Plot hole: In this episode Ted claims he lost his hair in 8th grade (and was subsequently able to help his junior high girlfriends friend rent a car). But in Season 1, Episode 8 "My Fifteen Minutes" Ted tells Dr Kelso that when he started as the hospitals legal counsel he still had his hair.

My Kingdom - S2-E19

Continuity mistake: When J.D lends his nasal spray to Doug in the final scene Doug returns the spray to J.D after putting the cap back on. In the very next shot as J.D says "Don't bogart my nasal spray", J.D uses the spray without putting on the cap, and you can see the cap placed on Doug's tray.

My Musical - S6-E6

Continuity mistake: Carla and Turk's song and dance, "For The Last Time I'm Dominican", was filmed a couple of months later than the rest of the episode because actress Judy Reyes, who plays Carla, was recovering from a broken hip at the original time of shooting. Stephanie D'Abruzzo, who played the patient, was brought back in to film the scene; her hair is noticeably longer during the "Dominican" song than during the rest of the episode.

My Transition (1) - S5-E24

Continuity mistake: Season 5-24, Episode: My Transition (1). The first time we see J.D. and the flyer about his deck, the flyer has a picture of J.D. looking straight ahead smiling and the writing on it reads "Old? Gay? Like Decks?" After J.D. rips the flyer off and shows it to the janitor, the picture of J.D. has changed to him giving a thumbs up and the writing has also changed to "Come and Chill at my big gay deck."

My Fruit Cups - S2-E8

Character mistake: Throughout the series, JD and Turk are shown to be major sitcom geeks. At one point in the episode, JD says to Turk he Marcia Brady'd his ass, and explains what it means. Turk responds along the lines of "Yea, I know. 'Marcia Gets Creamed' Season 5 episode 3. Don't ever question me about The Bunch!" 'Marcia Gets Creamed' is season 5 episode 10. Episode 3 is 'The Elopement'. Not a mistake a couple of geeks would make.
