The Colour of Alan - S2-E2

Continuity mistake: During the meeting with Pete, Michael comes in and lowers the torches attached to the bicycle wheel. He lowers the wheel, and then uses one hand to turn the torches on and the other to hold the rope to stop the wheel from falling to the ground. The shot cuts back to him and he is now using both hands to turn the torches on and the rope has already been tied off in the background. The shot cuts away and then back to him and the rope is back in his hand and he walks across to tie it off.

Alan Partridge: Back of the net.

Trivia: Given that the BBC are very much against product placement in their shows, its shocking the amount of placement that goes on in Alan Partridge. Its really in your face stuff. Ginsters pasties, BP petrol, Lexus cars, Flavia coffee machines, Directors bitter, Twix and Yorkie bars. In every episode the above are mentioned on numerous occastions. Not that I give a hoot about product placement myself, but am so surprised at how blatently obvious it is and yet the BBC have always been so against it.
