rangers never defeated the Machine Empire.
