In this episode, one of the criminals is Shawn's half-brother, but he is never mentioned again. [It is obvious that Shawn is not very close to his half brother and only feels the need to defend him because he's family. So it is not suprising that they go their separate ways. Besides it is possible, maybe even likely, that his brother is sent away to reform school or prison later on.]
In this episode, Amy says that Frankie's father has the first name Francis. But in The Thrilla' In Philla', Mr. Feeny says it's Leslie [In The Thrilla in Philla, it is implied that Frankie's dad doesn't want anyone to know that his first name is Leslie. Francis is probably his middle name, which he would use instead if he found his real first name so awful.]
In the episode where Shawn and Cory find out about Turner's pop quiz, they are reading Of Mice and Men. In this episode, Eric is asked to turn in a paper on the same book. Very rarely will a school teach the same book in 7th grade and 12th grade literature [Mr. Feenie asked Eric to turn in a paper from years ago. He had never turned it in. It wasn't current material.]
When Shawn is reading Mr. Feeny's diary, he says that Mr. Feeny called in sick to his class in 1961 to go to the cabin. However, in Seven The Hard Way, at Feeny's retirement party, it says: MR. FEENY BELOVED TEACHER 1964-2006. 1961 is three years before '64 [In "Seven The Hard Way" Mr. Feeny's retirement party was an imaginary thought. It's not likely everything would be correct in an imaginary thought.]
In this episode it is said that Mr. Feeny missed a day in 1961, but in "I dream of Feeny", it is said that he has never missed a day [In "I dream of Feeny" Shawn said "I hear he hasn't missed a day since WWI" That was not a literal statement considering the fact that Mr. Feeny couldn't have been in school during WWI and Shawn couldn't know if he missed in 1961 because he wasn't born yet. It was just a joke.]
Mr Feeny's office is the same room used as the janitor's closet in "Janitor Dad" [This isn't a mistake. In almost every tv show they use the same room for something different.]
When the 3 kids spill the milk, Chet comes out of a door marked "Custodian" but in earlier episodes that door was marked "Girls" for the Girls bathroom [Chet does not come out of a door marked "Custodian" in this episode.]
When Cory tries to regain the curls in his hair by putting rollers in it after the straightener ruined it, it turns into a huge Don King-like afro afterward. How in the world did Cory's hair get that long when all he had from the get-go was short curly hair? [It's a joke.]
In this episode, they say they've always had their aluminum tree, but in previous episodes, they have a regular green Christmas tree. [In real life when people say "always" they almost never literally mean "always"; they mean they've done it enough times so it's part of a routine now. Just because they said "always" doesn't mean they've literally always used aluminum, it just means it's a tradition for Christmas that they've done for awhile.]
In all the episodes there are stairs in the kitchen and in the living room. In this episode though, the hallway is shown, and there is only one pair of stairs. [They only show the hallway from one angle. The stairs could be on the other side of the hallway.]
In the flashback, Cory refers to Topana as his future wife. But in all of season 1, Shawn and Cory ridicule Topanga. [They did, but if you watch the episode A Long Walk to Pittsburg, Cory states that he and Tapanga were friends until Eric started making fun of him for being friends or "loving" her. Thats were the ridiculing began.]
I think this is the episode were Shawn and Topanga have to kiss for the movie but when they do Cory says that their kiss had to mean something and that you can't have a kiss without it meaning anything,so how come in an earlier episode when he went to that ski lodge and kissed that girl he kept telling Topanga it didn't mean anything. [Cory is extremely upset that his best friend kissed his girl friend. Of course he isn't going to bring something up that would make it seem like he was over reacting. He doesn't bring up the kiss at the ski lounge because he doesn't want to make it seem like the kiss Shawn and Topanga shared was fine.]
If Eric told the hotel that Cory and Topanga were the Peterman's, then how did the band know what song to play when Amy sang her song to Cory, assuming that the Peterman's would not have the same song? [It's possible that Amy had a moment to talk to someone in the band and ask them to do a certain song, even if it wasn't shown.]
In this episode, Shawn says that his mom left home when he was 9, but in the early seasons, his mom is still home, and takes off during season 2 or 3, when Shawn is around 14 or so. [In the episode Angela's Men, in season 7, Shawn tells Angela's father that his mother left him and his father twice. She left when Shawn was nine, then came back and left again.]
