Dammit Janet - S2-E15

Continuity mistake: When Stewie is in his room talking to Rupert and himself out loud about Janet we see that Rupert is on the left side of Stewie's pillow. When the camera pans over to Brian who overhears Stewie's musings, after Brian makes fun of Stewie the camera pans back and Rupert is gone. There is also a quick tete-a-tete on the color of Janet's eyes and the final shot is on Stewie and his crib and yet no Rupert to be found. (00:07:20)

The King Is Dead - S2-E7

Continuity mistake: During the end of Peter's "revised" version of "The King and I" right after the scene where Brian and Peter kung-fu fight, the scene transitions to the next scene where a bunch of girls with bikinis on are surrounding Peter. During the transition, a girl appears out of nowhere. She is blonde and is leaning on Peter. (00:19:10)

From Method to Madness - S3-E18

Continuity mistake: When Simon is working with Stewie in his "The Life Cycle" exercise, there are three children behind him: a redhead with freckles, a blonde with glasses, and another blonde. However, after Simon turns around and says, "Any comments?", there is a wide pan of the kids in the class, and the three kids have completely disappeared.

Underage Peter - S14-E14

Plot hole: They're in the Clam complaining that they can't drink when they make the revelation that Brian can because he's technically 56. But Quagmire should be able to drink, as in a much earlier episode, he's revealed to be over 60.

Upvote valid corrections to help move entries into the corrections section.

Suggested correction: Quagmire considers the rest of them to be his best friends. He isn't drinking because they can't drink. He is complaining because since his friends can't drink - he won't drink, so he is still pissed.

It's still a plot hole considering Quagmire's age. I think the writers messed up big time.

You make a good point, but it's awkward to be that one person who is drinking while surrounded by people who can't. So, I understand the correction that was submitted above. Because his friends are not drinking, he now feels that he can't.

It's 100% a mistake. Quagmire simply would buy them alcohol the same way Brian did when they realized he could.

Barely Legal - S5-E8

Connie: You know, Meg, there's no dogs allowed. So, you're going to have to leave. But Brian can stay.
Brian Griffin: You know, Connie, I think I have this theory about why you're such a bitch.
Connie: Excuse me?
Meg Griffin: Brian, let's just go.
Brian Griffin: No, no, no, no, no, no. Hang on a minute, Meg, hang on. You see, Connie, you're popular because you developed early and started giving handjobs when you were twelve. But now you can't stand to look in the mirror because all you see is a whore. So you pick on Meg to avoid the inevitable realization that once your body's used up by age nineteen, you're gonna be a worn out chalky skinned burlap sack that even your own stepdad won't want. How is that? Am I in the ballpark?
[Connie runs off crying].

Trivia: A Quahog is another name for a clam, thus all the jokes and places in town (like the drunken clam bar) the show makes reference about.

Brian Sings & Swings - S4-E19

Question: In this episode Meg pretends to be a lesbian, when she calls herself a 'mega lesbian' it shows four other 'mega lesbians' singing something on deep voices. What song are they singing? Is it a real song?

strikeand

Chosen answer: It's a real song called "Elvira". Originally by Dallas Fraizer in '66, however, this version seems to be the Oak Ridge Boys cover version. However, the mega lesbians skip the verse and just sing the chorus after the opening line.
