Slater: Remember the days Del, all us lads down at the river playing Pirates? Trigger was Long John Silver, Boycie was the shipmate...what character did I play, Del?
Del: You played the bloke that walked the plank.
Slater: Yeah that's right, I was always the bloke that walked the plank. I was in and out of that water more times than a duck's head! I always wanted to be Blue Beard!
Del: Well you should've asked.
Slater: I did, but you'd never let me!
Del: I did...once.
Slater: Oh yeah, I remember that was the day that Blue Beard had to walk the plank, wasn't it.
Trivia
The story behind why Trigger calls Rodney Dave is that apparently Roger Lloyd Pack kept getting names mixed up during rehearsals early on in the show's history. "Dave" came from David Jason when he was actually with Nicholas Lyndhurst [Rodney]. It stuck and quickly became part of the show's immense appeal. See more...
Cash and Curry (season 1, episode 3)
Continuity: Near the beginning of the episode, when Del talks about his Polaroid, there are no extras walking behind him. The shot changes quickly to Rodney, then to a wide shot of both Rodney and Del in which time the 2 extras walking in front of Vimmal have manages to walk down the stairs behind them.
Continuity: When Del is at Vimmal's house, he drops his biscuit in his tea, yet when he takes it out again it is dry.
