The Fairly OddParents (2001) - 38 corrections
Comments made in brackets are corrections from other visitors. As such, any aggressive/abusive corrections (and I get quite a few) written as if they're comments I've made myself will be ignored. To submit your own corrections for mistakes, just click the edit icon under an entry, then choose "correct entry". Some entries have "duplicated entry" after them - these are entries which were already listed on the main page, but were submitted again. I occasionally leave these online for a while, just in case they were moved in error, so don't worry about pointing them out to me.
Mighty Mom and Dyno Dad / Knighty Knight (series 2)
Totally Spaced Out / The Switch Glitch (series 2)
When Timmy is in that crazy day-care place, Gary and Betty say that he can't go home until Vicky comes back. If Timmy's parents were just going on a trip, and since there was no indication of how long Vicky was going to "Europe", shouldn't they take him home later? And if Timmy can wish himself onto the alien planet Yugopotamia, why shouldn't he just wish himself home? [They meant that he couldn't leave that place because he didn't have a baby-sitter to watch him, not that he was going to have to stay there even if his parents came back but not Vicky. So yes they would take him home later. As for wishing himself home, as we've seen in other episodes Timmy does not always think things through. So that was just dumb on the characters part.]
Foul Balled / The Boy Who Would Be Queen (series 2)
When the Losers are playing against the Bankees, Timmy is on third base with grass around the base. Dirt surrounds baseball bases. [There are thousands of baseball diamonds in America, and I don't believe all of them are legally required to follow the same rules. Maybe the town decided grass around the bases would be safer for the kids than gravel. ]
In 'Foul Balled,' how did magic let Chester win competitions, when Da Rules don't allow magic to do that? [He didn't wish for Chester to win. He wished Chester was great at baseball. He also wished his Mom's garden was "full of life" which allowed her to beat the Dinklebergs in the best garden contest. I guess it's a loophole that you can equip yourself to win, but can't straight out wish to win.]
Action Packed / Smarty Pants (series 2)
In Smarty Pants, Timmy can't be smart enough to win the Brain-A-Thon, it doesn't make sense because he didn't directly wish to win. Plus Chester could still be good in Foul Balled so Timmy should be able to be smart. [According to the rules, it is also forbidden to use magic to win contests and use a previous wish in a contest. This is also stated in "Hex Games." Whenever in other episodes where Timmy uses magic from a previous wish to win, it's a mistake. Clearly, the writers never established the no equipping yourself to win rule until later episodes. Equipping yourself to win is almost the same as directly wishing to win. This is why in "Hex Games", Timmy was forbidden to equip himself to win. Frankly, this point is highly debated.]
Kung Timmy / Which Witch Is Which? (series 3)
The Big Scoop / Pipe Down (series 3)
The Secret Origin of Denzel Crocker (series 3)
Beddy Bye / The Grass is Always Greener (series 3)
Sleep Over And Over / Mother Nature (series 3)
Engine Blocked / Mighty Mom and Dyno Dad Meet the Crimson Chin (series 3)
Most Wanted Wish / This is Your Wish (series 3)
Right before the episode ends, you see boots flying from the Texas Cage Match, but how could they start? You would need every fairy in the universe to want the rock, but Cosmo and Wanda didn't want it. [They never said that it was another fairy tournament, they were just fighting over the rock. They can fight over the rock without having everyone want it.]
Odd Jobs / Movie Magic (series 3)
Vicy Loses Her Icky / Pixies Inc. (series 4)
When Vicky turns nice, she does nice things for Timmy, including placing a thermometer in his mouth - with the bulb outside the mouth. The bulb, which has heat sensitive mercury, should always be placed inside the mouth, in order to take a person's temperature. [That was stupid on the characters part. Character stupidity is not a mistake.]
