Audio problem: In Reaper Madness; the scene where Homer destroys the Grim Reaper with a bowling ball, Bart is pinned on the wall by the Reaper's scythe. The scythe disappears and Bart says "Cool!" but his mouth just opens up and doesn't match the word.

Continuity: In Reaper madness, there's a scene which Homer wakes up being the grim reaper, he puts the robe on at which point he is wearing a singlet. In the next scene where God turns Homer back to his regular self he is wearing his white shirt.

Continuity: When Krusty is telling his daughter that he lost her violin, keep an eye on the door of the appartment. A grey bar appears and disappears on the door underneath the "eyeglass" between shots.

Continuity: Bart's magazine appears in the second shot of him and Lisa talking, it's not in the first.

Continuity: When Homer, Lenny and Carl are in the cafeteria, and Homer is drinking beer, his chair changes from being blue, to red, then back to blue again, between different shots. Submitted by Hamster

Plot hole: In the last part of the episode, when Mr Burns is trying to convince Homer on his float to play a big prank, the timing is totally wrong. Firstly, Lisa sees the writing 'Happy Pranksgiving' on the side of Mr Burns' float way before it reaches her, and it takes Mr Burns ages to change into the Father Christmas outfit.

Deliberate "mistake": The mouth on the panda costume is in a constant smile and at no point does Homer change it, even when he is in pain. However, when he is being pulled back under the curtain the mouth is open and the mask has a frightened expression. I suppose this was done on purpose, but it's still a continuity error of sorts.

Continuity: When they are driving home Marge starts to moan at the children to quiet down. In this shot she has no lipstick. In the next shot from outside the car she has lipstick on and has it for the rest of the scene

Continuity: When the hamster Nibbles has rolled back to Skinner, it takes the lid of the ball off, and the lid lands on the ground. When the hamster is rolling away from Skinner it doesn't put the lid back on, it just leaves it on the ground, but in the next shot the lid is suddenly gone.

Continuity: When the children are sleeping in the canteen at school, Bart is resting his head on a red sweater. In the close up of him and Lisa, the sweater has now turned dark green. It's not because of the dark that we see it like that because there is a bit of light at the beginning of the next shot and we see the jumper to be dark green.

Factual error: Superintendents are the ones who decide whether or not schools should be closed for snow days, not school principals.

Continuity: When the Hamster rolls through the glass of Flanders car it breaks it near the bottom middle of the front windshield. Later on when Flanders and Homer are taking the kids home you can see the break in the glass has now moved to about halfway up the front windshield. On of the following shots it moves back to its original position and then moves back to being around the middle of the windshield. Submitted by Lummie

Audio problem: When Principal Skinner is watching the kids throw the books in the fire, someone starts to throw Huckleberry Finn, or one like that into the fire. He starts to say something like "it took me hours to........" while he says this his lips dont go with the words.

Continuity: When Homer sits down in the movie theater, all the rows are completely full, including the row behind him. When he turns around to talk to Selma, the seats directly behind him are empty. Then, when Homer turns back to the screen, the Sea Captain and Dr. Hibbert appear sitting directly behind him. Submitted by Twotall

Plot hole: Nelson Mutz is one of the person banned for life by the comic book seller. If so, why he is seen later during Tom Savini's presentation? Submitted by Dr Wilson

Continuity: During Tom Savini's presentation, the comic book seller eats a kind of cookie. Fake blood then start to flows from his mouth and he takes his t-shirt to wipes it. There are no stains on it after that. Submitted by Dr Wilson

Continuity: When Bart is trapped in the coffin, the cables leading to the Cadaver Cam TV disappear then reappear. Submitted by Hamster

Continuity: In the very beginning of the episode, Bart places Santa's Little Helper's dish into the sink and begins playing with the faucets. Marge comes in, and the bowl magically disappears from the sink and it's missing for the rest of the scene.

Continuity: When Homer is pinching Lisa with the "jealousy bug", the sign behind him changes from a gift store to an antique store.

Continuity: When L.T. Smash switches the lever to Commission from De-Commission, after that, when the shot changes, it says Ship and Museum.
