Continuity: The lamps on either side of the door to the house are not there in some scenes - most noticeably in the opening credits, but in other scenes they are there.

In the scene where Mrs. Doyle is telling Ted about the profanity in the book, several of the swears were not in the original script but were introduced by Pauline McLynn during filming.
