Continuity mistake: During the opening credits, Martin and Claire are sitting in Cafe Nervosa, talking. Dark Side of the Moon - S7-E22

Continuity mistake: When Roz comes over to meet Simon for their date, she is standing at the door talking and one strap from her shoulder bag is hanging down from the shoulder. The shot from behind her shows both straps are on her shoulder, and then the shot goes back to the front - it's down again. At no time did she adjust it.

Frasier Gotta Have It - S5-E19

Continuity mistake: Frasier and Roz are in the kitchen talking, and Frasier says "over thinking things can spoil anything", and we can see Roz lifting a glass of water in her left hand. But the next shot shows that the mike is still pointed at Roz, and then we see Niles move it to the left again.

Roz's Turn - S4-E17

Continuity mistake: When Frasier and Roz are in his kitchen talking about audition tapes, sometimes he is holding a glass of sherry and sometimes he is not; it is not a case of him putting it down, as the scene goes to quickly for that. During the same scene, Roz's beer switches hands, and there was no time for that either.

Frasier: Niles, I would shave my head for you.
Niles: A gesture which becomes less significant with each passing year.

Show generally

Question: Counting his role on Cheers, Kesley Grammar has played Fraiser for twenty years. Is this the record for the longest portrayal of a character by a TV actor?

Answer: It equals the record of James Arness of "Gunsmoke" for the actor who's played the same part on TV NOT in a soap opera. If you include soaps there are two main contenders - William Roache, who's been playing Ken Barlow in "Coronation Street" in the UK since 1960. Don Hastings has been playing Robert Hughes in US soap "As the World Turns" since 1960 as well.
