The closing theme song throughout Series 3 of Auf Weidershen Pet was "Why Aye Man" by Mark Knopfler (of "Dire Straits" fame). For added "authenticity", backing vocals on this track were sung by Jimmy Nail (Oz) and Tim Healy (Dennis). However, the lyrics of the song refer to the storyline of series One and NOT to series three... [This should not be considered a mistake because only the chorus is sung. Many closing theme songs have very little to do with the show.]
