As Mal is bringing the shuttle in to land at the floating luxury home, as he flies to the left of a tower towards the gardens, behind them flying from right to left is the unmistakable silhouette of an SR-71 Blackbird cruising by. Given that this is a planet for the super rich and the heist is of a well known collector of old Earth artifacts, maybe this plane is part of another collector's collection, like John Travolta and his small fleet of planes including an airliner and other exotic aircraft. Continuity: When the crew land on Jiangyin to sell their cattle, Jayne gets off the ship without a hat. But shortly afterwards he suddenly has one. He, nor anyone else was carrying one when they stepped off the ship.

Continuity: As the crew leave Simon and River behind on Jiangyin, Simon's fringe changes between shots. In some there are 3 curled strands of hair, in others there are 2.

Revealing: During the bar fight at the beginning of the episode, Mal gets knocked over and then hits one of the slavers with a chair. The chair barely touches him yet he still falls to the floor.

Revealing: During the firefight on Niska's ship, when Simon sees a guard coming and says to Sheppherd Book, "Book, we, uh-", a dead guard on the floor moves his legs as the guard that Simon saw fires his weapon.

Continuity: At the beginning of the episode, Mal, Jayne and the slavers are playing holographic snooker. One of the slavers gets ready to hit the white ball and leans over the table with his snooker cue. The holographic balls then start to malfunction. In the shot of them malfunctioning the snooker cue that the slaver was holding has disappeared from the table only to return in the following shot.

Continuity: When Mal is fighting Crow on the ship, he falls over the containers of medical supplies, knocking some of them over. A few shots later when Jayne shoots Crow, the containers are standing upright again.
