Continuity: As Marge arrives home and sees the bullet holes in the door, the shot changes to a POV shot from behind the door and you can see there are some changes in the holes. The first change is there are three bullet holes on the right hand side which are all the same distance from each other, when she enters the middle hole has moved closer to the bottom one. The other change is the large hole in the middle of the door. On the bottom right hand side its shape goes from being a little irregular to a more round shape.

Continuity: When Marge comes home after the bogeyman incident, Homer trips over a footrest. You can see Bart sitting there however his pyjama's are a dark green color when before they were a bright green color.

Continuity: In 'The Shinning,' Homer is chasing his family with an axe. They are hiding behind a curtain, and then they run outside, away from Homer, opening only one of the double doors. In the following overhead shot of them running through the snow, both doors are now open.

Continuity: In 'Time and Punishment,' the blue button on the toaster occasionally differs from being at the bottom of the lever to suddenly at the top, visible in the first shots of Homer fixing the toaster and between shots after Homer sits on the pink fish.

Continuity: In 'Time and Punishment,' in the basement, as soon as Homer puts the back of the toaster back on, two pink wires taped to the side of the toaster suddenly appear.

Continuity: In 'Time and Punishment,' Homer goes back in time, then returns, and the kitchen table has plates of food, cutlery and glasses all set out. Then when Homer is informed that Ned is the Lord of the Universe, the house starts shaking, but you can see the table is now totally clear.

Continuity: In 'Time and Punishment,' when the machine picks up the Simpsons' house, to take it to the 'Re-Neducation Centre,' the garage is on the wrong side of the house. It is on the correct side in the following shots of Homer returning.

Continuity: In 'Time and Punishment,' when Homer exits the basement, he discovers Bart and Lisa are giants, and he then screams and runs back to the "basement" - however the same door that leads to the basement seconds ago, now leads to a green -carpeted room, and the basement seems to have vanished. The door is also hinged on the wrong side.

Continuity: In 'Nightmare Cafeteria,' in the opening shot we see Bart standing on a desk in the back row. It cuts to a closeup, and he is now on a desk in the second row from the back, as well as people appearing around him, such as Milhouse, who wasn't even in the classroom in the opening shot.

Continuity: In 'Nightmare Cafeteria,' when Lunchlady Doris spills food on Jimbo, it only goes onto him. In the next shot it is also all over the table.

Continuity: At the end of 'The Shining,' the family sits in the snow, Homer holding Willie's portable TV. Later, when they're frozen, Homer is holding nothing.

Continuity: When Skinner is cooking the kids, he and the cook are chasing Bart, Lisa, and Milhouse. From the back, he has an apron tied around his neck. In the next shot, he puts on an apron.

Revealing: As Homer is signing Bart's academic alert form just before Marge starts talking to Lisa you can read the writing below the "Academic Alert" title, but the writing is completely incoherent including sentences such as "IMAEGTSIAD TSNHOJI NAMREB". Update; some of the "words" or parts of them are people's names, such as David and Allison, but backwards.

Revealing: After the buzzer goes on the final game and the crowd reacts one of the crowd members says "Tie Game.", then some woman in a red top says "What the Hell.". If you look at the woman when she moves her head you can see the nose on her face disappears.

Homer Badman (season 6, episode 9)

Other: In the scene where Marge's coat pocket bursts open, the candy flows onto the floor. However if you look to the right of her some of the candy seems to almost float above the floor. The candy's direction is completely to the right but because of the floor being angled it spreads over one woman who is standing and there is nothing there to support the candy.

Continuity: When one of the pockets of Marge's coat explodes (when Homer is stealing the rare Gummi), a huge pile of candy comes pouring out. When she bends down to pick some up, there isn't nearly as much candy there as before. There are people picking up the candy with her, but they would have to pick it up extremely fast, and they aren't.

Continuity: After Marge's left pocket rips in the candy convention, she goes to start picking up the candy when we see that the right pocket has ripped all of a sudden. When Homer and Marge start running away the pockets are no longer ripped and full of candy again.
