Necromancing the Stone - S5-E21

Plot hole: Piper mentions that Grams banished the Necromancer "sixty years ago" at Patty's Wiccanning. Grams soon thereafter says that the Necromancer has had "almost seventy years" to regain his strength. However, Patty was born in 1950, and this episode aired on 5/4/03, at which time Patty's Wiccanning could not have been more than 53 years earlier.

A Knight to Remember - S4-E6

Plot hole: According to Paige's "fairy tale" the witch ends up with the prince. If this is really a past life, the sorceress ended up with the prince in the Middle Ages. So why do they have to fix it? Everything was just going the way it did according to her fairy tale, and good magic was obviously still present in the world.

Suggested correction: I was thinking the same, but it's possible she thought he was an ancestor/past life of Cole. When she visited her own past life, she recognized everyone there because of their "souls" so maybe she thought the same with him. Although you'd think they'd acknowledge that a little.

Something Wicca This Way Comes - S1-E1

Continuity mistake: At the end of the episode the newspaper Prue is holding keeps changing from facing the camera to facing her. And as she turns to the house she drops her hand (and the newspaper) to her side but in the next shot she is holding it to her chest again. (00:40:25)

Trial by Magic - S4-E11

Plot hole: Leo suggests to Piper that they use their magic to scare Wyke into a confession. In Ex Libris (Season 2) it is established that they can't/shouldn't use their powers to punish the guilty - even if it means saving/helping an innocent. There's no way Leo would suggest such an immoral course of action.

The Legend of Sleepy Halliwell - S6-E14

Other mistake: In previous episodes it is stated that good witches don't freeze. But after Piper has been decapitated and her head is placed in the manor, one of the students freezes all the kids by tapping into Piper's freezing power. The kids are all good witches so they should not have frozen.

I Dream of Phoebe - S6-E15

Continuity mistake: Near the beginning when Chris and Phoebe are talking in her office, the loose ends of her scarf switch from being in front of her to being over the back of her shoulders in almost every shot. (00:00:50)

The Witch Is Back - S1-E9

Character mistake: In the attic, Melinda Warren is awed at how thick the Book of Shadows has gotten. But according to information from previous episodes, the Book was started after Melinda had died, so she wouldn't know how thick or not it was.

Thank You for Not Morphing - S1-E3

Continuity mistake: In this episode one of the shape shifting demons from across the street attempted to take the book of shadows out of the house. He managed to carry the book to the door, but could not take it past the threshold of the house. But in the later series it is always stated that evil cannot touch the book of shadows.

Charmed Again (1) - S4-E1

Continuity mistake: Piper does not light the candles before she summons Grams, but in the episode 'PreWitched' (when Grams summons Patty) we see that the candles must be kept alight to maintain the connection with the dead. (00:18:00 - 00:33:30)

Black as Cole - S4-E8

Continuity mistake: Paige looks in the Book of Shadows and suggests that the demon they are looking for could be Belthazor, not knowing that Belthazor is Cole's demonic form. But we saw Phoebe making extensive changes to Belthazor's entry in the Book of Shadows in a previous episode, and the changes are not in evidence here. (00:01:40)

The Honeymoon's Over - S3-E1

Continuity mistake: The timeline in the episode is inconsistent. Right after the first courtroom scene, we see the three sisters at home, and Phoebe says that "Cole was an angel in that courtroom yesterday." Later, Cole says that he regrets the criminal being let go, "today." But they are talking about the same events.

Show generally

Factual error: Considering how the sisters and Cole every now and then - especially during seasons 3-5 - find themselves in some churchyard or cemetery, it should be noted that there are no such places in San Francisco! Except for the original one at an old nunnery, from before the city was founded, and the Presidio Military Churchyard, all graves were moved in the first half of the 20th Century to the cemeteries at Colma, a few miles south of SF. This was done due to the sanitary risks in case of earthquakes, and the lack of space for churchyards downtown.

Paige: Well, you wanted to live like us. Now you get to die like us.

Answer: That was a mistake in the series.

Also, the episode is called 'Babies First Demon' and this alone tells us that it's Wyatt's first time in the field (so to speak) and as the sisters say, they've done a good job of clearing up their own magical messes so far. Nobody really knows how advanced Wyatt's powers are, or will become. That's why the cleaners appear, to nip things in the bud. The Cleaners didn't want to chance that the sisters could clean Wyatt's magic up, just incase they couldn't. Therefore intervening themselves, just in case.

Chosen answer: When the cleaners first surface in season 6 it is mentioned that usually the girls have been able to clean up their own messes (as seen in season 3 episode 22 when Phoebe turns back time thus concluding in the death of Prue).

Answer: Because they wanted them to fix their own mistakes.
