Revealing: In the episode with Raymond's diary, Marie makes like she is reading from Raymond's diary, however from the angle that she's holding it, it's obvious that there's no writing on the page except for a standard header on every page. Raymond also doesn't write anything when she asks him to amend the entry.

Continuity: In the episode when Ray gets Debra To kill a Mockingbird, Frank says "I killed a bird once." But in the thanksgiving episode Frank gets mad when Amy's parents kill the bird and says he would never kill an innocent creature.
Continuity: On Ray's house, the small window at the base of the stairs is not seen in the outside view typically shown before and after commercial breaks.
Continuity: Throughout the series when the exterior of Ray's house was shown there are steps leading to the front door. In one episode Ray's mother drives a car through the wall and when she drives off there are no steps. Where did they go?
Continuity: In "The Suitcase" Ray says he bought wooden spoons and forks. In other episodes the spoons and forks are metal.
Continuity: The exterior of Ray's house does not fit with the interior, even before Marie drives through the front of the house with the car. The windows are in the wrong places and the door placement is off.
Continuity: In "The Finale" when the entire family is sitting around the table, Marie places syrup on the table twice.
I Love You (season 1, episode 2)
Continuity: Debra is sitting up in bed holding a magazine and talking to Ray. She quickly puts the magazine down in her lap as she says something to Ray but then in the next shot, she's holding the magazine up again.
Continuity: During Ray and Frank's discussion on saying "I love you" in the bathroom, the grout design on the wall and the towels in the closet behind Frank change back and forth.
Standard Deviation (season 1, episode 4)
Continuity: Ray offers to rub Debra's feet instead of doing another chore. He takes her black socks off and throws them on the floor, under the table. The socks can be seen for a few shots, in the same spot, after Robert comes in. At one point, however, one of Debra's black socks can be seen on the couch in the middle, and in the next shot, the sock has been removed.
Your Place or Mine? (season 1, episode 7)
Visible crew/equipment: When Ray tells Frank that they have to talk and Ray goes to sit down, visible camera equipment can be seen for a second at the top of the screen.
Turkey or Fish (season 1, episode 10)
Factual error: It's Thanksgiving and Ray and Frank want to watch football. Ray's Mother In Law changes the channel to the Macy's Thanksgiving Parade. But these programs are not on at the same time. The Parade always ends at about noon. The first game starts at about 1:00 and the second game starts at about 4:00.
The Ball (season 1, episode 12)
Continuity: In this episode, Ray says that his dad had the sex talk with him when he was 14, but in another episode, Frank talks about how he never had the sex talk with Ray and Robert.
The Gift (season 2, episode 9)
Continuity: In this episode, Frank celebrates his 65th birthday but in "Debra Makes Something Good" he says he is 64 years old.
The Checkbook (season 2, episode 16)
Revealing: When Raymond and Robert visit the ATM machine to get money out and it starts to close, they start to kick and hit it. You can see the whole wall moving as they do so.
The Wedding (1) (season 2, episode 24)
Character mistake: When Deborah wants to show Raymond's newspaper article to Frank, she calls him "Ray" instead of Frank.
The Toaster (season 3, episode 12)
Visible crew/equipment: Throughout the episode lighting reflections can be seen in the toaster, which is most noticeable in the opening and when they are at Bloomingdales.
Ping Pong (season 3, episode 13)
Continuity: When Ray is yelling at the kids for throwing his golf clubs down the stairs, two stuffed animals fall down from the shelf. After Ray is done lecturing the kids, you can see the animals are back on the shelf when it shows Raymond talking to Debra.
Continuity: During the scene when Ray and Frank are playing Ping Pong, you can see that the balls are on the floor, but in a few shots, they're not.
Continuity: During the scene with Ray and Frank playing Ping Pong, in shots showing Frank's face, his hair is pointing out, but shots from behind him show his hair is back down.
Ray Home Alone (season 3, episode 18)
Revealing: During the scene when Ray is by himself in bed, he hears a noise in the hall. He goes to see what's there, and just as he is about to go back to bed he turns the hall light off. The light goes off before he puts the switch down.
Be Nice (season 3, episode 23)
Revealing: After the "roll your eyes" scene in the bedroom, Ray walks in the house and says "Hey Hakapoo." If you look in the opened door, you can see Peter Boyles shoulder and half of his face outside the door. He was waitng for his cue.
Robert Moves Back (season 3, episode 25)
Continuity: At the end of the episode when everyone is arguing in the kitchen, the potholders next to the lasagna on the table keep changing position between shots.
Bully on the Bus (season 4, episode 13)
Other: When Ally comes home from school, and opens the door, there is brown carpet outside where grass should be.
The Tenth Anniversary (season 4, episode 16)
Continuity: In this episode, it is snowing outside but in "The Wedding Pt1" the date that they book for the reception is on the 17th of June.
Someone's Cranky (season 4, episode 21)
Other: After Ray sticks his fingers in Robert's cheerios, he runs and slips as he goes into the kitchen. You can see the rug has been wrinkled, but when Robert comes in, you can see the rug has been laid back out when he opens the door.
Bad Moon Rising (season 4, episode 22)
Revealing: In the scene when Debra is yelling at Ray, Ray falls back onto the couch and then onto the floor. You can see a small gymnastics cushion on the floor to cushion his fall.
The Walk to the Door (season 5, episode 7)
Revealing: When the family is riding to the wedding, a bright orange sign is visible in the background. A few shots later, the same sign goes by again.
Ray's Journal (season 5, episode 14)
Continuity: In the episode "Traffic School," Robert notes that when he was young during a family trip he was left at a gas station in New Mexico. But in "Ray's Journal," he says that he was left at a gas station in Arizona.
Let's Fix Robert (season 5, episode 21)
Continuity: When Robert is in Debra and Ray's kitchen, as they talk Debra holds a plate with a slice of meatloaf on it. When she finally places the plate on the table, the piece of meatloaf Ray eats is different.
Frank Paints the House (season 5, episode 24)
Continuity: Inside the kitchen, the back door is perpendicular to the sink's wall. On the outside, the door is part of one continuous wall.
The Disciplinarian (season 7, episode 15)
Continuity: During his discipline fiasco Ray sends the twins, Michael and Geoffrey, to their beds at noon. Depending on the camera angle, one twin (who lies closest to the camera) has his head atop his pillow at the middle of the bed, and in other shots that pillow is much further back near the headboard and the boy's head lies on the blanket.
The Nice Talk (season 8, episode 19)
Deliberate "mistake": In this episode, Ray tells Amy's mother that Debra no longer reads his column, although she did when they were dating "and she was wooing me." But in an earlier episode, Ray proposed to Debra in his very first column - so when they were dating, he didn't have a column.
