Entry The famous scene that caused controversy, where Ken grabs Deirdre by the neck after finding out about her and Mike, wasn't in the script, it was an improvisation. William Roache, who plays Ken, thought that Ken's reaction was a bit unrealistic. Entry The original working title was to be "Florizel Street," but this was dropped as it sounded too much like a disinfectant, according to the then producers.
Entry Before launching a music career in the Monkees, Davy Jones starred in Coronation Street as Edna Sharpel's grandson.
