Plot hole: When Clark confronts Jason Dante and tells him the race is off, one of Dante's thug friends picks up the krptonite/nitrous oxide booster tank and only then does Clark start feeling the effects of the kryptonite. Even though the tank had been sitting out uncovered well before the guy picked it up.

Audio problem: Towards the end of Lex telling Clark about his car, that it was stolen and returned, Lex says "Often that can be the test of a true friendship." After Lex's line the camera switches to show a reaction shot of Clark. In that shot, just before it switches back to Lex, you see Lex's mouth move as if he is saying something but there are no words heard.

Continuity: In Pete's rearview mirror there is only a couple of hundred feet between Jason's car, which is in the process of crashing at the time, and the bridge. In the next shot of Jason's car almost a mile away from the bridge. Drastically different distances.

Continuity: As the car that Jason was in comes to a stop after the crash you can see Pete's red car is nowhere near the wreckage of Jason's car. In the next shot Pete's car is shown rolling forward to a stop, meaning he hadn't backed up but was still going forward and stopped where he was, but now Pete is only 30-40 feet from the wreck of Jason's car.

Revealing: After Clark speeds past Pete, Clark stops in front of Pete's car causing Pete to slam on his brakes. After they argue about why Pete is street racing Pete gets in the car and leaves but there are no skid marks on the road from him slamming on his brakes.

Continuity: During the scene when Jonathan comes home from the hospital the length of rolled up sleeve on Jonathan's left arm changes between shots. As Jonathan says "Low sodium turkey?" the sleeve is down to just about touch the watch he is wearing. When the camera jumps to Jonathan's left side, as Martha turns around, the sleeve is now several inches higher and further from his watch than it was before. Jonathan does nothing to his sleeve between shots.

Continuity: As Alicia holds the kryptonite on Clark her hand turns between shots. While she says ".but you broke the rules first." there is a camera change. Before the change the frontal view of Alicia has her holding the kryptonite with the glowing part straight up. After the camera change she is now holding it so it points to her left.

Continuity: The field trip is supposed to be on the 39th floor, as stated by Clark and the sign next to the elevator. The view outside the large windows as Lionel is talking shows that they are no more than 5 stories up.

Factual error: Clark and Alicia are in the basement of the school, as part of the plan to trick Alicia, and, as they go to leave, Alicia picks up her bag with Clark right next to her. A few minutes later we find out that Alicia has a kryptonite rock in her bag. She takes it out of her bag to get away from Clark. Clark felt no effects from the rock before that even though he was in such close proximity, and surely a bag would not be enough to protect his from feeling the effects.

Continuity: After Adam says "Look who's talking." you can see Lana raise the notebook she found as she starts to respond when the camera is behind her. When the camera jumps to the other side, facing Lana, the notebook is down instantly between shots and she has to raise it up again.

Revealing: Earlier in the episode Lana is looking through Adam's journal which contains entries through at least the end of January. However, when Clark is taking Alicia home after their date, there are Christmas lights up due to filming during the holidays.

Continuity: While Alicia is in Clark's bed she says "I know you wanted to kiss me, Clark." and while she says this her hand is on Clark's face. The very next shot shows her hand is nowhere near his face.

Continuity: When Alicia confronts Lana in the Talon, when Alicia says, "you're definitely not smarter" Alicia has the knife right on Lana's cheek. When the camera switches to behind Lana, as Alicia says, "You don't have my abilities" the knife is not on her cheek.

Continuity: The bomb that Garret wears has four kryptonite section, one at each of the corners, and each section has three distinct pieces. The pieces glow only from the center core and the outer edge is only green colored and is not glowing. When the shot switches to the CG shot of Garret falling, The camera passes over and grabs the bomb and now the krptonite has a uniform glow and there are now the one block on each corner does not have the three individual pieces.

Continuity: Garret is shot in the chest and the bullet is shown as hitting on the right side. Then, in the special effects shots as time is stopped and Garret is in mid-fall, his bullet wound is now on the left side of his chest.

Factual error: At the end of the episode, Lionel Luther pulls the top of the gun back on his gun to chamber a bullet. But he accidentally has his finger squeezing the trigger, causing the gun to slide into place more quickly than intended. I'm not a gun expert, but I think if there was a bullet in the chamber at the time, it would have been fired.

Continuity: As Clark jumps the fence, to stop Jonathan from falling, you can see Martha is standing in sunshine with the shadow of the barn well away from her. When Clark actually catches Jonathan suddenly Martha is standing in the shadow of the barn.

Visible crew/equipment: As the FBI search the Kent's house, you can see the shadow of the camera as it moves from the kitchen to the hallway next to the stairs. The shadow appears on the right side of the arch between the kitchen and hallway.

Continuity: When the weather vane falls to the ground the rooster portion of the vane gets bent. When Jonathan picks it up and starts to angrily walk away from Martha and Clark it is straightened.
