CSI: Miami

Stalkerazzi - S2-E15

Plot hole: The photographer who found the dead guy (Stalkerazzi) told Horatio that he was chasing a black Cadillac Escalade that was chasing the Stalkerazzi's car. He also said that he got stuck behind a truck and that when he finally caught up the Stalkerazzi was dead and there was no sign of the black Escalade. Throughout the rest of the episode nobody does any looking into the black Escalade, asks suspects if they own one or even mention it again. No investigation of the truck that the photographer got stuck behind was shown either. In the same episode Speed tells a cop, while in a tree looking into someone's yard, that they go in through windows if need be to close a case. This is totally inconsistent with the rest of the show and the law. They are always careful about getting search warrants and doing things By the Book.

You May Now Kill the Bride - S6-E14

Continuity mistake: When Calleigh and Ryan are in the lab discussing the diamond, Calleigh takes her earring off, but when she says, "The molecular structure of carbon makes it one of the hardest surfaces on Earth", her earring is back on. Then she scratches the glass with the earring she took off.

Going Under - S5-E2

Continuity mistake: Throughout the second half of the broadcast, Calleigh's hair switches back and forth repeatedly between a very straight part toward her left side, and a part that curves toward the center of her forehead. It looks like she changes her hair comb every time she dons her lab jacket.

The Score - S4-E12

Continuity mistake: In Episode 4-12 "The Score" When Frank is standing over the body of Paul Sanders and Alex is checking him out, as he talks to Heratio he has something on his right cheek that looks like a large pimple or covered bump. In the next scene when he is interviewing Heather Larkin in the police station there is nothing on his cheek.

Dead Air - S4-E21

Revealing mistake: Season 4, episode 21: "Dead Air". At the start, when Horatio looks at the call details, it very clearly reads "no sim card inserted" at the top of the screen. Quite hard for the accidental recipient of the call to have a working phone without a sim card...

Jon Sandys

Born To Kill - S5-E24

Continuity mistake: The time sequence in the beginning is very screwy. The victim and her friend are partying inside and it is dark outside. The streetlights go out and the inside lights in the building go off. As the girls come out of the building, it is daytime. Seconds go by, then it is midday. As the girls talk to Mr. Biker/Murderer in the close-ups, the sun is in front of them and their butts are in the shade. In the zoom-out shots, their butts are in the direct sunshine.

No Man's Land - S5-E14

Other mistake: When Eric is shot in the head they show you in slow motion him going down, he was shot in the left back of the skull, their would have been some blood spatter on the car and there was none.

Boobra

Triple Threat - S5-E18

Continuity mistake: The real estate mogul is shot on an upstairs balcony. He falls face first and flips over a rail with his head toward the house. He lands on his back on an ice sculpture. When he's shown, his head is facing away from the house. He would have to turn 180 degrees while falling to land in this position.

Randy DeShong

Bang, Bang, Your Debt - S6-E4

Plot hole: Delko is rummaging in Speedle's locker. Why would Speedle still have a locker, considering he's been dead 3 years? Even if they couldn't allocate it to someone else, why are his personal effects (e.g. his wallet) still in there? Shouldn't these have been returned to his family?

Andy Benham

Fallen - S9-E1

Factual error: After Horatio shoots out a window in the lab everyone starts waking up immediately, it would take much longer than one second for the gas to leave that size of a room and the people's systems.

Reality Kills - S9-E6

Character mistake: Natalia professes not to know why the Statue of Liberty is green. The hue is the result of the natural oxidation of the statue's copper skin, a chemical reaction it's impossible to believe the crime lab's resident expert in chemistry doesn't know.

Divorce Party - S7-E17

Continuity mistake: During the intro of the episode. Trent/Roger is hanging in the gazebo, and the M.E. is examining the body. In one shot Calleigh is talking to the party thrower and as you look over his shoulder you see the back of the M.E. examining the mouth of the man and the front of the dead body. Next shot you see M.E. examining the mouth again. Next shot the hung dead body is turned almost with his back to Calleigh, with M.E. still examining the body around its shoulders. Next shot the body has turned again and is facing Calleigh. (00:02:00)

Point of Impact - S8-E8

Plot hole: The mother lets her daughter drive because she forgot her glasses inside the restaurant and cannot see to drive. This only makes sense as a means to move the plot forward because if she was still at the restaurant (which she would've had to be because she couldn't have driven elsewhere without her glasses) then she would've just gone back in to get them rather than let a 14 year old drive.

Tunnel Vision - S6-E18

Continuity mistake: At the beginning of the episode, we see the red car falling entirely into the hole, none of the parts are out of it, but, a few shots after the CSI team has arrived, the back of the car is now out of the hole. (00:02:15)

Sgt_Malarkey

Show Stopper - S8-E12

Revealing mistake: When Phoenix bursts into flames on stage during her concert, the burn proof suit the stunt person is wearing (dressed as Phoenix) can be seen (her legs are very thick and her knees have deep wrinkles as well as the suit hem at her ankles can be seen).

CuriousKid1

MIA/NYC – NonStop - S2-E23

Horatio Caine: Mac, I have a sixteen year old girl who is suddenly without both parents. I have promised her peace of mind.

Mac Taylor: We got a deal.
