Full House (1987) - 58 mistakes in entire show

Revealing: In the episodes where Michelle is a toddler, during the opening you can see her point to the camera during the car/bridge part. Jesse tries to make it look cute by laughing and pushing her arm down.

Revealing: In almost every episode where Michelle is a toddler, you can always see her look to the right or left to most likely a person telling her what to do.

Continuity: On the first floor of the house, there are two staircases leading up to the second floor - from the kitchen and the living room. But on the second floor, there is only one staircase leading down. And it doesn't matter which one they use, they still end up coming upstairs in the same place.

Continuity: In later episodes, the door to the attic is located before the last set of stairs in the upstairs hallway. But in earlier episodes, there is no door; just a wall with a picture hanging.

Continuity: Whenever the door is opened, there is a small patio with plants, large enough to reasonably hold 5 standing people, however this patio doesn't exist in the opening credits.

Continuity: The window in Stephanie's and D.J'S Room is different in this episode than in all the other episodes.

Other: After Vanessa comes to the door, and they find out that DJ moved out of the room, everyone starts going upstairs, and Jesse takes Vanessa's hand so she will go with him. In the hallway, right before they enter DJ's old room, you see Vanessa behind Jesse since you can see her peach dress. But then it's like she disappears and she does not ever enter the room.

Continuity: D.J. Says Kimmy has 3 sisters but in other episodes she is an only child and in others she has a brother.

Continuity: At the end, there is a closeup of Michelle in her playpen making a funny face and putting her arms up. It cuts to a shot of the entire family (we can still see Michelle in the play pen) and her arms are suddenly down.

Continuity: When Danny says, "or all five of us will move into the garage". Stephanie laughs and in that shot from behind Danny, you can see that Danny is looking at Stephanie but in the next shot he's looking at DJ again.

Continuity: When Jesse, Joey and Danny start telling Stephanie and DJ the story while they are laying in DJ's bed, Stephanie has 2 barrettes in her hair. Watch closely and then there's only one barrette in her hair, and then when Danny puts her to bed, there are 2 again.

Continuity: When Stephanie is put to bed she is wearing two light pink barrettes. When she and DJ go downstairs she is still wearing them, but then they walk into the kitchen and the barrettes are dark pink.

Continuity: Bullit has white-wall tires when Jessie goes to get the seat covers. The tires are solid black when the car is towed back to the house.

Continuity: In episode 10 (Joey's Place) the Tanner family move Joey into the garage, redecorating it so the entire place is filled with Joey's furniture, yet in episode 12 (Our Very First Promo), it shows the characters in and out of the garage which is completely empty and back the way it was before Joey moved in.

Continuity: In the scene where D.J. and Stephanie are chasing each other, Joey and Jesse pull them apart. Then when they are head to head, D.J. has her arms around Joey's. Then, when they cut to the next shot, her arms are crossed, not even near his arms.

Continuity: The way Stephanie holds the Chinese food container changes between shots. First, she holds it by the handle, then she holds it by the bottom. This goes through the whole scene.

Continuity: When Jesse and Danny have a talk in Jesse's room, Jesse says that Michelle's second word was Da-Da, and that Michelle said that to Danny. But in episode "Danny's Home," Michelle said her first Da-Da to Jesse and Joey.

Continuity: When Joey is talking to DJ, at the end of the show. There is a hanger on the closet door behind them. The hanger keeps changing from behind the door to in front of the door.

Visible crew/equipment: You can see the wires that are holding Stephanie up when she is flying.

Continuity: When Kimmy puts Stephanie's teddybear down on the table in the shop, the bear is lying flat on its back. A few seconds later, when Stephanie talks to the bear, it is sitting up.

Continuity: When we see young Joey and Danny sitting on the bench at school together, a young Jesse Cochran comes and sits with them. But in season one Danny says that Joey and Jesse have never met before, but he's happy they get on well with each other, and even have a jingle job together. Also, Danny is I presume around 5ish maybe, more or less, years older than Jesse, and Joey is the same age as Danny, however when they are at school the young Jesse looks the same age as the young Joey and Danny.

Other: Jesse says Becky will blink once for a date and twice for no date. Becky blinks twice, and Jesse says "Break out the champagne" meaning they have a date, but didn't he just say two blinks mean no date?

Continuity: When Jesse answers the phone, he soon hands it to Joey, and you see it in Joey's hand. In the next shot, the phone is back in Jesse's hand.

Continuity: When everyone brings in the guitar-shaped waffle for Jesse's birthday, the candles say 25 but for the rest of the show he is 26.

Deliberate "mistake": Jesse is looking for his keys and thinks Michelle took them. Near the end, Joey comes home and finds the keys in the door, hands them to Jesse, who puts them in his pocket.A few seconds later Danny comes home, takes Michelle into the kitchen. Joey and Jesse exchange a couple lines and go into the kitchen, where Michelle is sitting in a booster chair at the table. The 3 guys chat for a few minutes, then Jesse is going to leave, but can't find his keys again. It turns out Michelle has them. But how did Michelle get them?? She was in the booster seat the entire time Jesse was in the kitchen and Jesse never went to that end of the room, so there's no way she could have gotten them. (Obviously done deliberately for the joke.)

Continuity: In Full House episode "Bye, Bye Birdie," at preschool when Michelle gets to wear the crown, the crown goes from the crown of her head to down at her ears and back between each shot.

Continuity: When Danny is sleeping, Stephanie wants to dance her dance. She goes and gets her tape. When she starts to dance, we can hear it's a tape (because it's the real singer who is singing), but when she is finished, it's the band who is playing the song.

Continuity: Joey's Dad says that Joey had the chicken pox when he was 3 years old but in In season 1, episode 15, 'A Pox in Our House', Joey said that he never has had them.

Plot hole: In this episode, Jesse goes to his high school reunion and then in the flashback, he rides his motorcycle into the gym and says to his girlfriend, 'I'm graduating tomorrow, what are they gonna do, expel me?' indicating that he graduated. But in season 6 in Educating Jesse, Jesse says he's a high school drop-out.

Continuity: When Danny is about to sing My Generation, it is made very obvious that he can barely bend his knees in the tight leather pants. Near the end of the song, however, he jumps up and kicks his legs back quite far.

Continuity: When Jesse and Becky are about to get married, Jesse goes sky diving because he says he hasn't done it before and is afraid he won't get the chance once he's married. In an earlier episode, a woman (from Rome?) comes to the house and tells Joey that they met when Jesse was sky diving and landed in her Alpha Romeo.

Continuity: After Jesse jumps out of the plane, his dress shirt is covered in tomato juice but when he reaches the church, his shirt is clean.

Plot hole: When Stephanie and DJ start singing that dad song in their room, Michelle come in and starts singing. After she goes, DJ and Stephanie have a talk. After two minutes, Michelle comes in, dressed like they are. How could a 4-year-old girl change to teenage clothes and fix her hair in two minutes? Danny was in his room (because he found the baking soda), and Jesse and Joey were too busy with Jesse and Becky's room to help her change.

Other: In "Stephanie Plays the Field", it looked like she had earring holes. Didn't she get her ears pierced later on in the series?

Continuity: D.J. writes "Michelle" on the chalkboard, and Michelle says "That's my name, Michelle." Then in the next scene, Michelle's name is not in the same writing, especially the last 'e'.

Continuity: Jesse is bouncing a baby on his knee and humming the theme to Bonanza, but in an earlier episode (the one were Jesse graduates), he states that he hates that song because his dentist used to hum it while he drilled his teeth so when he hears it his teeth hurt,well when he hums it in this episode his teeth don't seem to hurt.

Continuity: In the final act, when the twins are dressed in Elvis costumes, Jessie throws the red scarves to the crowd. When he picks the twins up to bow, the scarves are back. As the winners are being announced he even removes a scarf although they were thrown to the crowd.

Visible crew/equipment: When Stephanie is about to get her ears pierced and they shows their eyes close up, when they show Stephanie's, you can see the studio lights in the reflection of her eyes.

Continuity: Throughout this episode, Jessie goes from wearing 2 necklaces, to wearing just one, and finally, none at all.

Continuity: Steve sees D.J. at the hotel, runs to greet her, trips, and falls. After he gets up, they hug. In this shot, D.J.'s arms are under his arms and around his back. The shot changes, and her arms are suddenly around his neck.

Visible crew/equipment: When Michelle kicks the ball in the wrong net the team comes over to yell and make fun of her. After they walk away Michelle is left alone on the field, you can see the complete shadow of a boom mike operator and the boom mike.

Continuity: When Nicky and Alex are helping Michelle clean her room, one of the twins picks up a turtle stuffed animal and puts it in the toy chest. In the very next shot, the turtle is back on the floor.

Revealing: When Jesse and Joey are preparing the "Smash Club" for the inspector to come, Joey goes under the counter to find a bucket. You can see on the counter there is a crack which in a few seconds joey crashes his head through.

Revealing: In the scene where Denise, Derek and Michelle are throwing the frisbee, when Derek catches the frisbee, he quickly looks up at the top of the fence and his arm is way too far up to have the frisbee get to Michelle. It is very interesting that the frisbee just happens to land on top of the fence.

Visible crew/equipment: In the scene where Stephanie, Michelle, and Joey call the 1-800 number to report a problem with Michelle's Rigby, you can spot a microphone, for about a second, at the top of the screen right at the part where Michelle is saying, "That's us".

Continuity: When Denice and Michelle dance the Rhino Dance at the end, we see Joey with his hands on the hips. In the next shot, it's showing just Joey, and he's arms is crossed. It is not enough time for him to cross his arms.

Continuity: When the twins walk in after Michelle has given them their pyjamas, the twin with the red shirt is on the left. The camera then changes to Michelle and then back to the twins, and the twin with the red is now on the right.

Continuity: The address of the Tanner house is 1882 Gerard Street, but in the scene where Joey brings Roxy home for a family dinner for the second time, and they are standing outside of the front door, you can see the numbers on the house are 1892 instead of 1882.

Continuity: Rebecca says Danny had reseeded the grass, and it would take 3 weeks to grow, and that's why Jesse had to build the playset inside instead of the backyard. But later that very same day, when Stephanie throws Kimmy's shoes into the backyard, you can see the lawn has fully grown grass.

Audio problem: Whenever Michelle is playing on the harmonica, her mouth movements on it and the noise we hear don't match at all.

Revealing: I'm not sure of the episode, but it is somewhere in Season 8. The family was having dinner while Nicky and Alex were upstairs. When the Tanners were having ice cream sundaes, Jesse decides to bring some upstairs to Nicky and Alex. When he sets them on the table upstairs, you could see that they are props.

Continuity: Watch Michele's feet when she is jumping around. At first she only has one sock on, then she has none.

Revealing: Right at the end of Air Jesse, as they are showing the credits, Jesse takes a shot at the basket. He misses, and the ball bounces over the fence (note OVER the fence) and hits a wall (this is very clear if you watch closely, it bounces back off the wall). The wall Jesse hit with the ball was obviously painted to look like it was outside.

Visible crew/equipment: When everyone leaves, Jesse throws the ball and it misses to the left. He stands there and you can see a hand and a white sleeve toss the ball back.

Other: When Jesse came over to set the screen for Joey, he bumped the guy guarding Joey out of the way, which in a real basketball game, would have been called an offensive foul. In the same play, Joey traveled before taking the shot.

Factual error: When joey shot the ball behind the line, it should have counted for 2 points. Even the ref (played by Kareem Abdul Jabar), raised his hands, signaling 2 points, but they were only given 1 point.

Continuity: When Jesse takes the final shot and wins the game, Stephanie and Becky are shown standing in the bleachers in awe. However, when Jesse asks Becky and the twins about the shot, Becky claims that she was taking the twins to the bathroom, despite standing up and cheering when the shot was made.

Audio problem: In the contest, there is a little boy playing "When the Saints Go Marching In" on a trumpet. While this is going on, Michelle and her friends are shown backstage getting ready to go on next (you can still see the boy playing in the background). In this shot, the boy's finger movements on the trumpet do not match with the music we hear.
