Stargate SG-1

Stargate SG-1 (1997)

78 mistakes

Genres: Action, Adventure, Sci-fi

Tangent - S4-E12

Revealing mistake: When Teal'c and O'Neill are passing by Juipter (after the failed missile burn), you can see a reflection in the background window of the cockpit. But the reflection is not the backside of their helmets, but instead is the front sides matted on to give the minor illusion of a reflection.

Prodigy - S4-E19

Continuity mistake: Carter and Cadet Haley enter the Stargate and we see them through the "puddle." When they come out on the other side, their positions are reversed.

Hathor - S1-E14

Revealing mistake: When Hathor turns Jack into her first new Jaffa, you can see the line between his chest and the prosthetic that gives him the Jaffa "pouch".

The Enemy Within - S1-E3

Other mistake: When O'Neill first goes to visit Teal'c in his cell the symbol of Apophis on Teal'c's head is upside down.

Family - S2-E8

Plot hole: Huge plot error: Apophis and Clorell (Skara) should not have survived the explosion in Season 2, Episode 1 (when they attack Earth with two ships). In "Family" they explain that Apophis and Clorell survived by escaping through the stargate aboard Clorell's ship moments after Daniel Jackson did the same. However, when Daniel Jackson escapes through it, Apophis and Clorell are not even on the right ship, and there is 1 second left on the C4 timer when Daniel escapes. They actually show Daniel Jackson escape, and then cut to Apophis and Clorell still aboard their ship. So apparently, Apophis was able to "ring" from his ship over to Clorell's ship, make it to the stargate room, dial an address, and escape through the stargate all within literally 1 second. Is this guy related to The Flash?

In the Line of Duty - S2-E2

Other mistake: Teal'c swipes his security card to open a door. The stripe is facing the wrong way, and he really doesn't even get it in the slot good and the light goes green and he opens the door. It is very obvious.

NKS

Show and Tell - S2-E20

Plot hole: The last two invisible aliens are in the room with Charlie and "Mother". Since both of them can see the aliens, why don't they warn O'Neil that they are there?

Orpheus - S7-E4

Visible crew/equipment: When Daniel is talking to Teal'c and the other Jaffa, at one point we can see a light reflecting screen reflected in Daniel's glasses, we can even see the silhouette of someone's arm and body in front of the screen.

Sol Parker

Orpheus - S7-E4

Continuity mistake: When Teal'c attacks the blonde Jaffa, the Jaffa has a staff weapon, but the shot changes when Teal'c hits the Jaffa and the staff has disappeared.

Sol Parker

Forsaken - S6-E18

Visible crew/equipment: When O'Neill, Carter and Quinn meet Teal'c at the ship wreckage, the camera moves to focus on O'Neill. The shadow of a boom mic on the ground follows his path.

The Gamekeeper - S2-E4

Continuity mistake: You hear "chevron four encoded" but the third chevron lights up.

Family - S2-E8

Other mistake: When Teal'c shoots Rya'c with the zat, it is still closed.

Cor-Ai - S1-E16

Revealing mistake: When Daniel is talking to Teal'c in the jail cell, you can see a camera light reflected in Daniel's glasses.

Sol Parker

Children of the Gods (1) - S1-E1

Factual error: The escort for Colonel O'Neill is wearing both Major and Staff Sergeant rank insignia. Probably what the writers thought was a "Sergeant Major", which does not exist in the Air Force. Major is a commissioned officer, sergeants are non-commissioned officers.

wickeddoll

Threads - S8-E18

Continuity mistake: Jacob Carter repeatedly mentions blending with Selmak 4 years ago, placing it in Series 4 (each season constitutes a year - when Carter leaves the SGC to join Atlantis at the conclusion of season 10, she talks to Teal'c about how they have spent 10 years together). However the blending occurred in Series 2 (6 years ago).

Secrets - S2-E9

Continuity mistake: When O'Neill and Carter arrive at Washington, Carter says "Don't worry, Sir. These were my old stomping grounds." O'Neill replies with "I'm sorry to hear that." But later when the reporter approaches O'Neill in the bar the recording says "My condolences."

Secrets - S2-E9

Factual error: When O'Neill throws the knife at the system lord at the end, the knife is spinning in the wrong direction.

Bane - S2-E10

Visible crew/equipment: Just after Jack says "Whoa, did you guys hear that?" a person in yellow is visible in the background (either in the building, or as a reflection in the window).

Crystal Skull - S3-E21

Continuity mistake: Daniel's interaction is inconsistent across the episode. Initially, Daniel emerges through the Stargate with no ripples in the event horizon or audible noise. Then he walks down the metal ramp making noise with each footfall. Later in the episode he returns through the Stargate with an audible noise and ripples in the event horizon. He remained "out of phase" for the entire segment of the episode.

Disclosure - S6-E17

Plot hole: Senator Kinsey references the Foothold incident from season 3, yet only a few episodes before it was revealed that Kinsey could never have known about it because it was covered up under presidential orders and he especially was not in on it.
