Continuity: When JD is giving Ben the bad news of his diagnosis, Ben's arm can be seen held down by his knee in one shot, and in the next it is instantly behind his head.

Continuity: When Carla, JD, Turk and Elliot are in the canteen, JD's drink changes with Elliot's by the end of the scene.

Continuity: When Dr. Cox is examining Ben, he has his hands on his face. The shot cuts to another angle and Dr. Cox's hands are by his side.

Continuity: When Elliot is crying to get her own way, her hair changes from hanging loose to tucked behind one ear, and back again.

Continuity: When Ben is spinning JD round on his shoulder, from a long cut he is spinning JD backwards, but in the closeup JD is spinning with his head facing forward.

Continuity: When JD is talking with Dr Cox and Ben in the staff room, Dr Cox's white coat keeps changing from wide open to mostly closed, and his stethoscope moves between shots.

Continuity: In the scene where Ben has several Polaroid photographs scattered on top of his bed sheets, the position of the photos changes between long shots and close ups.

Continuity: When Carla and Elliot are in the cafeteria, just after Doug sits down at their table, the top from Elliot's bottle of water moves across the table.

Visible crew/equipment: When Dr. Kelso is walking and talking with J.D. and Dr. Cox, notice the glass with the Zofran poster in back of them. You can see the camera guy, boom mic and a crew member with the white shirt walking backwards.

Continuity: Right at the end, when Dr. Cox turns to face JD there is a cup next to his right elbow, the shot cuts to further away, he gets up and storms off and the cup is no longer there.

Other: When J.D. is walking towards the hospital on his last day, it's actually the same shot of him walking towards the hospital on his first day.

Continuity: When Jordan approaches the table, Elliot is seeping her tea bag. But when it cuts to Jordan her hands are around her cup with no tea bag in sight.

Deliberate "mistake": In one of the later episodes of season 2 Turk is seen being bored in surgery and checking the patient's wristwatch to see how long they have been operating. Patients are not allowed to wear jewelry or watches during surgery as there is a VERY high risk of infection and it might kill them.

Continuity: When JD and Turk are in bed, JD has his arms out of the cover and they are bare, when Turk pulls the cover off he now has a coat on.

Continuity: When JD is done talking with Kelso, JD is holding a file in his hands. JD says "I'm the wiz kid." and it cuts to a close-up of the Janitor wetting JD's pants, but the file is no longer in his hands.

Other: When JD and Turk get coffee from the street vendor, Turk tips the cup at an angle which shows they are empty as it doesn't spill.

Continuity: Carla, Laverne and Dr Cox are in the restaurant, Dr Cox is in front of Carla and behind her are two hospital staff members, Carla walks away and it cuts to Dr Cox, but the two staff members have vanished.

Audio problem: When JD borrows the green scrub bottoms, the guy lending them to him says "Don't stain them" but his mouth stays closed.

Continuity: Right at the start, two guys to our right of Jordan nod heads and walk off to the right, the shot cuts to the table and back to Jordan and the same guys are back (and this time walk off in opposite directions).

Continuity: Dr. Kelso sets his water bottle down twice while talking to Turk.
