Julian Bashir: They broke seven of your transverse ribs and fractured your clavicle!

Elim Garak: Ah, but I got off several cutting remarks which no doubt did serious damage to their egos.

Trivia

In the scene where Kira and Dr. Bashir are talking, she points to her pregnant stomach and says "This is all your fault, you know" referencing that Bashir was the one who transplanted Keiko's baby into Kira. This is an inside joke, because in reality Alexander Siddig and Nana Visitor were an item, and Siddig was indeed the father of her baby. See more...

Strange Bedfellows (3) (season 7, episode 19)

Mistake Continuity: When Dukat pours wine (in close-up) for himself and Adami, the glasses each contain very different amounts of wine as he puts the bottle down. But in the wider shot, he hands Adami her glass while holding his own, and both appear to have the same amount of wine.

A Man Alone (season 1, episode 4)

Mistake Factual error: Aron Eisenberg's name is misspelled on-screen as Aron Eisenerg.

Dramatis Personae (season 1, episode 18)

Mistake Continuity: At the end of the episode, Odo has sent everyone affected by the telepathic matrix to a cargo bay. Sisko and O'Brien remove their com badges, throwing them aside before heading to the bay. After everyone is cured, Sisko straightens back up and, in the closeup, you can see that he has a badge on. In the next closeup, its gone again.

The Passenger (season 1, episode 9)

Mistake Deliberate "mistake": The dying Vantika hides his consciousness away in a portion of Dr. Bashir's mind. At one point, "Bashir" (heavily cloaked in clothing and shadows) comes up behind Quark and makes sure his demands are clear. At this point, it should still be unclear just how Vantika is still "alive", and whose body he is using. However, when he shoves Quark away, for a fraction of a second, Bashir's face can be seen under his hood. They were true to plot in using the right actor (though he shouldn't have been seen), it is possible some might have spied the secret earlier than the show meant to reveal it.

Image in the Sand (season 7, episode 1)

Mistake Continuity: Just before Ezri's first appearance (at Sisko's on Earth), notice the strap for the bag slung across Benjamin's father's shoulder. First it is twisted on his shoulder, then flat, then twisted, then flat again.

The Passenger (season 1, episode 9)

Mistake Revealing: In episode 'The Passenger', when the Koblian officer opens Vantika's eyes to run a retinal scan, his pupils dilate, despite the fact that he is dead.

A Simple Investigation (season 5, episode 17)

Mistake Continuity: When Arissa is first interviewed in Odo's office, she displays a 'data port' that is embedded below and behind her left ear in her upper neck. Her hair is styled to make it visible, and the port seems to be there for the entire scene, tho almost completely obscured at times. The second time she's in Odo's office, her hair style is the same, making it very obvious the port has now vanished, and it's gone the entire scene. For the third visit to Odo's office, the port appears and disappears at random. Apparently this scene was comprised of shots from the two separate shoots that made up the first two office scenes.

Rules of Acquisition (season 2, episode 7)

Mistake Factual error: The originally-aired version spelled the word "Acquisition" without the "c" and it appeared in the credits as "Aquisition." This goof has been corrected in the DVD versions.

A Simple Investigation (season 5, episode 17)

Mistake Revealing: When Odo and Arissa are talking in Odo's quarters, you can see where the star field ends and where the sound stage floor begins.

'Til Death Do Us Part (2) (season 7, episode 18)

Mistake Continuity: When the Breen fling Dax into the cell after interrogating her, she (the stunt woman) lands front-down, facing her left side, with her left knee raised. (To clarify her body position, if she were vertical, it would appear her left foot was resting on the seat of a chair) The camera angle changes instantly so that we see Worf rush to her side as he kneels on one knee. But that knee is on the ground exactly where Dax's knee should still be. But it isn't, because both her legs are suddenly straight.

Homefront (1) (season 4, episode 11)

Mistake Continuity: It's surprising that Joseph Sisko is still alive at this point in the series. In previous episodes, Ben seemed to imply his father was deceased. In "Emissary" and "Paradise", he said his father WAS a gourmet chef (which is still his current occupation in this episode). And in a conversation with Odo in "The Alternate", Ben told him of how his father had a severe illness that made him very weak and he was unable to help him in the end.

Field of Fire (season 7, episode 13)

Mistake Continuity: As the episode begins, Ilario was referred to as an Ensign by Bashir and Dax. When he was found murdered the next morning, Odo referred to him as Lieutenant Ilario.

Extreme Measures (season 7, episode 23)

Mistake Other: Sloan arrived at the station to destroy the cure, and he and Bashir discuss the fact Sloan has to know what it is to be able to find it in Bashir's lab to be able to get rid of it. Sloan counters he could destroy the whole lab, and Bashir dismisses this as not subtle enough for Sloan. Obviously they've both forgotten that Bashir has perfect memory, so he'd need to be killed to get rid of the cure as well, not just destroy the lab. Something which Bashir would have brought up to back his point up, or Sloan could have used to defend his idea, destroying the lab with Bashir inside, getting rid of both.

The Way of the Warrior (2) (season 4, episode 2)

Mistake Factual error: During the fight in Ops, the laws of physics takes a slight dive. While Worf is fighting the Klingons, he hits them with his Bat'leth or his mek'leth, and a second later they react to the hit.

Little Green Men (season 4, episode 8)

Mistake Other: Shortly after Quark, Rom and Nog arrive on Earth in the 20th century, just after they are observed through the one-way glass by the Army officers, the Captain in the hat who enters the room with the man in the suit to interrogate the Ferengi is wearing his rank bars on his shirt collar horizontally, parallel to his collar. The two bars of an Army Captain's rank should be worn vertically.

What You Leave Behind (2) (season 7, episode 26)

Mistake Continuity: After Dukat kills Adami, he clutches a large book to his chest with his right arm. Sisko charges at Dukat, who, still clutching the book, turns to face Sisko. When the camera angle changes to show Dukat from behind, he is holding no book - and he wraps his right arm around Sisko as they fall off the cliff. The following overhead shot shows that Dukat still clutches the book (not Sisko) as the two fall into the fire. (The Region 1 'Season 7' DVD set includes this two-parter as a single, longer episode and my timecode is based on this fact).

Dramatis Personae (season 1, episode 18)

Mistake Continuity: When Kira is explaining to Jadzia in Quark's that she wants to get rid of Sisko, she is wearing her Bajoran earring in her right ear. When she picks Quark up by his collar a couple of shots later, the earring is gone.

It's Only a Paper Moon (season 7, episode 10)

Mistake Continuity: When every senior staff officer is in the conference room, watch Dax's rank pips. They change places from a shot to another, going (mentioning from left to right on her collar) from black-gold to gold-black and coming back to black-gold.

Rules of Engagement (season 4, episode 18)

Mistake Continuity: During Worf's questioning, Worf switched from being a Lt. Commander (2.5) pips and a commander (3) pips several times.

Tacking Into the Wind (season 7, episode 22)

Mistake Other: Watch Gowron's eyes when Worf opens them [After he killed Gowron] Gowron's eyes move.
