CSI: Miami

Rampage - S4-E24

Other mistake: During the scene (towards the end of the episode) when Horatio's young wife Marisol dies, there are two worthy mentions. First is when we see Horatio walk into Marisol's room, there is a doctor present but the two do not speak. Horatio speaks to Marisol at the side of her bed and they joke about their supposed date later that night, and her speech seems fine. A few seconds later while holding her hand, we hear the "flat line" and Marisol passes away. About two seconds after we hear the flat line, the camera angle shows Marisol still turned toward Horatio, her chest still moving to breathe. A split second after that though, the camera angle now shows Marisol face up in the bed, presumably dead. Second issue and perhaps most importantly - Marisol was young, and a gunshot victim who had been in stable condition just the day before. Even if her condition had turned more critical, it seems almost impossible that as soon as she flat lined, there still would not have been immediate resuscitation attempts or calls for a resuscitation team, especially with a doctor who was already in the room.

Kill Switch - S5-E23

Other mistake: In episode "Kill Switch" it states that Jason Billings died from a broken neck, it shows Tony Decker kicking him in the face snapping his neck. Jason then tries to claw his way up onto Tony's deck leaving the scratches and blood and getting the splinter under his nail. This wouldn't have been possible since he would have already been dead.

Boobra

Slaughterhouse - S1-E8

Other mistake: In the flashbacks of the crime, the surviving toddler continually walks through the blood, making perfect little 'blood footprints' all over the house, and a trail leading into the back yard. Accompanying him walking around is a sound effect implying that the feet in the toddler's footed pj's are made of cloth...acting like a sponge...unfortunately, not only would the footprints not be perfect and long lasting, but the pj feet were plastic.

Show generally

Other mistake: Every time they use Nikon DSLR you see how it looks when you look inside camera's viewfinder. And it's wrong. Nikon viewfinders don't have 9 focus points (I've checked at www.dpreview.com). Almost every time they shoot photos ranging from 13 to 15. Biggest number they shot was 17. Sometimes they shoot 13, 14 and then goes 13 again. Numbers are wrong also because it should represent how many shots are left to take, not how many you have shot.

No Man's Land - S5-E14

Other mistake: When Eric is shot in the head they show you in slow motion him going down, he was shot in the left back of the skull, their would have been some blood spatter on the car and there was none.

Boobra

Shootout - S3-E12

Other mistake: When Valera hands Ryan the results from her comparison of the nanny and the baby the results list XY (male) for the sex chromosomes instead of XX (female). (00:32:30)

High Octane - S5-E7

Other mistake: When the guy's head is cut off, his arms are up in the air next to his head. Yet his head is sliced clean off while his arms remain intact. And they would not have gone slack and fallen down after his head was cut off because they are right next to his cheeks (and the car was moving way too fast to allow for that anyway).

Stiff - S10-E2

Other mistake: The hotel manager is charged with negligent homicide because he was using propane without the additive, but the victim was knocked unconscious. The additive wouldn't have made a difference.

Mommie Deadest - S8-E22

Other mistake: When Boa Vista and Wolfe find the blotch of red marker ink under the tape from the bat it's a solid big red blotch, they determine it was transfer from the killer's hand. Then they show Cody holding the bat and he only has a small red smear on his hand, not even close to the amount needed to leave that kind of stain on the tape.

Game Over - S3-E18

Other mistake: When the guy towing the boat at the beginning gets cut off by the black car, we see and hear him slam on the brakes, but the image we see shows no smoke from the tires, and the shot changes to when he's actually braking and the smoke appears. Additionally, when the other car T-bones him, we can hear both that car's tires screeching from braking as well as the engine revving from acceleration.

Knever

Delko for the Defense - S8-E11

Other mistake: Horatio: "Eric, the forensics expert cannot get cold feet." There was absolutely no reason for Eric to be nervous. IF he'd been a CSI all this time, he would be in court testifying about his evidence on a regular basis. CSIs ARE the forensics experts.

Chairman Meow

Going Under - S5-E2

Continuity mistake: After Calleigh's Hummer is hit from the rear, it is shown going into the water with no visible damage to the front of the vehicle. After the first commercial break it is being pulled from the water with a dented and buckled hood.

Answer: Earlier in the episode, Horatio tells Mac that Penrod was seen in Tribeca getting his leg set, only to bolt when he learned a nurse wised up the cops. Caine and the NYPD probably got Penrod's address from the hospital.
