Season: Whole show  1  2  3  4  5  6  7  All

Updates: Updated this week Series 2

Across whole show

Mistake Continuity: When the Charmed Ones' father, Victor, came to San Francisco in episode 1-3: "Thank You For Not Morphing," his last name was Halliwell. But when he came back in the third season and later, his last name was Bennett.

Mistake Continuity: In Sight Unseen, we can cleary see Cole turn the air conditioning very cold and open all the windows so that the Prue, Piper and Phoebe can see the invisible demon, but in Oh My Goddess (1) Phoebe asks Piper why they have never invested in air conditioning.

Mistake Plot hole: In episode 1-3, 'Thank You For Not Morphing', when talking about their father, Phoebe says "He sent us birthday cards." But after that episode they made a number of references to the fact that he never sent them birthday cards, like when Piper tries to convince the others to sign Victor's card in episode 2-19.

Mistake Continuity: You'll notice in some episodes (like "Coyote Piper") that when the sisters look out of the attic window, they can see Prescott Street below, indicating that the attic window is on the front of the house. But if you look at the size and shape of this window, you'll see that there is no window like this on the outside front of the house. In addition, in "Sin Francisco," Phoebe looks out the attic window and sees the front porch from a side view. There's no structure on that side of the house to begin with.

Mistake Revealing: Throughout the series, Finola Hughes appeared as Patty, the deceased mother of the Charmed Ones. Although Patty died in 1978, she sometimes appeared in flashbacks and time-travel episodes that took place in the mid to late 1970s, and other times she appeared as a ghost. However, over the eight years of the series, Finola Hughes aged noticeably. Patty was born in 1950, so she should always have been either a young woman in her mid 20s, or an unaging ghost having died at 28.

Mistake Factual error: Considering how the sisters and Cole every now and then - especially during seasons 3-5 - find themselves in some churchyard or cemetery, it should be noted that there are no such places in San Francisco! Except for the original one at an old nunnery, from before the city was founded, and the Presidio Military Churchyard, all graves were moved in the first half of the 20th Century to the cemeteries at Colma, a few miles south of SF. This was done due to the sanitary risks in case of earthquakes, and the lack of space for churchyards downtown.

Mistake Continuity: Episode 8-5, "Rewitched": When Phoebe shows Paige her wedding ring, Phoebe's left hand moves from her right forearm to her shoulder.

Mistake Factual error: Numerous times in the aerial shots of San Francisco, the Embarcadero Freeway is visible. While the bridge did run along the San Francisco Bay, it was demolished in 1991 – seven years before the series even started.

Mistake Plot hole: In episode 8-22: "Forever Charmed," the past versions of Patty and Penny are amazed to learn that their daughters and granddaughters, respectively, are the Charmed Ones. However, both women knew the centuries-old prophecy that three sisters would eventually be born into the Warren line, and that they would be the Charmed Ones. It's conceivable that Patty, who came from a time before the birth of Phoebe, would not have thought of the prophecy at this time. Penny, however, came from after Phoebe was born, and previous flashback episodes had shown that Penny knew that the three sisters were the Charmed Ones immediately when the third sister was born, and was still convinced of the fact up until Penny's death (despite the birth of a fourth daughter to Patty).

Mistake Continuity: Episode 8-5, "Rewitched": When Dex carries Phoebe across the manor threshold after getting married, she has one arm wrapped around his neck. In the next shot, both arms are.

Mistake Continuity: Episode 8-6, "Kill Billie Vol. 1": When Paige and the reporters interrupt Piper and Leo's argument, Piper's arms move from out in front of her to her sides.

Mistake Character mistake: Episode 8-6, "Kill Billie, Vol. 1": When Phoebe talks to Dex, Dex comments "...since we've already been married and divorced..." But their marriage was annulled, which is different from a divorce.

Mistake Character mistake: In "Desperate Housewitches", Billie asks both Leo and the sisters who The Source is. But it doesn't make sense for her not to know, since she obviously knew the sisters were the Charmed Ones, and it would follow logically that she would know of all the evils they've defeated over the years.

Mistake Continuity: In "Desperate Housewitches", Paige asks how The Source was previously vanquished, but she was there both times: when the original Source was vanquished, and again when they vanquished Cole.

Mistake Continuity: Episode 8x17, "Generation Hex": When Candor interrupts the Noxon demons torturing a student at Magic School, Rondok turns around to look at him. In the following shot, he's facing the other way and turns around again.

Mistake Continuity: Episode 8x20, "Gone with the Witches": When the leprechauns are called back to the manor from Magic School, O'Brien cradles his injured arm in his left hand. In the next shot, his arm is down by his side and he moves it to his arm again.

Mistake Continuity: Episode 8x17, "Generation Hex": When Phoebe and Cupid visit the memory of Phoebe revealing she is a witch to Dex, past-Phoebe has her hands down by her sides, but then her left hand suddenly jumps to her purse strap. Not only that, but in the original episode ("Rewitched"), Phoebe's hand remained on her purse strap the entire time.

Mistake Continuity: Season 8, Episode 14, "12 Angry Zen": When Phoebe finds Paige at the manor after the demon/Zodiac fight, Paige rubs her neck with her left hand. In the next shot, it's suddenly her right hand on her neck.

Mistake Factual error: Throughout season 8 the members of the Triad wore a pentagrams on their gowns that would alternate from the point being up and point being down. They should only be wearing a pentagram with the point facing down. Pentagrams with the point facing up is the symbol for practitioners of white (good) magic while those who practice black (evil) magic is symbolized by the point facing down.

Mistake Continuity: Episode 8x17, "Generation Hex": When Phoebe hands Paige her wedding gift, the way Paige holds it changes between shots.

Mistake Character mistake: Episode 8x17, "Generation Hex": When Phoebe and Coop visit the first memory of Phoebe and Cole, Phoebe mentions that their meeting at school was the first time they met. But they actually met earlier at a crime scene after she, Piper, and Prue vanquished a Guardian demon.

Mistake Plot hole: In the first episode of season eight, the sisters cast a spell so that everyone else but family sees them as their assumed identities. But in "Rewitched", Dex and Phoebe get married, and he still sees her as "Julie"; since marriage makes them family, he should have been able to see the real Phoebe.

Mistake Factual error: Episode 8x22, "Forever Charmed": When Piper and Leo visit the future, they find their future selves playing Scrabble, and future Piper trying to play "Zankou" with an "X". Not only did she spell it wrong, but proper nouns aren't playable words to begin with.

Something Wicca This Way Comes (season 1, episode 1)

Mistake Other: The newspaper which you can see Prue holding at the end of this episode (right before she 'half-blinks' to shut the door) has something written on it like yadda yadda yadda 'Doubt Fire' yadda yadda yadda. Yep, thats right, the same newspaper from Mrs Doubtfire.

Mistake Continuity: In the scene when Piper and Jeremy are in the taxi, Piper gives him a fortune cookie. You can see her closing the box. In the next shot of Jeremy, you can see the box is still open.

Mistake Continuity: At the end of the episode the newspaper Prue is holding keeps changing from facing the camera to facing her. And as she turns to the house she drops her hand (and the newspaper) to her side but in the next shot she is holding it to her chest again.

Mistake Plot hole: When Prue wonders where the cream is, the little container thereof slides along the table to her. Then the cream drains from the container and burbles up through her coffee. However, that's completely discontinuous with how Prue's power ever worked at any other time in the next three years. The cream should have needed to leap out of the container and into the coffee, simply traveling physically across space.

Mistake Continuity: At the beginning of the episode we see a man standing in the rain in front of the sisters house. After he starts walking away, they show a completely bare tree in front of the house. The next morning when Piper is driving away, they show the same tree with leaves and flowers on it. Trees do not grow that fast.

Mistake Other: In the first episode Prue uses her powers to tighten the tie around her boss' neck as she walks down the hall, but in future episodes Prue must be looking at the object she moves with her power.

Mistake Continuity: At the beginning of the episode they show Piper running up the stairs to her house in the rain. The umbrella she has is black, with a colored ring around the edge. When she enters the house the whole umbrella has changed to colors surrounding the whole umbrella now.

Mistake Continuity: When Jeremy pulls a knife in the elevator, Piper calls him 'Joey' rather than 'Jeremy'.

I've Got You Under My Skin (season 1, episode 2)

Mistake Plot hole: In episode 1-2 ("I've Got You Under My Skin"), Alec buys Phoebe a martini at Quake. but then in episode 5-11 ("The Importance of Being Phoebe"), Cole tells Kaya that Phoebe doesn't drink. Then, in episode 5-17 ("Lucky Charmed"), Jason buys Phoebe a "Martini, Dirty" at the end.

Mistake Continuity: In the previous episode, Piper tried out for a job as a chef at a restaurant called "L'Opera Ristorante" and was hired by Chef Moore. Then in this episode, she works at a bar and restaurant called "Quake," but she talks about Chef Moore quitting and leaving her in charge of the establishment, so it's not meant to be a different place.

Mistake Continuity: When Phoebe flirts with Alec at Quake, she rests her head in her hand. In the following back and forth shots between Alec and Phoebe, her hand moves from her face to the tabletop and back again.

Thank You for Not Morphing (season 1, episode 3)

Mistake Plot hole: After the shapeshifter turned from a mailman into Andy, Prue told him about her father returning to town. Later, the real Andy came to the house, and then after a cut, he and Prue were talking about Prue's father, Victor. Andy has known Prue since high school, and therefore knows that Victor has been gone for twenty years. And since Prue only told the shapeshifter about Victor's return, the real Andy didn't know about it. So how could he and Prue have gotten onto the subject of Victor being in San Francisco, a fact that surely would have surprised the real Andy, without Prue figuring out that Andy wasn't the one she talked to earlier that day?

Mistake Visible crew/equipment: In the scene where Prue comes home and finds Andy inside the manor. There is a shot where if you look behind Andy's shoulder you can see half of the body of the director in the background in the observatory room sitting in a director's chair.

Dead Man Dating (season 1, episode 4)

Mistake Revealing: When Mark (as a ghost) and Piper leave the hotel after he asks for her and Phoebe's help, he bumps into the handrail as he walks down the steps.

Mistake Continuity: When Prue runs into Susan Trudeau at the restaurant, she asks if she's Andy's sister, only to find she's his ex-wife. But Prue knew Andy all through high school - she would have known he didn't have a sister.

The Wedding from Hell (season 1, episode 6)

Mistake Plot hole: When the Charmed Ones run up to the bedroom at the end of the episode, Prue can't find the poignard as she rummages through her black purse. Elliot, who has fallen from the bed, suddenly picks up the poignard from the ground, where it is sitting next to a black purse. The way the shot is set up, it looks as if the purse has fallen there, and the poignard fell out. But since Prue is still holding the purse that the poignard was supposed to be in, and she hadn't been to that room before, the poignard's presence on the floor is completely inexplicable.

The Truth Is Out There... and It Hurts (season 1, episode 8)

Mistake Continuity: In the teaser, the demon attacks Dr. Mitchell, killing him and also destroying his irises. His eyes turn white, and later dialogue confirms that the irises were gone from his eyes. However, when the Charmed Ones find his corpse, his eyes are open and his irises are visible.

Mistake Continuity: In this episode the truth spell is before the demons page in the Book of Shadows, but in 'Out of Sight' the truth spell is after the demons page.

Mistake Revealing: When Phoebe asks Piper what she thinks of her boss, you can see that Holly's tattoo has been covered up, because that part of her wrist is darker than her skin.

The Witch Is Back (season 1, episode 9)

Mistake Continuity: When Prue describes the way the warlock Matthew traveled instantaneously, Miranda tells the sisters that it's called blinking, and that Matthew "must have copied it from another witch." But later in the series, every warlock encountered by the Charmed Ones had the ability to blink, and it was considered exclusively a warlock ability, meaning that no witch would have had it.

Mistake Factual error: In the opening scene in Salem, Melinda Warren is going to be burned at the stake. But in the real Salem trials, no one was burned; all of the people convicted of witchcraft were hanged.

Wicca Envy (season 1, episode 10)

Mistake Continuity: At the end of the episode, when Leo and Piper are saying goodbye he reaches out and touches her face, but when the angle changes his hands are instantly back at his side.

The Wendigo (season 1, episode 12)

Mistake Audio problem: Approximately 10 minutes into the episode, the Haliwells are in the kitchen getting breakfast. While sitting at the table, Piper is heard to say "it's not, it's fine", but her lips don't move.

Secrets and Guys (season 1, episode 14)

Mistake Continuity: In this episode, Leo tells Phoebe that white lighters are sent to their charges by "a group of elder white lighters known as the founders." However, by later seasons in the series, the word "founders" was never used. The leaders of the white lighters were simply known as the "elders."

Is There a Woogy in the House? (season 1, episode 15)

Mistake Continuity: At the beginning of the final scene in the attic, the view from the window prominently features the Transamerica Pyramid. At the end of the scene, the view is completely different, showing the Ferry Building and the Bay Bridge.

Mistake Visible crew/equipment: In the scene where Prue's guests are about to leave for Quake there is a crew member visible at the door and opening the door and walking out.

That '70s Episode (season 1, episode 17)

Mistake Continuity: In this episode, the sisters go back in time to late March 1975. On the family tree it says that Piper was born on August 7, 1973. So she would be 1 and 1/2 in March 1975. But she looks at least 2 years too old.

When Bad Warlocks Go Good (season 1, episode 18)

Mistake Continuity: Prue finds Brendan, as a warlock, over the corpse of Father Austin. He runs away and she pursues him. He insists that he "didn't hurt Father Austin. [He] found him like that." Prue counters, "Before or after you turned into a warlock?" His response is, "After. When I saw what [my brothers] did to him, I was crazed. The rage turned me into a warlock." So doesn't that mean that he found Father Austin before he turned into a warlock, not after?

Mistake Continuity: When Brendon is about to sacrifice the young woman he has the tip of the dagger touching her chest in one shot and in the next shot, when Prue breaks open the door, it is about six inches above her. Also, when the victim is talking to Andy she says that she felt the tip of the knife, that he was about to drive it into her, but he was stopped by three woman.

Out of Sight (season 1, episode 19)

Mistake Continuity: After the Grimlock kidnaps the child getting the ball, Prue goes after it. But the demon opens a hole in the earth and jumps through it and it closes. Prue then reaches the spot where the Grimlock disappeared and she is surrounded by dead leaves and trees. Then it goes to another shot of Prue turning around. Suddenly the trees and dead leaves are gone and she is standing in an open area with green grass and no trees.

Love Hurts (season 1, episode 21)

Mistake Other: In this episode when Piper says the power switching spell so that she can heal Leo it switches not only her and Leo's powers, but also, Prue's and Phoebe's; however in future seasons it only affects the witches it is meant to effect.

Mistake Continuity: In this episode Leo specifically tells Prue, Piper and Phoebe not to touch the Darklighters arrow because it is poisonous however in future episodes/seasons, the Darklighter arrows are only poisonous to Whitelighters.

All of series 2 (season 2)

Mistake Plot hole: In the second season, Leo was suspended from his position as a whitelighter for a period of several weeks. But why didn't the Charmed Ones receive a substitute whitelighter during that time?

Witch Trial (season 2, episode 1)

Mistake Continuity: Right after Grams says "I Love You" to the sisters at the end, we see a close-up of Phoebe. In this shot, you can see the tear in Prue's shirt, but immediately afterwards, there is a shot of Prue where it appears to be sewn or something.

Mistake Continuity: When the book was taken, Phoebe had her necklace above her shirt, but when she ran downstairs, her necklace was underneath her shirt and then was back on top of her shirt again.

Mistake Continuity: At the spiritual place Phoebe had tan marks, but later on she didn't have any tan marks.

Morality Bites (season 2, episode 2)

Mistake Continuity: In 'Morality Bites', Phoebe has her premonition about being executed while watching a news report on a baseball player, right after she and the others punish Pratt. When she returns in time at the end of the episode, they all watch the news report first and only afterwards look out the window and see Pratt.

Mistake Plot hole: The return spell for travelling back through time is supposed to have been erased from the Book of Shadows in the future, however it is visible when Prue is turning the pages of the book and talking about the new spells.

Mistake Continuity: When Prue, Piper, and Phoebe return from the future, Prue and Piper hug Phoebe in relief. In the following shot, Piper wraps her arm around Phoebe again.

Mistake Continuity: Phoebe was the first to get out of the kitchen, then Piper followed, and last was Prue, but when we see them running to the window, Phoebe is first, then Prue then Piper.

The Painted World (season 2, episode 3)

Mistake Continuity: Phoebe had to touch both Jane and Malcolm for them to be trapped in the painting, so how come she didn't have to touch Piper and Prue for them to all be freed?

The Devil's Music (season 2, episode 4)

Mistake Continuity: After the potion is spilt, the green stain it leaves on Phoebe's skirt keeps changing both size and colour.

P3 H2O (season 2, episode 8)

Mistake Continuity: When Prue leaves Buckland's, she's wearing a red tank top, but when she arrives at Camp Skylark, her top is white. She can't have stopped to change, because it's mentioned she left the auction house and headed directly to the camp.

Mistake Continuity: When Sam is explaining how he and Patty were involved, Piper's hand jumps from Phoebe's grasp to her lap, then back to Phoebe's hands, and back to her lap again.

Heartbreak City (season 2, episode 10)

Mistake Continuity: In this episode, the Cupid needs his ring in able to "fade" from place to place but in Season Eight Coop loses his ring to a demon and he is still able to "fade" from place to place.

Reckless Abandon (season 2, episode 11)

Mistake Audio problem: Baby Matthew is supposed to be screaming his head off, when Prue levitated the contents of her purse to cheer him up. But she turns him to the camera and he is smiling.

Awakened (season 2, episode 12)

Mistake Continuity: When the ninja doll's eyes first open, they're blue. Toward the end, when he sneaks into Nathan's hospital room to stab him, his eyes are brown.

Pardon My Past (season 2, episode 14)

Mistake Plot hole: According to the family tree viewed in this episode, Penny "Grams" Halliwell was born on 6/23/1937, and her daughter Patty, the Charmed Ones' mother, was born on 4/5/1950. In addition, Patty's father Jack was born in 1930. So, according to this, Penny gave birth to her daughter at age 12, while married to a 20 year old man. That's quite outlandish, to say the least.

Mistake Continuity: On 2/17/1999, Phoebe realizes that her past self, P. Russell, died on that same date in 1924, and was the same age as Phoebe is now. According to the family tree she is looking at, P. Russell was born on 7/2/1894, meaning that she was 29 upon her death. But Phoebe was born on 11/2/1975, according to that same family tree, making her only 23 at the time of this episode.

Mistake Continuity: When Phoebe is attacked by Anton's spirit, she puts her right hand over her throat twice.

Mistake Continuity: In the scene when Phoebe and Leo return to the rest home, after she has changed places with old Phoebe, when Antoine places the amulet on her, he doesn't clasp it behind her neck, he just lays it on her. When she sits up, it doesn't fall off.

Mistake Continuity: The family tree shows that Grams died in 1968 but the sisters were all born in the1970's. Didn't Grams raise the girls after Patty died in 1978?

Mistake Continuity: In the teaser, when Phoebe physically experiences a past memory, the left strap of her bra is pulled off her shoulder. She then collapses to the ground. When her sisters find her the bra strap is back up on her shoulder.

Give Me a Sign (season 2, episode 15)

Mistake Continuity: When Piper confronts Phoebe about casting the spell to help her decide between Dan and Leo, Phoebe's finger jumps to the back of her ear, then disappears. In a following shot, her finger is now resting on her neck.

Murphy's Luck (season 2, episode 16)

Mistake Continuity: In the shot where Leo gets his wings back, his eyes are brown, usually they are blue.

Mistake Revealing: When Maggie Murphy climbs onto the ledge of the roof to jump off you can see the surface of the ledge dipping as if it was foam.

Chick Flick (season 2, episode 18)

Mistake Continuity: In the teaser, Phoebe took off her messenger bag while she was sitting in the chair talking to Prue, and she left it there when she went up to get the door. For the rest of the scene at the house, including when Phoebe and Prue ran out of the door, Phoebe was not wearing the bag. Then, when we saw them outside immediately thereafter, Phoebe was wearing the bag again.

Mistake Continuity: After Phoebe kisses Billy, she sees that the makeup over his lips has washed off and that they're in black and white again. While she applies more to him, the phone rings, Billy turns his head, and his lips are normal. In the next shot, they're back to being in black and white.

Ex Libris (season 2, episode 19)

Mistake Continuity: Charlene said that she could remember up to when she picked up the encyclopedia, however when they were retracing her steps, she couldn't remember where it was.

Mistake Continuity: After the ghost chases Gibbs out of his pawn shop, and the police arrest him, his shirt goes from being on fully to half-off between shots (particularly noticeable when Tyra's father tells him to burn in hell).

Mistake Continuity: When Phoebe is talking to the ghost in the library, the librarian goes from writing to glaring at her and back again between various shots.

Mistake Revealing: The sheet-covered body of Charlene that is being moved by the police has obviously got a head, despite the fact that she was meant to have been decapitated.

Astral Monkey (season 2, episode 20)

Mistake Revealing: When Phoebe punches Dr. Williamson, it's easy to tell that she doesn't really punch him.

Be Careful What You Witch For (season 2, episode 22)

Updated this week Continuity: When Piper and Leo confront the genie at the restaurant, the genie is eating food as fast as he can. At one point he gets a line of pasta sauce on his cheek. The shot changes, then goes right back to him only now the sauce is gone with no time for him to have wiped it off, especially since his hands are full of food.

Mistake Continuity: When Phoebe and Piper are leaving to go get Prue, Piper kisses Leo on the cheek and there is a lipstick mark on his cheek. Then the shot goes to Piper then back to Leo, and the mark has gone with no time for him to remove it.

Mistake Continuity: At the end of the episode, when Prue shuts the door magically it shows the inside of the house. There should be a doorway parallel to the front door that leads from the foyer into the dining room, but instead there is a wall.

Mistake Continuity: When Piper and Leo find the genie at the restaurant, look at the girl in the background, when Piper freezes the time, first she's talking to someone, then she's looking at a menu.

The Honeymoon's Over (season 3, episode 1)

Mistake Continuity: The timeline in the episode is inconsistent. Right after the first courtroom scene, we see the three sisters at home, and Phoebe says that "Cole was an angel in that courtroom yesterday." Later, Cole says that he regrets the criminal being let go, "today." But they are talking about the same events.

Mistake Visible crew/equipment: In the final courtroom scene when the shot is on Cole (with Leo and Morris in the background), the boom mike is visible in the top left corner.

Mistake Continuity: When Cole catches Phoebe's karate kick at her school, her foot is up near Cole's shoulder, but then moves down much lower.

Mistake Continuity: In the scene where Cole has caught Phoebe's karate kick at school, Phoebe's hands are both clutching her school books. In the following shot, her left arm is in a completely different position, and there's no reason for her to have moved it.

Mistake Continuity: When Cole gives Phoebe his card on the school campus, it dissappears and reapperes between shots.

Magic Hour (season 3, episode 2)

Mistake Continuity: In this episode, Phoebe says "Grams, you were married four times." But in "Lost and Bound," Phoebe tells Cole that Grams was married six times.

Mistake Revealing: In the attic when the sisters are talking about the "rutabaga," some of the shots of Piper are reversed, her "broken" eyebrow is on the wrong side.

Mistake Continuity: When Piper and Prue are talking to Brooke outside, Piper's arms change from being crossed to having her hands on her hips between shots.

Once Upon a Time (season 3, episode 3)

Mistake Continuity: When Kate was drawing the trolls in one shot she had a skin coloured crayon, and in the next shot she had a purple crayon.

Mistake Continuity: When the trolls attacked Piper outside P3, her bag got flung into the shadows, but in the next shot, her bag was right next to her, and in the light.

All Halliwell's Eve (season 3, episode 4)

Mistake Plot hole: In this episode we see Leo healing Morris after he lost his sight but in out of site when the Grimlocks were vanquished the kids and the blind man got their eye sight back without being healed.

Mistake Revealing: When Leo dropped the Grimlock potion, it was obviously fake when it hit the ground.

Mistake Continuity: When Piper and Prue are standing in the bedroom with Charlotte, Prue's hand moves from covering her mouth in one shot, to being by her side in the next.

Mistake Other: Approximately four minutes into the episode, two demons go to the manor. Pru catches them and "throws" them to the one side. Her arm motion would fling them to the right, but they fly to the left.

Sight Unseen (season 3, episode 5)

Mistake Factual error: In the scene where the invisible demon is entering Cole's office, the courthouse shown before the elevator is a New York City courthouse, not San Fransisco. It's confirmed by the presence of a NYC Taxi.

Mistake Factual error: When developing a photo it's first put into a developer chemical, which shows the picture up, then a stop, which stops it from developing anymore, then a fix which "sets" the photo. But in the basement, Prue puts the exposed photo into a tray with chemicals in it where it starts to develop, then into a second tray where it develops fully.

Primrose Empath (season 3, episode 6)

Mistake Continuity: When Prue was talking with the shut-in and the security guard comes up and knocks on the door you can see the the chain is on the door. When he knocks again and says he is coming in and tries to open the door the chain is off.

Mistake Revealing: At the end when Prue is fighting the demon you can tell she is holding on to her safety harness when she is in the air kicking him.

Mistake Audio problem: When Prue is at the dentist, she grabs a guy and he says, "What, what did I do?" to his girlfriend, but his lips do not move.

Mistake Continuity: When Prue is in the basement with the priest she has curly hair, but when she comes upstairs to vanquish Vinceres it is completely straight, but she definitely didn't have time to straighten it.

Power Outage (season 3, episode 7)

Mistake Continuity: When Cole drops Phoebe off at the manor after their date, Phoebe lowers her hand from Cole's face when they kiss, but then it's suddenly back up near his chin.

Mistake Continuity: During the training drill, Piper fumbles for a knife on a table in front of her. In the shot of the table, she loses hold of the knife as she pulls her hand up, but when we cut to a long shot, it is back in her hand.

Mistake Revealing: Alyssa's tattoo is visible when Phoebe leaves Cole's apartment after she fought with her sisters.

Mistake Revealing: When Astral Prue kicks Leo/Balthazar in the face during the training drill near the start of the episode, her foot misses his face yet he still reacts as if hit.

Sleuthing With the Enemy (season 3, episode 8)

Mistake Revealing: When Cole / Belthazar grabs Phoebe to use her as a hostage, you can see, very obviously, that he doesn't pull her. Phoebe actually steps in front of him willingly, despite the look of fear on her face.

Mistake Revealing: When Phoebe throws the potion at Cole's coat, the vial doesn't shatter, even though it sounds like it. Watch closely, and you'll see the purple, unbroken vial bounce off the coat and away out of shot without any of the potion touching the coat.

Mistake Other: When Piper puts the Belthazor flesh into the Belthazor vanquishing potion, she is the only one that gets "blasted" back even though she is the one standing farthest away from the stove and the potion.

Coyote Piper (season 3, episode 9)

Mistake Revealing: Prue knocked Piper unconscious in the cat fight (after the Coyote Dance), and asked Justin to carry her to the car. But when he is apparently lifting Piper up from the floor, you see Piper standing up by herself.

Mistake Other: At the beginning of this episode, Tara and Kierken are arguing and Kierken says that he could always "suck you into your little mixing bottle and start again." Then Tara says that "she has a better idea," and then she stabs herself. The life essence automatically flows out of her but the knife was still in her body. Later, the possessed business man stabs himself in front of Piper and she kneels down to see if he was okay and the essence flew into her, without the knife being removed from his body. At the end, when Leo comes down after Prue stabs the possessed Piper, he kneels over her, but the essence does not flow into him. It only flows into him after he takes the knife out of her body.

Mistake Revealing: After Phoebe has her premonition in the mausoleum, she wipes away the dust from the crypt to reveal Cole's father's name. Just BEFORE they show her wiping the dust away, you can see the letters in the shot of her leaning against the crypt.

We All Scream for Ice Cream (season 3, episode 10)

Mistake Plot hole: In episode 1-3, "Thank you for not morphing", Victor mentions that he wasn't sure that his daughters would be witches - only that there was a possibility. However, this episode indicates that Victor did know about his daughters' powers before he left the family.

Mistake Visible crew/equipment: When Prue and Phoebe are trying to pull the girl out of the ice-cream truck, in one brief shot, you can see the wires holding the girl up.

Mistake Continuity: When Victor is saying goodbye to Prue, Piper, and Phoebe, Prue's arms are folded in front of her. In the next shot, her arms are suddenly down by her sides.

Mistake Continuity: When the girls are saying goodbye to their father, Phoebe hugs him around the neck, then lowers her arms while they talk. When her father says "About anything," her left arm jumps back up to being around his neck, and in the next shot, it's down at the side again.

Mistake Continuity: When Prue and Phoebe first enter the ice-cream van, we are told that their powers don't work in this dimension, but a few minutes later, Phoebe gets a premonition from the swingset - if their powers really didn't work, she wouldn't have been able to.

Blinded by the Whitelighter (season 3, episode 11)

Mistake Continuity: When Phoebe is looking in the Book of Shadows for information about Eames, she comes across the Belthazor page, and lays the page down flat. In the following shots, the page moves to her hand, then lying down flat, then to her hand again.

Wrestling with Demons (season 3, episode 12)

Mistake Continuity: When Phoebe finds the lost and found spell for Piper, the paper the spell is written on moves relative to the top of Phoebe's keepsake box.

Mistake Deliberate "mistake": When Piper froze the demons (near the wrestling) one of the demons moved when she froze him.

Mistake Continuity: When Rasputin first lay on the couch, he was at the end of it, but two shots later he was suddenly in the middle of the couch.

Bride and Gloom (season 3, episode 13)

Mistake Revealing: When Prue talks about her relationship with Jason near the beginning of the episode, she says that she finds him to be very predictable, lacking in mystery or "savoir-faire." That doesn't make sense, though, as "savoir-faire" means "know-how." She probably meant "je ne sais quoi," that is, "I know not what."

The Good, the Bad and the Cursed (season 3, episode 14)

Mistake Continuity: After Cole kills the outlaw with an energy ball, he turns around to face Prue. In the following shot, he's facing the other way and turns around again.

Mistake Continuity: When Cole and Prue are about to shimmer to the other plain to find BO, Cole's face has not been shaved. But when they reach the other plain, his face is cleanshaven.

Death Takes a Halliwell (season 3, episode 16)

Mistake Plot hole: Unless someone else cleared out Cole's apartment, Cole/Belthazor would have been careful and smart enough not to leave behind the altar for exactly what happens in this episode.

Pre-Witched (season 3, episode 17)

Mistake Continuity: When Piper is sitting with Leo on the tailgate of the SUV, when shown from the front her hair is in front of her shoulder and ear, but from the back we see it tucked behind her ear. This switches constantly throughout the scene.

Sin Francisco (season 3, episode 18)

Mistake Continuity: When Prue talks to Piper after stopping her phone conversation, she tells her that "the Sin Balls work a lot faster than [they] thought. Once infected, the victim only has a few hours before it drives them to total self-destruction." However, this is almost verbatim what was written in the Book of Shadows. It could be easily read by the viewing audience when the book entry was shown. So all three sisters should already know this.

Mistake Other: At the start of the episode when Prue and Phoebe are walking down the street (just before they find the box), the person with the green jacket on (in the background) reaches into the homeless man's hat and just "scrapes" the bottom of it. Not putting any money in, or taking any money out - a completely pointless action.

Mistake Plot hole: After Piper and Leo lose their sins, Piper mentions that Lukas has Prue. But there's no way she could have known that, since she was unconscious when Prue was taken.

Mistake Continuity: When Prue and Piper leave to help the hostage, Piper asks Leo, "Do you think she's mad?" Her hair is in front of her shoulders. Immediately afterwards, she sits on the couch with Leo. Her hair is behind her shoulders.

Mistake Continuity: When Prue telekinetically moves the sin ball box across the street she moves it ALL the way across but when the man infected with greed goes to get the box, the box is only halfway across the street.

Mistake Continuity: During the scene where Piper is ordering merchandise from Bloomingdale's and Prue, she and Phoebe realize the "sin balls" infected them. Piper's hair constantly changes from being in front of her shoulders and behind them.

The Demon Who Came In from the Cold (season 3, episode 19)

Mistake Continuity: When Phoebe and Cole are talking about him going undercover into the Brotherhood, Phoebe's grip on her pestle changes back and forth between shots.

Exit Strategy (season 3, episode 20)

Mistake Continuity: When Prue, Phoebe, and Leo enter the kitchen to find Piper covered in watermelon, the amount of fruit on Piper changes in the next shot. Her hands also change from being supine to prone.

Mistake Continuity: When Piper accidentally destroys the clock at the passport agency, she nervously freezes with her hands near her face. In the next shot, her left hand is suddenly back by her ponytail.

Mistake Continuity: When Piper accidentally blows up the teapot, she has her hands up by her chest, in Prue's, but in the next shot her arms are down by her sides.

Mistake Continuity: Piper says she wants to go to Paris by plane not by orbing, but in the episode "From Fear To Eternity" flying was Piper's greatest fear.

Look Who's Barking (season 3, episode 21)

Mistake Continuity: When Phoebe and Prue look in the Book of Shadows for the spell to summon Belthazor, it is written with the same artistic calligraphy as the rest of the Book. But this spell was written by the sisters themselves in episode 3-8: "Sleuthing With The Enemy." As a result, it should have a handwritten appearance similar to the pages Phoebe was working on at the beginning of this episode.

Mistake Continuity: When the banshee came to the attic, she smashed all of the windows, except for some in the middle of the big window, but in the next shot that glass was gone.

All Hell Breaks Loose (season 3, episode 22)

Mistake Deliberate "mistake": When someone dies, the sisters can see their spirit, but when Piper died you couldn't see her spirit.

All of series 4 (season 4)

Mistake Plot hole: In episode 3-13: "Bride and Gloom," Prue was married to a warlock in a dark ceremony, causing her to almost immediately become evil, and this caused her sisters and the Book of Shadows to become evil as well because all of the magic is connected. In the fourth season, Phoebe married the Source in a dark ceremony, and did eventually herself become evil (as evidenced by her ability to touch the Grimoire), but the evil did not extend to her sisters or the Book. So the mistake is twofold: Phoebe did not immediately turn evil, and her sisters and the Book never turned evil.

Charmed Again (1) (season 4, episode 1)

Mistake Continuity: After Phoebe has her premonition about Paige at Prue's funeral, demonic bounty hunters show up to "eliminate" Belthazor. We see the funeral hall empty where seconds before Phoebe's premonition, there was a line of people waiting to give their condolences to the girls, Victor, Leo and Cole.

Mistake Continuity: Piper does not light the candles before she summons Grams, but in the episode 'PreWitched' (when Grams summons Patty) we see that the candles must be kept alight to maintain the connection with the dead.

Mistake Continuity: During Prue's funeral when the demonic bounty hunters attack, one gets thrown into some chairs, which knocks some down. When we see the chairs again in another shot the ones left standing and the ones knocked down have changed.

Charmed Again (2) (season 4, episode 2)

Mistake Plot hole: After Cole tells Leo, Piper and Phoebe the source has surfaced, Piper asks Leo if he can "sense Paige". Leo replies, saying no, "she's too new". But aren't white lighters meant to help witches who are just coming into their powers, which is exactly what Paige is doing?

Mistake Plot hole: Phoebe and Piper seem surprised at the fact that a white-lighter can impregnate someone, because they are dead. Piper says "how does a white-lighter get somebody knocked up?", but when she went to the future she saw herself with Leo's baby, and Leo told her that he hadn't clipped his wings.

Hell Hath No Fury (season 4, episode 3)

Mistake Other: When Piper and Paige are talking at the Social Services building, Paige talks about one of her coworkers, but in the closed captions, the speaker is mislabled "Piper."

Mistake Other: After the "dirtbag" is brought back to the manor and Piper is ragging on him, Piper gets very angry and decides to blow her husband up. Less than a minute later, Cole says "Back away slowly, Leo." Leo says "What?" and Cole says "She's becoming a fury." Then it shows Pipers hands, which now have long black fingernails, but they just suddenly show themselves right when Cole decides to show up and say she's becoming a Fury. When she blew Leo into orbs there were no long black nails.

Enter the Demon (season 4, episode 4)

Mistake Continuity: When Anling unmasks Yenlo, Yenlo's left hand is covering his wound. In the next shot, his hand is down by his side.

Mistake Plot hole: When Piper and the Zen master switch bodies and Yen Lo uses the dragon blade to steal Piper's soul, the Zen master's image is shown as a visualization of the soul, but it should be Piper's image instead.

Mistake Revealing: In the beginning of the episode, Yenlo and Anling are fighting with swords. After Yenlo says, "I'm going to kill him, Anling. And then I'm going to kill you," Anling stabs him with her sword. Yenlos' wound is very bloody, but there is no blood on Anling's sword at all.

Mistake Continuity: After Phoebe and Paige have switched bodies and Phoebe is trying to teach Paige how to levitate, Phoebe's hair switches from her shoulder to her back then to her shoulder again.

Size Matters (season 4, episode 5)

Mistake Continuity: Shortly after Phoebe frees the blonde girl from the clay, she tells her to run "before Gammill sees [them]." But Phoebe hadn't learned the demon's name at any point. Leo and Piper do find out his name, but not until later.

Mistake Continuity: Piper suggests that Paige orb in place, because the clay is still wet enough that it will collapse if she's not there to support it. But when Paige actually does orb, the clay cracks and collapses into powder as if it had been bone dry.

A Knight to Remember (season 4, episode 6)

Mistake Plot hole: Piper is initially skeptical at Phoebe's theory that the Evil Enchantress could be Paige in a past life, because Paige lacks the Enchantress' ability to summon the elements. However, Piper knows that in Phoebe's past life she had a pyrokinetic power, which she does not have in the present.

Mistake Plot hole: When Phoebe tried to kick the Shocker Demon, she became electrocuted until Piper interposed with a large wooden stand. But when the prince attacked the Shocker Demon with his metallic sword, the demon was cowed and the prince was unharmed.

Mistake Revealing: When the prince is supposed to be frozen on Paige's living room couch, when they do a close-up you can see the actor blink.

Mistake Plot hole: According to Paige's "fairy tale" the witch ends up with the prince. If this is really a past life, the sorceress ended up with the prince in the Middle Ages. So why do they have to fix it? Everything was just going the way it did according to her fairy tale, and good magic was obviously still present in the world.

Mistake Continuity: When Phoebe picks up the cordless phone to call Paige before the Shocker Demon attacks for the first time, the cordless phone is white but then after the attack, when the cordless is on the floor, it's black.

Brain Drain (season 4, episode 7)

Mistake Other: Right after Piper comes out of her crazytown adventure, she comes down the stairs in completly different clothes and hairdo than she went in with.

Black as Cole (season 4, episode 8)

Mistake Continuity: Paige looks in the Book of Shadows and suggests that the demon they are looking for could be Belthazor, not knowing that Baelthazor is Cole's demonic form. But we saw Phoebe making extensive changes to Belthazor's entry in the Book of Shadows in a previous episode, and the changes are not in evidence here.

Mistake Continuity: When Phoebe tries talking to Emma about Belthazor, Emma's hands are folded in front of her, holding her sweater closed. In the following shot when Emma turns around, her arms are now down by her sides, with her sweater open.

Mistake Revealing: When Paige cuts the flesh away from Sykes, you can visibly see a white bandage-like thing under his skin as it comes off.

Mistake Plot hole: After Cole explains he might not be able to regain control after embracing his demonic half, he tells Phoebe she should have the Belthazor vanquish potion ready just in case. But in "Look Who's Barking", Piper tried using that potion on Cole and it didn't work because he had himself magically protected from it.

Mistake Plot hole: In this episode Cole says "upper level demons have a human form and they bleed red, not green", but when Cole told Phoebe he was half human he said "how else could I bleed red, even in my demonic form".

Muse to My Ears (season 4, episode 9)

Mistake Continuity: If Leo can't hear the girls call him when HE is underground, he shouldn't be able to hear the girl's call him when THEY are underground and he doesn't know they are at P3 until a few minutes later.

Mistake Continuity: After Phoebe jump kicks a warlock and falls to the ground, there is a blonde woman standing next to them. In the next shot of the warlock, when Piper blows him up, the woman is gone. But all of the mortals had been frozen, so she couldn't have moved.

Mistake Continuity: When Devlin uses the Ring of Inspiration on his subordinate, his hand changes orientation from vertical to horizontal.

Mistake Other: The one demon that knew about the 40s party was vanquished, and he went straight from spying on Paige and Phoebe at P3 to "glamouring" into Leo at the Manor. He had no way of telling Devlin about the 40s party, and yet it was still full of demons waiting to kill the Charmed Ones, with Devlin "glamoured" into Melody as a trap. And Devlin didn't even have that power - the demon that was vanquished did.

Mistake Plot hole: Why did Phoebe have to write a spell to vanquish the warlock in this episode? When they have vanquished warlocks before they used the power of three spell, "the power of three will set us free".

Mistake Continuity: Near the end of the episode, in the scene at P3, Phoebe launched a jump kick at a warlock after Paige has been knocked down by a small energy ball. Everybody else in the club was frozen by Piper, but when Phoebe lands she jostles a blonde extra who moves from her pose.

A Paige from the Past (season 4, episode 10)

Mistake Factual error: On the wall of Paige's bedroom when she was a teenager is a Metallica poster for "Garage Inc.", a CD not released until 1998 although Piper later says that Paige has gone back to 1994.

Mistake Plot hole: When we see Paige's 1994 bedroom, she has what appears to be a Bride of Chucky doll. The movie "Bride of Chucky" wasn't released until 1998.

Mistake Other: When Piper and Leo are talking to Phoebe about Phoebe's fear of accepting Cole's marriage proposal, Piper comments "...even though he could rip your throat out with his teeth", but the closed captions mistakenly read "with is teeth."

Mistake Other: After Piper freezes the first crime scene that Cole and Phoebe (aka Frankie and Lulu) have hit, Piper unfreezes Darryl by touching him but at the beginning of the the episode when Piper and Cole are touching the car that Piper froze, to stop it from exploding after a car crash, while trying to help the woman inside, the car never unfreezes. This is somewhat inconsistent through the entire show a lot of times they can unfreeze things by touching them and then a lot of times they can only unfreeze things by Piper using her pointer finger to either unfreeze a head or a foot or some other body part.

Mistake Other: Paige and Leo are in Paige's 1994 room for at least 1 minute and don't smell the cigarette smoke but when Paige's father enters the room, Paige hugs him and in the middle of the hug he immediately smells the cigarette smoke.

Trial by Magic (season 4, episode 11)

Mistake Plot hole: Piper convinced Paige that they should use their powers to make Andrew confess to murder. Paige wonders why it's okay to reveal their powers to a mortal, and Piper and Leo explain to her that it's all right to use their powers on a mortal because they're trying to help an innocent. But in episode 2-19: "Ex Libris," Prue wanted to use a truth spell to force the pawnshop owner to confess to murder, and Phoebe pointed out that it is an abuse of their powers to "punish the innocent."

Mistake Continuity: In the teaser, Phoebe has a vision of a murder. When she first sees the shadow of the attack, the assailant is holding his victim down with his right hand while stabbing with his left. Then when the vision focuses on the Medusa head tattoo on his forearm, it is the right arm that is stabbing.

Charmed and Dangerous (season 4, episode 13)

Mistake Revealing: In the scene where The Source uses Piper's powers together on the clay object (it blows up and then freezes), after he unfreezes it, the pieces shatter and one lands on the stand thing. As the camera moves in towards The Source, before the camera passes the clay piece it visibly vanishes (as it is CGI) and then the Source holds up a piece which is much larger and a different shape.

Mistake Revealing: During the episode, Paige is wearing a sleeveless top, but when she thrown across the attic by 'The Source' the stunt double is wearing sleeves.

Mistake Revealing: At the end of the episode after Phoebe and the Seer put the hollow away in its place, she leaves, but when it next cuts to a closeup of Cole, in the corner of the screen you can see her hair.

Mistake Other: In this episode, the Source talks about the "Ultimate Power" being the Hollow. But in Season 8, we learn that the "Ultimate Power" is Billy and Christy. (And they end up taking in the Hollow, so now are they the "Ultime Power" times 2?) Which is it? It can't be both.

Marry-Go-Round (season 4, episode 15)

Mistake Continuity: When Paige was invisible and Cole watched the blood, there was a large pool of her blood, but in the next shot, the pool of blood was smaller.

The Fifth Halliwell (season 4, episode 16)

Mistake Factual error: The Seer tells Cole about the importance of the upcoming "Harvest Moon." But this episode aired in mid-March, while the Harvest Moon is the full moon closest to the autumnal equinox. The full moon closest to the vernal equinox is known as the Worm Moon.

Saving Private Leo (season 4, episode 17)

Mistake Plot hole: When Piper freezes an object it always continues with its path when it unfreezes, but when she unfreezes the knife Rick has thrown at her it drops to the floor.

Mistake Plot hole: When Rick and Nathan held Leo down so he couldn't get to his charge, why didn't he orb to her side to save her?

Mistake Continuity: In this episode, an invitation to Piper is addressed to 1329 Prescott Street. But in episode 1-7: "The Fourth Sister," the Halliwell sisters put up a flyer for their lost cat, and it gives their address as 7571 Prescott Street.

Mistake Continuity: The name plate under the photo of Leo at the Veterans Association indicates that he died on November 24, 1942. Paige's research indicates that Nathan and Rick both died on the same day as Leo, but she later finds out that they were buried at the V.A. on November 22, 1942, two days before they are supposed to have died.

We're Off to See the Wizard (season 4, episode 19)

Mistake Continuity: In the scene where we first see Phoebe and Cole when she's about to leave the apartment you see she is wearing gold and white high heels but as soon as she reaches the elevator shes wearing black boots actually to be more specific they're Uggs, a type of boot.

Mistake Continuity: When Leo arrives to tell the sisters about the wizard, Phoebe's hands change position between shots.

Womb Raider (season 4, episode 21)

Mistake Continuity: When Phoebe gets a stomach cramp in Detective Miles' office, she doubles over in pain. In the next shot, she's standing up straighter than she was. Her right hand also moves from the chair in front of her to her stomach.

Mistake Continuity: When Phoebe talks to Morris in Detective Miles' office, her hands change position instantly between shots.

Witch Way Now? (season 4, episode 22)

Mistake Revealing: In the teaser, when Leo levitates to hang a picture, he has a major wedgie and the ankles of his pants hike up to mid-shin due to the harness that is used for the levitation effect.

Mistake Continuity: In the scene where Agent Jackman shows them the file he has on them in their dining room, Paige's left dress strap has fallen off her shoulder in some shots, but in others it's perfectly in place.

A Witch's Tail (1) (season 5, episode 1)

Mistake Plot hole: In this episode, when Piper and Leo are preparing the nursery, Leo tells Piper he has been watching her her whole life, and she says "That's a little bit creepy". she acts as if she doesn't already know this but in episode 2-22 'Be Careful What You Witch For' Piper says, "You have been watching me my entire life".

Mistake Plot hole: The Sea Hag says at the start of the episode to Mylie that as an immortal being, only she can place the augur shell over her heart to give up her life. But at the end of the episode Necron magically places the shell onto Phoebe and it nearly sucks the life out of her.

Mistake Plot hole: Paige says she cannot wait to tell the local witch doctors that Borneo demons are not impervious to magical powers. But in the episode 'House Call', they act as if they have never heard of witch doctors, let alone dealt with them.

A Witch's Tail (2) (season 5, episode 2)

Mistake Revealing: When Phoebe goes to sign her papers at the end, she spells her name as Pheobe.

Mistake Continuity: When Paige goes to Cole for help saving Phoebe, she puts her hand on his chest. In the next shot, her hand disappears, with no time for her to have moved it.

Mistake Revealing: When Piper blows up the painting you can see the hole used to put the charge into to blow it up.

Happily Ever After (season 5, episode 3)

Mistake Continuity: When Adam spills coffee all over Phoebe's top in the office, the stain disappears and reappears between shots.

Mistake Continuity: After Piper puts Little Red Riding Hood's cloak on and travels into the book we see a close up of the book and the cloak is still lying behind it.

Mistake Other: If all the objects in the fortress are originals from the fairy tales, why are the ruby slippers red? In the original story the slippers were silver, they were made red for the MGM movie, so they would be the brightest thing on the screen.

Siren Song (season 5, episode 4)

Mistake Factual error: When the siren gets the pole that was speared through her pulled out, there is only blood in the middle part of the pole. If it had really been pulled out of her, it would be bloody all the way along.

Mistake Revealing: When the Siren is being healed, you can see that she's just holding the pole next to her, when it's supposed to be going straight through her.

Mistake Continuity: When Piper and Paige fall out the window and land in the dumpster, in the wide shot the garbage bags are white, and in the close-up they're blue.

Witches in Tights (season 5, episode 5)

Mistake Continuity: In the opening scene in the club with the DJ playing, they have an overhead shot of the club. In the lower right hand corner we see Paige and Dave talking with Leo and Piper, but after the scene cuts out Piper is just walking in. This can't be since we already saw them talking.

Mistake Continuity: When Leo and Ramus are talking in front of the bay windows, the door behind Ramus switches from closed in the wide shots to open in the close-ups.

Mistake Continuity: In the scene where Phoebe dangles the slumlord from the roof, the TransAmerica Pyramid can be seen behind Phoebe and Cole. A subsequent shot, after Phoebe tosses the slumlord back onto the roof, is take from the opposite side, but the TransAmerica Pyramid is still behind them, and is much closer.

Mistake Continuity: The drawings of the sisters, change from when they were in the book, to when the Aggressor tore the paper.

Mistake Continuity: Just after 'the Aggressor' tears the picture of the girls, they all change back to their normal clothes, however in one shot, Paige's arm is visible and she is still wearing her costume.

The Eyes Have It (season 5, episode 6)

Mistake Continuity: When Paige is telling the others she thinks Lydia is the one Cree was after, she says 'I think Lydia was the one who summoned that dust storm', but none of the sisters were present when the dust storm was summoned. They only arrived afterwards.

Mistake Plot hole: The sisters act as though they have never heard of the evil eye before; but in episode 1-2 'I've Got You Under My Skin' the demon Javna invokes the power of the evil eye to steal youth from women.

Mistake Continuity: Lydia has green eyes, but when Orin extracts them at the morgue, the eyes he puts into his head are blue.

Mistake Continuity: When Phoebe goes to get her palm read, Madame Theresa draws lines on her hand. But when she first enters the room and sits down the lines are already visible on her hand, before they have been drawn there.

Mistake Plot hole: When Phoebe had her premonition of Lydia being attacked by Cree, why didn't she immediately warn her? Lydia is a Gypsy high priestess, which Phoebe knows because she just saw Lydia perform a religious ceremony, and she also knows from the previous events in the episode that Gypsy elders are aware of Wiccan magic. But instead she said nothing and waited to talk to her sisters before doing anything about the premonition. So although they were able to save Lydia, she wound up being needlessly attacked and injured.

Sympathy for the Demon (season 5, episode 7)

Mistake Plot hole: There are many references in this episode to Phoebe using a power-stripping potion on Cole. But it wasn't Phoebe who used the potion on Cole; it was Emma, the fiancée of one of his victims.

Mistake Plot hole: Cole says Barbas can use his powers to become the Source, but in the episode "Womb Raider" they established that an aspiring Source needs to lay his hands on the Grimoire to become the source, which was hidden away by Leo in the Andes.

A Witch in Time (season 5, episode 8)

Mistake Continuity: In the episode "A Witch in Time," when Phoebe and Piper are going to Miles' work to get him for the first time, Phoebe runs up the steps to his work and she is wearing leather boots with a skinny heel. Then, when she and Piper are running to where the police shoot-out is, Phoebe is wearing tan Ugs. Then, when they get there and Piper freezes the scene and Phoebe is getting the bullets out of the air, she is wearing the leather boots again.

Sam I Am (season 5, episode 9)

Mistake Continuity: Watch Paige's right shoulder throughout this episode. Every once and a while you can see her black bra strap disappear, reappear, and disappear again between shots.

Mistake Continuity: When the Charmed Ones decide to try to vanquish Cole, Paige says that the newest potions they mixed should work, since they're "at least as strong as the ones [they] used on the Source." But they never used any potions that had an effect on the Source.

Mistake Continuity: When Phoebe cut Cole in 'A Witch's Tail' the blood was acidic and melted through the letter opener, but in this episode the blade was complete and had drops of blood on it.

Mistake Continuity: When Paige and Phoebe are sitting at the bar at the beginnning of 'Sam I Am' their arms change positions between every shot.

The Importance of Being Phoebe (season 5, episode 11)

Mistake Continuity: When Phoebe is lying on the ground and is supposed to be unconcsious, when Cole goes to pick her up you can see Phoebe throw her arms around his neck.

Mistake Revealing: When Kaya throws the knife at Phoebe watch in freeze-frame and you can see that for the shot from behind her there's no knife in her hands.

Mistake Continuity: Paige's green top that covers her black t-shirt constantly changes from being on her shoulder to off, particularly in the police station scene.

Mistake Plot hole: Close to the end of the episode, when Phoebe is going into the house pretending to be Kaia pretending to be Phoebe, Paige and Piper tell Phoebe that the demon twirls her hair, a lot. Cole also brought this to our attention much earlier in the episode. Phoebe says she's got it, and goes into the house. Paige had indicated that the problem with getting into the house was that there's a "whole load of demons" and a force field. Phoebe was to impersonate Kaia in order to get past all of these defenses. But through out the whole time she's in the house, Phoebe never twirls her hair.

Centennial Charmed (season 5, episode 12)

Mistake Continuity: When Paige follows Phoebe into the kitchen and is trying to convince her that she is telling the truth, Phoebe's right earring is missing in the shots showing both women, but it is there when the shot changes to close ups of Phoebe. It is an awfully large earring to be hidden by her hair in the two-shot.

Mistake Continuity: Although the actress has changed, Piper's doctor appears to be the same character as Eva, the shuvani, Paige even says, 'we saved her shuvani tribe'. But throughout this episode they call her Eve.

Mistake Plot hole: In 'Centennial Charmed' Paige orbs to another reality where she loses all her powers. Leo tells her the this is because she was never called as a witch in this world, but Paige had most of her powers before she was called because of her whitelighter blood, so she should retain these. Leo says that Paige has assumed the life of this reality's Paige, but then adds "...or at least the life she would have lived if she hadn't been killed". If alternate Paige had lived she would have had Whitelighter powers, even if she didn't know about them, so our Paige should also have them.

Mistake Continuity: Paige's headstone reports her year of birth as 1975. But in episode 4-2: "Charmed Again, Part Two," Paige spoke with the nun to whom she was given as an infant on August 2, 1977, and Paige is always described as having been "given up at birth" by Patty and Sam.

Mistake Plot hole: Paige realises at the end that time went on in her own dimension at the same time as it went on in the alternate reality, and Piper calmly comments "Oh there you are. We were wondering" or words to that effect. Paige had been gone over a day and Leo wouldn't have been able to sense her across dimensions. Weren't Phoebe or Piper the least bit worried about her?

House Call (season 5, episode 13)

Mistake Revealing: When Piper made the house vanish, and she, Paige and Leo ran up to where it was, the background was obviously fake.

Mistake Continuity: Leo orbed from the Manor to Hell while it was full daylight. He orbed Jessica straight to the church, there was a brief scene, and then Leo and Paige orbed directly back to the Manor, but by the time they arrived it was completely dark.

Sand Francisco Dreamin' (season 5, episode 14)

Mistake Continuity: When the Charmed Ones are falling asleep on the couch to confront their dreams, Piper is wearing the same low-cut red dress she has been in for most of the episode. However, once she has confronted her dream, she wakes up and runs to check to see if the demon has vanished. She is now wearing a blue blouse, but there has been no time for her to have changed clothes.

The Day The Magic Died (season 5, episode 15)

Mistake Continuity: In the beginning, Paige is wearing a shirt with the scrunching sleeve on the right and slanting on the left. In following scenes, the scrunching sleeve is on the left and slanting on the right.

Mistake Plot hole: In the episode "The Day Magic Died," Phoebe and Paige first find out that magic is down when Paige tries to orb the unicorn. But, when she tries to orb it, she makes a scrunched up face that would suggest that she knew magic was out and she hoped that she could orb.

Cat House (season 5, episode 18)

Mistake Continuity: In episode 3-9: "Coyote Piper," Piper danced sexily on the bar while the song "Unbelievable" played. She danced only to the one song before her sisters pulled her off the bar. In this episode, Phoebe and Paige physically enter Piper's memory (magically enhanced for accuracy), and a different song plays during Piper's dance, despite it being the exact same video footage.

Mistake Plot hole: Phoebe says to Paige that she didn't know that Kit was their familiar, that she was just some cat that kept hanging around on the porch. But they learned that Kit was their familiar in episode 3-17 'Pre-witched', and they also said that Kit is male, unlike the woman in this episode.

Mistake Plot hole: When Phoebe and Paige are be sent through Piper and Leo's past we see things that that cannot be true. 1. When Leo was dying in "Love Hurts" you see Piper and Leo orbing, but in the actual episode they walked down the stairs. 2. In "Just Harried" we see the cake fall and the Statue skid on the floor, but in the actual episode it was caught under the cake.

Nymphs Just Wanna Have Fun (season 5, episode 19)

Mistake Plot hole: When Paige rearranges the kitchen Piper asks what was wrong with the old system that had worked for the last five years. But when Piper became a neat freak in episode 5-13, 'House Call', she alphabetised all the ingredients in the kitchen, which was not five years before.

Sense and Sense Ability (season 5, episode 20)

Mistake Continuity: During the meeting with Phoebe's boss (regarding her newspaper column), when Phoebe's hearing is "stolen", the white handbag flips over (top faces Phoebe, then bottom) and upside-down (note flap/clasp) on the desk between shots.

Mistake Continuity: When Phoebe loses her hearing during her meeting at the newspaper, she holds her hand up to her ear while talking to Elise. In the next shot, her arm is suddenly resting on the tabletop, with no time for her to have moved it.

Necromancing the Stone (season 5, episode 21)

Mistake Plot hole: Piper mentions that Grams banished the Necromancer "sixty years ago" at Patty's Wiccanning. Grams soon thereafter says that the Necromancer has had "almost seventy years" to regain his strength. However, Patty was born in 1950, and this episode aired on 5/4/03, at which time Patty's Wiccanning could not have been more than 53 years earlier.

Mistake Visible crew/equipment: When Piper hits the mirror after being thrown across the room by the energy bolt, look closely at the roof in the other room: a black rectangular hole with a stage light poking out of it is visible.

Mistake Deliberate "mistake": In this episode Wyatt has his wiccaning. After all of the vanquishing is done with the Necromancer, it's finally time for the wiccaning and the spell that is said is this: "I call forth from space and time, Matriarchs from the Halliwell line, Mothers, daughters, sisters, friends Our family spirit without end, To gather now in this sacred place And help bring this child to grace." In this spell it is said to bring forth "daughters and sisters" from the Halliwell line, Prue died in the third season and this is now the fifth season, shouldn't she have been summoned as well to bring her nephew Wyatt to grace?

All of series 6 (season 6)

Mistake Plot hole: The whole reason Piper and Leo can't be together is because he has become an elder, but he's present at home just as much as he was when he was a whitelighter. And why would he be worried about "breaking the rules" now after all they've already been through?

The Power of Three Blondes (season 6, episode 4)

Mistake Continuity: When the Stilman sisters are talking about who gets which powers, Margo(the youngest)had her hand by her side, but in the next shot when she talks about Mitzy's (the middle sister) attitude, she has her hand on her shoulder.

Mistake Continuity: During the scene when Paige goes to the citrus plant during the labor rally, her pink blouse is quite short, baring her entire midriff. When the security guard throws Paige out of the plant, Rose McGowan's stunt double is wearing a shirt in the same pink color, but it reaches all the way down to her waistline.

Mistake Continuity: When Phoebe kicks Mabel after the Stillman sisters have taken the Charmed Ones' powers, Jennifer Sky's stunt double's face can be plainly seen, and also her hair is darker and less full.

Mistake Revealing: When Phoebe is thrown out of the Bay Mirror office by a security guard, Alyssa Milano's stunt double's face is digitally blurred.

Mistake Plot hole: Paige sees Margo leading the labor rally at the citrus factory, and then is stopped by a security guard. In the next scene, Margo and her sisters are entering the manor, and then after that Paige is thrown out of the factory. But how did Margo get from the factory to the manor before Paige was thrown out, when she was in the middle of the rally?

Mistake Plot hole: When Paige tries to orb to prove her identity to Chris, she can't because Margo has cast an anti-orbing spell. But that's not possible. The Charmed Ones and Chris all orbed into the room, and Margo couldn't have cast a spell after that, or we would have seen it happen.

Love's A Witch (season 6, episode 5)

Mistake Continuity: Just after Olivia has killed Mr. Montana and everyone goes running up to see what has happened, Phoebe waves to Paige through the window of the Calloway's house which is shown to be right next door to the Montana's house. Earlier in the episode it had been established that they lived across the street.

Mistake Factual error: When Phoebe was telling Paige that the energy ball did not come from the other house, Paige says she saw it come through the window. She could not have seen it because she was in the other room and the door to Richard's dad's office was closed.

Mistake Continuity: When Chris orbs to the manor after Paige has returned home, his hair is brushed to lay mostly flat and behind his head, with a part on the left side of his scalp. When he comes into the kitchen shortly thereafter, his hair is shaggy and unkempt, with a part in the middle.

My Three Witches (season 6, episode 6)

Mistake Revealing: Before Jason Dean is shot outside the penthouse, Phoebe is waving her hands trying to convince him that the world is not real and you can already see blood on her fingers.

Mistake Plot hole: Phoebe's empathic powers result in Gith accidentally creating a world based on Jason's desires instead of Phoebe's. But if Gith was just using his own powers to perceive the Charmed Ones' desires, why did Chris give him a list of those desires?

Soul Survivor (season 6, episode 7)

Mistake Continuity: When Paige is trying to convince Piper and Phoebe that she needs to save Larry's soul, she has the Book of Shadows open to the page on vampires. In subsequent shots, the open page changes to two different demons; but Paige's hands are down by her sides the entire time, so she couldn't have flipped the pages over.

Sword and the City (season 6, episode 8)

Mistake Continuity: When Phoebe is walking the Dwarf to the door after finding out Piper pulled the sword from the stone, he steps outside and goes into fast-forward, then stops and goes back to normal speed as he sniffs a flower. During this, in the background, you can see Phoebe, who freezes the whole time.

Mistake Continuity: As Piper is talking to Mordaunt at the Round Table, her fringe changes from in front of her face to behind her ear to in front of her face again.

Little Monsters (season 6, episode 9)

Mistake Continuity: When Paige and Phoebe are knocked over by the large monster, the rug moves itself from being spread across the floor to scrunched up under them between shots.

Mistake Continuity: Paige's spell causes Darryl to acquire invulnerability and uncontrollable super strength. When he opens the door of the squad car, he accidentally rips it completely off. When he tries to put the suspect into the back seat, the man flies through the car and barrels out the other side, taking the other door with him. But immediately before this, Darryl high-fives several of his fellow officers, and they are unharmed. They should have been thrown off their feet and suffered multiple fractures in their hands.

Chris-Crossed (season 6, episode 10)

Mistake Continuity: In this episode the Charmed Ones see Bianca when she is little and when she is grown. When she is grown and from the future, she is the same age as Chris it would appear, even though we don't know her age. Chris is 22. As a child, Bianca looks like she is 7, that would make her 29. How would they have gotten together?

Mistake Plot hole: Phoebe, as an empath, senses Chris' love for Bianca when he's passed out. But in "Loves a Witch", Chris drinks an empath blocking potion so that Phoebe can't sense his emotions. Even earlier on in this episode, Leo asks if she can sense anything from Chris and she replies, "From Chris? No, I can never sense anything from him." So how could she have sensed his emotions at that moment?

Witchstock (season 6, episode 11)

Mistake Plot hole: This episode takes place in 1967, and Penny (Grams) is married to a man named Allen Halliwell who dies in the episode. Allen is supposed to be Penny's "first husband," Patty's father and the Charmed Ones' grandfather. But it was previously established that Patty's father was named Jack, and he died in 1964.

Mistake Plot hole: In the opening scene, Chris directs Piper and Phoebe on how to vanquish the amorphous demon. He says that it will attack "fast and hard" as soon as it senses Phoebe's magic when she levitates. But Chris had orbed out of the warehouse and back in, and the demon didn't react to the magic. Later in the episode, it is specifically attracted to a use of orbing, several times.

Mistake Plot hole: Paige is sent back to when Grams was her age; this shows that they are family and that they share similar traits. Grams having orange hair is a mistake because Paige's hair is not naturally orange, therefore has nothing to do with genetics.

Mistake Continuity: In this episode, it's 1967 and Grams is young and unrecognizable compared to her older self. But in "That 70's Episode," it's 1975 and she looks just like she does today, not to mention that she has two grandchildren. Grams sure ages quickly...

Mistake Continuity: When Chris orbs Phoebe from Hong Kong, Phoebe raises her arms to hug Piper twice.

Mistake Continuity: Robin falls over backwards after Paige dumps a cannister of marbles onto the floor. But Robin wasn't moving at all when this happened. Trying to walk over marbles will make you fall. Standing still while marbles roll around and bounce off your feet? Not so much.

Mistake Plot hole: When Piper and Phoebe appear in the past, Penny chides them not to "use [their] magic so openly." Immediately thereafter, Penny uses magic to turn some police officer's night sticks into flowers. That was some pretty open use of magic, right there.

Mistake Factual error: Phoebe, who has moved to Hong Kong, tells Paige that she, Paige, was born in the Year of the Ox. But Paige was born in 1977, the Year of the Snake. 1973 was the Year of the Ox.

Mistake Plot hole: After Paige changes the past, the ghost of Grams changes from a no-nonsense demon-hunter into a pacifist hippie. So, apparently, we are now in an alternate timeline where Grams never became assertive, and stayed a hippie all her life. The episode went to great lengths to establish that if Grams had stayed a hippie, she and the Charmed Ones would have all died young. But the ghost of Grams was still middle-aged, instead of decades younger, and Wyatt was still there, but he wouldn't have been if his mother Piper had died as a child.

Prince Charmed (season 6, episode 12)

Mistake Continuity: When Piper, Paige and Phoebe are having a food fight, Piper freezes the cake, then she throws it at Paige who suddenly has a mysterious stain on her top. Then Piper has orange food on her hands even though she hasn't touched anything orange, and the stain on Paige's top has gone.

Mistake Other: During the second attack on Wyatt, when he lets his force field down the top of head is transparent from the special effects.

Used Karma (season 6, episode 13)

Mistake Continuity: In the scene when Piper is fighting off demons by herself at the start of the episode and Phoebe and Paige come to help her, she narrowly misses a fireball and jumps down to the ground to dodge it. In the shot before, her forehead is un-injured, but as she dives to the ground you see that she is already bleeding from her forehead, *before* she actually hurts it.

The Legend of Sleepy Halliwell (season 6, episode 14)

Mistake Other: When Phoebe arrives back from her vision quest to find Piper has been kidnapped she tries to sense from the frozen students which one created the headless horseman. As Gillion, Paige, Chris and Phoebe walk into the conservatory you see Zachery blink rather obviously.

Mistake Continuity: When the shaman offers Phoebe the vision quest potion, she alternates back and forth from holding the cup with both hands to one hand.

Mistake Continuity: When Phoebe comes out of her vision quest the third time, the shaman holds out the potion cup by the handle, but in the next shot, she's holding it by the bowl. The cup also appears to jump from her right hand to her left.

I Dream of Phoebe (season 6, episode 15)

Mistake Continuity: Near the beginning when Chris and Phoebe are talking in her office, the loose ends of her scarf switch from being in front of her to being over the back of her shoulders in almost every shot.

Mistake Deliberate "mistake": In 'be careful what you witch for' the wishes were reversed if the genie went back into the bottle, but in this episode the different genies went back in the bottle several times without the wishes being reversed.

The Courtship of Wyatt's Father (season 6, episode 16)

Mistake Continuity: When Gideon warns Sara not to use magic to put the books in the library back on the shelves, her arms are at her sides. A second later, the shot changes to over her shoulder as Leo orbs in and she has a nearly full armload of books.

Hyde School Reunion (season 6, episode 17)

Mistake Plot hole: Rick is menacing Phoebe with a gun near the end of the episode. Why doesn't Paige orb the gun away from him? In fact, why did Phoebe make Piper stay upstairs? Piper could have frozen Rick, and Paige could have orbed him back to the prison. There were several obvious ways to resolve this situation that would not have caused Rick's death.

Mistake Revealing: As Phoebe and Rick are in the car about to do the robbery, she pulls out in front of the armoured van and as she drives out onto the road you see Phoebe's stunt doubles face.
