In several episodes you can catch a glimpse of another hippie sitting somewhere inconspicuous in the background. A good example is in the first episode, when Rick is watching telly. [How is that a mistake? The hippy is a part of the set at different times. In the young ones anything weird can happen or appear. Like the old guy who comes out of the cupboard in "Boring", he isn't a mistake and neither is the hippy.]
When Neil throws the golf ball back, you can see no ball is thrown. When Rik catches it and looks at his hands the ball should have dropped to the floor as he holds his hands open directly in front of him. [That's because there was never any ball thrown. The ball's still in the toilet - Neil threw back 'something else', which Rik now has all over his hands.]

On the door that joins the kitchen and the hallway, there are two tall panels. They are both different colors - this is because one of them is made from a different material so that Vyvyan can punch his hand through it later when he is smashing up the house. [Given the state of the house, the extremely dodgy nature of the landlord and the behaviour of the students living in it, it's certain that if any repairs were being done, no attention would be given to colour matching or even to using the same materials. The different coloured panel is from a previous repair.]
When Rik is watching 'Nozin' Aroun'' on TV, he dislikes the program and smashed the TV with his foot. If you freeze-frame it, you can still see the image of the show on the TV, even though the TV is smashed. This means the CGI people didn't take the image off the green screen quick enough. Also, a few seconds later when Rik is talking to Mike, there are spikes of the screen remaining around the edge of the TV. However, they are green - the remains of the green screen. [The need for freeze frame disqualifies this mistake.]
