Updates: Updated recently Series 2 Updated recently Series 4

Fifteen Minutes of Shame (series 2, episode 12)

Mistake Continuity: The bush that the artist is painting in the pre-credits scene changes between shots.

Mistake Factual error: Right at the end, when Peter takes out the Bible, the front cover is on the wrong side, i.e the back.

Let's Go to the Hop (series 2, episode 14)

Mistake Other: When Peter is dancing to his musical number on top of the table, his head continually shrinks until the end of the shot, where his head is around a third of what it was originally.

Mistake Continuity: In the scene where Peter and Lois are "getting dressed", the candles in the background switch from having candle holders to not having candle holders.

Dammit Janet (series 2, episode 15)

Mistake Continuity: When Stewie is building with blocks, you first see a pyramid with three blocks on the bottom and two on the top. The shot changes, and he puts two more on the top, near the edge. When the shot changes again, suddenly there are five blocks on the bottom, six on the second layer, and two on the top near the middle. The letters and pictures are also all different.

Mistake Continuity: When Stewie is in his room talking to Rupert and himself out loud about Janet we see that Rupert is on the left side of Stewie's pillow. When the camera pans over to Brian who overhears Stewie's musings, after Brian makes fun of Stewie the camera pans back and Rupert is gone. There is also a quick tete-a-tete on the color of Janet's eyes and the final shot is on Stewie and his crib and yet no Rupert to be found.

There's Something About Paulie (series 2, episode 16)

Mistake Continuity: In the scene where Peter is outside the cinema waiting for Big Fat Paulie, he has a tie on, however when he is in the cinema walking up the aisle, it's gone. When he gets out again, he has it on.

Mistake Plot hole: If the groom didn't know who Lois was but had a picture of her, how could he have known that she was at the wedding so he could place the bomb in the blue sedan? If he had put the bomb in their car while they were still at home, they both would have been blown up. So this means he placed the bomb in the car at the wedding. He didn't know however that Lois was there until the end, where he caught up with them and told them not to start the car. Had he known earlier, he wouldn’t have been arguing with his bride about the hit occurring during their honeymoon.

Mistake Factual error: When Lois asks to speak to Peter in the other room after sitting down for supper with Paulie, the door they come out of is where the front door is all the time not the kitchen.

Mistake Continuity: In the scene where Peter is showing Cleveland his new car, the first shot shows a car that resembles a VW Beetle. In the next shot the car resembles a Mercedes CLK.

He's Too Sexy for His Fat (series 2, episode 17)

Mistake Continuity: In the scene where Stewie is eating chocolate cake, he shoves his head in it and covers himself in cake. However when Peter walks in after having liposuction, all the cake has disappeared and Stewie is now completely clean. The bowl of grapes on the table is also gone.

Mistake Continuity: When Peter is in the grocery store talking to the Beautiful Peoples Club member, at one point Peter tilts his head, and his glasses disappear.

Mistake Continuity: Stewie gets progressively fat throughout the entire episode, but in the last scene he is thin again.

E. Peterbus Unum (series 2, episode 18)

Updated this week Plot hole: The gas, electricity and water to Petoria have all been cut off, and there is no food in the house, yet all of these things are available and in use later at the big party attended by various world leaders.

Updated this week Factual error: Peter holds a huge party in Petoria, attended by Slobodan Milošević, Saddam Hussein, Muammar al-Gaddafi, Fidel Castro, Manuel Noriega, Mao Zedong, and Ayatollah Khomeini. Now, the last two had the additional problem of being dead (and Noriega was in prison), but how did they all get into Petoria while it was under blockade? There was nowhere to land a helicopter in Peter's garden, even supposing the US Air Force would let one land.

Mistake Continuity: When Ulysses S. "Griffin" is chugging beer with Robert E. Lee, Ulysses wins. When he says "How's that Robert E. Lee," he puts the beer glass on his head. After Robert says, "Okay no more slaves, but we still don't have to read books," the glass is in Ulysses' hand. In the next shot it's on his head again.

The Story on Page 1 (series 2, episode 19)

Mistake Continuity: During the scene where Chris walks into a hardware store, the antennae on the control on the back of his head change from straight to curled to straight again.

Mistake Continuity: Peter and Luke Perry go into Peter's house, and sit down. The door is open when they sit down. In the following close-up of Luke Perry, the door is closed, with no evidence of anyone, or anything, closing it.

Mistake Continuity: When Stewie is just about to fly into the fan in the Griffin's living room, having just attached the antennae to Chris, a green balloon appears on his back with the other three balloons.

Mistake Continuity: Stewie takes the card from the predictor machine in his left hand but on close up it's in his right hand.
