The Tattle-Tale - S2-E10

New this week Continuity mistake: When Cindy goes downstairs to ask "isn't anyone coming up to say goodnight?" or something similar, when Alice is talking to Mike and Carol about Sam not coming over, Cindy is wearing her pyjamas. She then gets in trouble and goes straight back up to her room and she is suddenly dressed in jeans and a top - her hair has different hair ties in it too.

Fright Night - S4-E6

New this month Continuity mistake: Mr. Brady places the bust on the half-wall behind the couch. When Alice swings her purse at it, it shatters immediately, but when the lights are turned on, it looks like all of the pieces are in the middle of the floor between the couch and chair.

Jan, the Only Child - S4-E8

Jan, the Only Child - S4-E8

New this month Continuity mistake: While the kids are practising the potato sack race as Jan watches from the sidelines, when Marcia steps into her sack and hops away there's a large color image on the front of the sack, but when she reaches Peter, then turns and heads back the image has vanished - it's not on either side, then it reappears when she's back with Bobby. Additionally, when Cindy hops in the sack that Greg was in, the sack is ripped at the bottom and Cindy's feet are on the grass, but when Cindy reaches Peter the bottom of her sack is perfectly intact.

Fright Night - S4-E6

New this month Continuity mistake: When Jan, Marcia, and Cindy search the boys' room Cindy finds the slide projector under Greg's bed, and when Marcia holds up the transparency slide with the "ghost" image, the close-up of the slide presents two problems. First, the "ghost" is horizontal in the wide shots, but is vertical in the close-ups, and second, the fingers holding the slide in the close-up do not belong to Marcia.

The Fender Benders - S3-E23

New this month Continuity mistake: While they're in the courtroom, when Carol is standing beside Harry Duggan in front of the board, the small red car on the board keeps changing from being straight to slanted, depending on the camera angle.

The Fender Benders - S3-E23

New this month Continuity mistake: At the start of the episode there's a wide shot of the house exterior as the Brady's station wagon is pulling into their driveway, and the wagon has wooden side paneling, but in the next closeup the paneling is gone. Plus the fact that the rear-end damage doesn't exist in the first wide shot, which is the point of this episode.

The Hero - S1-E21

Visible crew/equipment: When the shelf falls in the store, you can see the crew member that pulls on a rope, triggering the collapse of the shelving unit, it was not the girl's weight that made it tip.

The Private Ear - S3-E9

Continuity mistake: The microphone next to the tape recorder moves from one shot to the next.

A Room at the Top - S4-E23

Continuity mistake: In "Our Son, the Man", Greg wants his own room. One night, while in bed, Mike and Carol discuss their options. Carol says, "How about the attic?" Mike responds with, "That would be fine if Greg were only two and a half feet tall." Later, they give Greg the den for a while. However, in "A Room At the Top", after cleaning out the attic, which was now full size, both Greg and Marcia want it for their own private room.

54-40 and Fight - S1-E15

Other mistake: A final contest is given for control of "green stamps" with all the kids building a "House of Cards." Whomever causes the cards to fall will be the losers. All is going well until Tiger comes in and knocks into Peter and causes him bump the table and knock over the cards. If you watch closely at the end of the scene, when all the dialog is finished, you can see Mike trying to knock down a few remaining cards. However they keep popping up. Probably due to the fact that the cards were glued together to make it easier for the kids to build upon.

Continuity mistake: The last line of Alice's recipe, written on the chalkboard, changes from "3 egg yolk" to "3 egg yolks" and back again.

A Fistful of Reasons - S2-E8

Continuity mistake: Cindy's notebooks keep changing in number and color during Peter's confrontation with Buddy.

54-40 and Fight - S1-E15

Other mistake: The scene where Alice is giving Tiger a bath was the same one used in "Katchoo Katchoo", albeit with some audio dubbing thrown in, like when Alice complains about the floor getting wet.

Try, Try Again - S5-E10

Continuity mistake: In the kitchen when Jan announces that she took up tap dancing, Mike's first button goes from buttoned to unbuttoned a few times during the scene.

The Great Earring Caper - S4-E20

Continuity mistake: During the kids' ping pong game in the backyard, there is something white near Jan's feet that appears to be a spare ball. But in the very next shot, it's gone.

The Treasure of Sierra Avenue - S2-E7

Revealing mistake: The set lights are reflected in Greg's beach ball in what is supposed to be an outdoor scene.

What Goes Up . . . - S2-E11

Revealing mistake: When Eve Plumb (Jan) is jumping on the trampoline you can hear Greg say "Why don't you give it a try, Eve?" The same thing happens when Peter is on the trampoline, instead of saying "Peter," Carol says, "Go get 'em, Chris!"

The Fender Benders - S3-E23

Character mistake: In the courtroom, Cindy and Bobby are repeating their fight over spilling ice cream and Cindy says "You spilled ice cream on my dress" but at the start of the episode when coming home from the store, Cindy is wearing pants, not a dress.

Trivia

This episode was based on something that happened to a classmate of Sherwood's daughter, Hope. At Hope's school there was a play, but only one relative was allowed to come. Hope's classmate's mum had just gotten remarried and he was confused and wondered whether he should take his new dad to show he was OK, or risk taking his mother.
