Across whole show

Mistake Revealing: The hallway that leads to the den and the back door of the kitchen has a door at the end of it, when this door is opened we see what looks like pine trees and mountains, we know that the Stevens have neighbors on that side of the house, so that when the door is opened you can blatantly tell that it is a picture.

Mistake Revealing: When looking out of the Steven's kitchen window, the view outside changes completely during different episodes of the show.

Mistake Continuity: In the early shows, the door between the dining room and kitchen is a swinging door with louvers. In later shows there is a regular sized door with partial louvers. However, after this change, there are a couple of episodes within the same season, where the regular sized louver door is a solid door with no louvers.

Mistake Continuity: In more than one episode the Steven's front door changes. In some shots the door is solid paneled but in other shots the door has a half circle window at the top. It seems the window usually appears in close up shots of people talking.

Mistake Revealing: In several episodes, the window over the kitchen sink is shown from the outside, while snoopy people look in. The window shown in these exterior shots is far too low to be the same window that is over the Steven's kitchen sink, which is shown in many shots looking out.

I, Darrin, Take This Witch, Samantha (season 1, episode 1)

Mistake Continuity: When Darrin collapses after Samantha zaps him the drink, in the next shot the glass is on the table with the straw across the top.

Mistake Audio problem: When Samantha and Darrin are at his ex-girlfriend's house for dinner, Samantha is doing all kinds of things to sabotage the dinner, even making a gust of wind come through the front door thus blowing the ex's wig off. The ex girlfriend is screaming but the screams don't match up to what her mouth is doing.

Be it Ever So Mortgaged (season 1, episode 2)

Mistake Revealing: When Gladys is looking through the window, you can see part of the facade cross bracing.

It Shouldn't Happen to a Dog (season 1, episode 3)

Mistake Continuity: Samantha's hair goes from neat to messy and back again during the chase scene in the alley.

It Takes One to Know One (season 1, episode 11)

Mistake Continuity: When Larry tells Darrin that he is going home, the blinds behind Darrin are shut, however in the close up of Darrin, the blinds are open.

A Vision of Sugar Plums (season 1, episode 15)

Mistake Factual error: Samantha looks out a back dormer window to see Darrin in the front yard.

Red Light, Green Light (season 1, episode 23)

Mistake Continuity: When Dave sees Darrin's ad for the community meeting, he suggests a couple of changes, one of them being to add a line saying "and bring your friends". But the ad was shown in close-up shortly before Dave's arrival, and there was already a line saying "Be sure and bring all your friends".

Which Witch is Which? (season 1, episode 24)

Mistake Continuity: Sam gets fitted for a "new" dress that she wore in earlier episodes 7,10,and 13.

Driving is the Only Way to Fly (season 1, episode 26)

Mistake Visible crew/equipment: As Harold and Samantha drive away from the traffic jam, part of the camera rig is reflected in the side window of the car.

There's No Witch Like an Old Witch (season 1, episode 27)

Mistake Visible crew/equipment: As Samantha helps Aunt Clara out of the closet, as Samantha says, "Don't go 'way!" the boom mike's shadow becomes momentarily visible at the top of the screen.

Open the Door Witchcraft (season 1, episode 28)

Mistake Deliberate "mistake": Sam and Darrin are "trapped" in the garage; however, you can see a side door.

Cousin Edgar (season 1, episode 36)

Man's Best Friend (season 2, episode 32)

Mistake Other: At the end of a scene showing the dog, the scene is reversed (mirror image) for a moment.

Accidental Twins (season 3, episode 4)

Mistake Continuity: The doorknob on the nursery room door is on the right side of the door whether it's viewed from outside or inside the room. It should be on the left side in one of the views and the right side in the other.

Charlie Harper, Winner (season 3, episode 25)

Mistake Revealing: When Endora "freezes" Daphne, you can see her breathing and rocking gently from side to side showing that she is not frozen.

Toys in Babeland (season 4, episode 2)

Mistake Plot hole: Darrin tells Samantha that Larry thinks the Stephenses are having a costume party. While Larry earlier had said that to himself when he looked through the Stephens' living room window, he never said it to Darrin.

Mistake Revealing: As Larry walks up to the Stephens' house, his shadow falls across the "house" and "street" behind him, revealing that it is a painted backdrop.

Double, Double, Toil and Trouble (season 4, episode 4)

The Safe and Sane Halloween (season 4, episode 8)

Mistake Revealing: In this episode when the Gremlin, Goblin, Jack-o-Lantern, and Sam are peeking in through the back window, the gremlin turns to look at Sam when she is speaking and his ear passes through the area where there is supposed to be glass.

Allergic to Macedonian Dodo Birds (season 4, episode 11)

Mistake Visible crew/equipment: When Samantha and Aunt Clara are on the roof of the house, the shadow of what appears to be someone's arm appears against the "sky" backdrop on the left side.

My, What Big Ears You Have (season 4, episode 14)

Mistake Factual error: When Abner opens the carton in their garage, Gladys asks what it is, Abner replies that it is a table saw, however, it is a radial arm saw.

How Green Was My Grass (season 4, episode 24)

Mistake Continuity: Before this episode (and after as well) Darrin and Samantha give their address as 1164 Morning Glory Circle, however in this episode, when Darrin slams the door, the '9' in 192 on their address spins around to make 162, hence the angry neighbor at 162 saying that his grass was installed at the Stevens' by mistake.

Mistake Continuity: The minute hand on the teakettle clock is between the 6 and the 7 when it's shown behind Samantha. When she goes to the closet, the clock reads 8:15 (minute hand on the 3). When she returns, the minute hand is between the 6 and the 7 again.

It's So Nice to Have a Spouse Around the House (season 5, episode 5)

Mistake Plot hole: Darrin tells Serena that it was a good idea to have Endora babysit Tabitha. However, he wasn't even home when Endora left with Tabitha; he was unaware that a sitter was even needed. How could he have known?

Samantha Fights City Hall (season 5, episode 9)

Mistake Continuity: After Samantha sees the statue talking to her, her expression goes from shocked to annoyed and back to shocked in consecutive shots. Also, her hair is over both shoulders in each of the "shocked" shots but over one shoulder in the "annoyed" shot.

Instant Courtesy (season 5, episode 13)

Mistake Other: Samantha is reading a 4-line note from Endora. The paper is semi-transparent and in a shot from the front, we can easily see the writing through the paper. However, after the note is "twitched" into a second, shorter note, there's another shot from the front - and the lettering looks exactly the same as it did before.

Marriage, Witches' Style (season 5, episode 21)

Mistake Revealing: The wires holding the cake knife are visible as it's cutting a slice.

Mistake Revealing: In addition to Samantha, Elizabeth Montgomery also played Serena. In scenes where both characters appeared, Elizabeth would face the camera and play one character and another actress, Melody McCord, would play the other with her back to the camera. However, the very next shot shows Santa exiting the kitchen (around the corner from the front door) and starting up the hallway toward the living room. There is no possible way Mrs. Kravitz could have seen him when she said she did.

Mistake Continuity: Tabitha's scarf jumps from one side of Samantha's lap to the other in consecutive shots.

Tabitha's Very Own Samantha (season 6, episode 19)

Mistake Other: The Ferris wheel starts turning before the operator pulls the handle to start it.

Super Arthur (season 6, episode 20)

Mistake Revealing: Paul Lynde is supposedly "in" the mirror near the front door, but as he waves his arm to cast a spell, the shadow of his arm waving is visible at the far left, revealing he is actually standing off camera at a spot where his reflection is visible. Elizabeth Montgomery also briefly glances at him.

A Chance on Love (season 6, episode 26)

Mistake Deliberate "mistake": The drunk that is always in the bar in New York is the same drunk in Salem that sees Sam twitch the witch on the signs from an old hag to a young witch resembling her.

Mary the Good Fairy (season 7, episode 15)

Mistake Revealing: The wires helping the Good Fairy fly are visible as she flies around the living room. They also are visible when Samantha flies outside a couple of minutes later.
