Factual error: The escort for Colonel O'Neill is wearing both Major and Staff Sergeant rank insignia. Probably what the writers thought was a "Sergeant Major", which does not exist in the Air Force. Major is a commissioned officer, sergeants are non-commissioned officers.

Visible crew/equipment: Right after T'ealc gets stung by the bug, you can see crew members reflected in the lower right corner of the glass next to the right bank of flagpoles.

Plot hole: In episode "The Nox," where we first encounter personal shields, Teal'c says he never saw that before (pointing out that it is a new invention). Yet when Daniel and Jack attack Seth, he activates one. Seth was trapped on Earth for thousands of years. How did he get hold of that?

Redemption (1) (season 6, episode 1)

Revealing: In the scene when the timer exceeds 38 minutes, said timer is displayed in big digits on a computer screen. There is a shot of General Hammond with the Stargate in the background. There is a pane of glass between the General and the Stargate. In the shot, General Hammond turns and looks at the gate, and then the camera's focus changes from the General to the Stargate itself. In doing so, a reflection of the timer in the pane of glass is also brought into focus. However the timer is displayed correctly when it should be flipped left to right as all text is when it is reflected in either a pane of glass or a mirror.
