The Brady Bunch

The Hero - S1-E21

Visible crew/equipment: When the shelf falls in the store, you can see the rope attached to the top of the shelving unit being pulled from off-screen triggering the collapse of the shelving unit, it was not the girl's weight that made it tip.

A Room at the Top - S4-E23

Continuity mistake: In "Our Son, the Man", Greg wants his own room. One night, while in bed, Mike and Carol discuss their options. Carol says, "How about the attic?" Mike responds with, "That would be fine if Greg were only two and a half feet tall." Later, they give Greg the den for a while. However, in "A Room At the Top", after cleaning out the attic, which was now full size, both Greg and Marcia want it for their own private room.

The Private Ear - S3-E9

Continuity mistake: The microphone next to the tape recorder moves from one shot to the next.

What Goes Up . . . - S2-E11

Revealing mistake: When Peter is on the trampoline, instead of saying "Peter," Carol says, "Go get 'em, Chris!" and a few minutes later the same thing happens after Cindy has a turn alone, you can hear Greg say "Why don't you give it a try, Eve?"

54-40 and Fight - S1-E15

Other mistake: A final contest is given for control of "green stamps" with all the kids building a "House of Cards." Whomever causes the cards to fall will be the losers. All is going well until Tiger comes in and knocks into Greg and causes him to bump the table and knock over the cards. If you watch closely at the end of the scene, when all the dialog is finished, you can see Mike trying to knock down a few remaining cards. However they keep popping up. Probably due to the fact that the cards were glued together to make it easier for the kids to build upon.

Click - S3-E11

Continuity mistake: The last line of Alice's recipe, written on the chalkboard, changes from "3 egg yolk" to "3 egg yolks" and back again.

A Fistful of Reasons - S2-E8

Continuity mistake: Cindy's notebooks keep changing in number and color during Peter's confrontation with Buddy.

The Winner - S2-E21

Continuity mistake: When Mike and Carroll drive Bobby to the TV show for the ice cream eating contest they leave in the blue convertible. They return home in the brown station wagon.

Try, Try Again - S5-E10

Continuity mistake: In the kitchen when Jan announces that she took up tap dancing, Mike's first button goes from buttoned to unbuttoned a few times during the scene.

The Treasure of Sierra Avenue - S2-E7

Revealing mistake: The set lights are reflected in Greg's beach ball in what is supposed to be an outdoor scene.

54-40 and Fight - S1-E15

Other mistake: The scene where Alice is giving Tiger a bath was the same one used in "Katchoo Katchoo", albeit with some audio dubbing thrown in, like when Alice complains about the floor getting wet.

The Personality Kid - S3-E6

Continuity mistake: When Peter comes down to answer the phone, he's wearing a blue shirt. When he hangs up the phone, his shirt color changes to a light red/pink color. Then back to blue again.

The Fender Benders - S3-E23

Character mistake: In the courtroom, Cindy and Bobby are repeating their fight over spilling ice cream and Cindy says "You spilled ice cream on my dress" but at the start of the episode when coming home from the store, Cindy is wearing pants, not a dress.

Click - S3-E11

Continuity mistake: In the photo of the football reception, the enlarged photo is not from the original. The receiver's legs are in a different position.

The Great Earring Caper - S4-E20

Continuity mistake: During the kids' ping pong game in the backyard, there is something white near Jan's feet that appears to be a spare ball. But in the very next shot, it's gone.

Confessions, Confessions - S2-E12

Continuity mistake: When the vase gets broken, it's easy to see that one large piece flies off the chest of drawers onto the floor. And when the boys look down at the broken vase from upstairs, three pieces are on top of the chest of drawers. But Greg - seen later trying to fix it - says something to the effect of "Good thing it only broke into three pieces." So what about the piece that flew off onto the floor?

Amateur Nite - S4-E16

Revealing mistake: When the Brady kids are practicing for the talent show, instead of saying, "Come on, Pete," Marcia says, "Come on Chris," which is the actor playing Peter's real name (Christopher Knight).

54-40 and Fight - S1-E15

Continuity mistake: When the kids are building the card castle to see who would get to choose what they get with the stamps, Jan is putting a card on, in one shot her hair is up in a ponytail then in the other shot her hair is down. This happens back and forth when the shots change.

My Brother's Keeper - S5-E8

Continuity mistake: Near the beginning, Greg is painting the shutter green, he gets a phone call and goes inside. The paint bucket falls on Bobby because the ladder falls. Greg sticks his head out the window and asks who took his ladder. The shutter now has no paint on it.

What Goes Up . . . - S2-E11

Deliberate mistake: While Bobby's parakeet is flying around downstairs, before the bird settles down on the TV set there are two closeups of Bobby which are flipped shots, note the furniture and Bobby's PJs.

What Goes Up . . . - S2-E11

Deliberate mistake: When Bobby's at the treehouse the second time for his initiation into the club, there's a boy already up in the treehouse, and after Peter takes the birdcage from Bobby's hand, the next closeup of the boy in the treehouse is a flipped shot, note the wood boards.

Confessions, Confessions - S2-E12

Visible crew/equipment: During dinner, when the freshly glued vase with the flowers springs a few leaks we can see the top of the kitchen set, particularly when Alice makes the joke about three coins for the fountain.

Snow White and the Seven Bradys - S5-E3

Audio problem: When the kids are painting a cardboard tree for the play, they ask their dad what he thinks of it. He then says "you better ask the two poodles next door." As he walks away he seems to almost trip/fall over something. Then the mom is heard laughing, even though she's not in the scene.

Greg's Triangle - S4-E11

Continuity mistake: When Marcia is cheering in the backyard, her locket tucks itself into her shirt when she finishes.

The Hero - S1-E21

Other mistake: Carol grabs a pot holder with her right hand and removes a small cake from the oven. The cake pan is obviously not hot. It starts to tip and Carol steadies it by placing her bare left hand on the underside of the pan.

The Tattle-Tale - S2-E10

Continuity mistake: When Cindy goes downstairs to ask "isn't anyone coming up to say goodnight?" or something similar, when Alice is talking to Mike and Carol about Sam not coming over, Cindy is wearing her pyjamas. She then gets in trouble and goes straight back up to her room and she is suddenly dressed in jeans and a top - her hair has different hair ties in it too.

Greg's Triangle - S4-E11

Audio problem: In the scene where Mike comes home and Carol has ruined his golf club, you hear a door open and close, with a latch/doorknob. She hears it and knows he is home. But he comes in the back door, which was a sliding (glass) door.

Lost Locket, Found Locket - S1-E25

Continuity mistake: Jan puts her bathrobe on, flipping all of her hair behind her back. But in the next shot, some of her hair is over her left shoulder.

You Can't Win 'Em All - S4-E22

Revealing mistake: When Cindy and her parents get home after the television show, just as Carol and Mike walk down the steps the set's unfinished wood can be seen at the edge of the steps, at the bottom right corner of the screen.

The Brady Bunch mistake picture

54-40 and Fight - S1-E15

Continuity mistake: When Marcia takes her last turn placing a card at the top of the tall house of cards, in the shots facing her she's stressed about accidentally collapsing the cards so she holds back her charm bracelet with her left hand, but in the first shot facing the three boys Marcia's left arm is down at her side and the charm bracelet is dangling at her wrist, right beside the cards.

Trivia

This episode was based on something that happened to a classmate of Sherwood's daughter, Hope. At Hope's school there was a play, but only one relative was allowed to come. Hope's classmate's mum had just gotten remarried and he was confused and wondered whether he should take his new dad to show he was OK, or risk taking his mother.
