My Mirror Image (2) - S6-E1

Continuity mistake: S6-E01. When Perry is lecturing the interns, the sweat stains on his shirt change between shots. For example, when we first see him there is no sweat around the collar, but in close-ups there is sweat around the collar.

My Cake - S4-E6

Revealing mistake: When Dr. Cox is duct-taping Dan to the bathroom wall, you can see that the tape across Dan's forehead is already stuck before Cox sticks it.

My Boss's Free Haircut - S4-E20

Revealing mistake: When Carla and Elliot are walking through the graveyard, Elliot falls into an open grave. After she has fallen off the bottom of the screen, you can see her ankle flick up in the bottom of the picture, showing that she actually just fell down on the floor during shooting.

Her Story - S4-E5

Continuity mistake: When Kelso swaps Carla and Turk's coffee mugs, the handles are both facing towards the camera. In the next shot, they've moved round with no-one having touched them.

My Sacrificial Clam - S1-E21

Continuity mistake: After JD has done the "Eliott got some booty" song they both walk through a door, a patient in a red dressing gown then walks past. He wasn't there before they started walking and wouldn't have had been able to get there in that amount of time.

Cybermoose

My Cabbage (1) - S5-E12

Continuity mistake: Season 5-12 "My Cabbage": When Cox is explaining about the importancce of his "Clicky-top pen," he clicks it several times with his index finger. When the shot changes to over his shoulder, he is now clicking it with his thumb.

Guy

My Nickname - S1-E10

Continuity mistake: When Dr Cox goes to speak to Miss Tracy, he walks past the nurses' station where the clock reads around quarter to 12. The same clock is viewable behind him once he is in Miss Tracy's room, and the time now reads around half past 9.

My Screw Up - S3-E14

Other mistake: Ben snaps the shutter twice on his camera, With out taking out the print from the first snap. So the picture he's holding of J.D. in the bushes should have been a double exposure. (00:02:30 - 00:03:00)

His Story II - S3-E18

Continuity mistake: In the beginning of the episode you see JD walking through the hospital with a huge pile of files in his hands. He see the women with the big breasts and looks after her until he sees her butt. The camera changes to JD where he is making a face in disgust. Look at the files. A few files from the top moved and it looks like they are about the fall off. JD turns around and the next shot is again at JD after he has turned around. Look at the files again. The seemed to be in perfect order, with all the files piled neatly on top of each other.

My Rule of Thumb - S3-E10

Continuity mistake: The first time Turk and Cox are talking in the gym, watch the man on the machine behind Cox. During the first shot of Cox, the man's face is obscured by the pulley for a pull down bar. Cut to Turk then back to Cox and the pulley has moved enough so that the man's face is now visible. Cut to Turk and then back to Cox for the third time and the man's face is blocked again. The viewing angle of Cox is the same each time so it is not a camera angle difference.

Guy

Elliot: Dr. Cox, does this lipstick make me look like a clown?
Dr. Cox: No, Barbie... It makes you look like a prostitute who caters exclusively TO clowns.

My Cake - S4-E6

Question: What exactly was the point of Cox taping Dan's head to the wall? It just seemed odd and random to me.

Answer: Dan was drinking beer and Cox feared that Dan might get so intoxicated he would fall asleep and drown in the tub.
