Continuity mistake: Roz brings a folder of papers from work, which she puts down on the end of Frasier's coffee table where it lies diagonally for most of the scene except during one shot where it is lying perpendicular to the table.

Roz's Turn - S4-E17

Continuity mistake: When Roz and Frasier are in Bebe's office, and Frasier is exclaiming about her taking digitalis, the water glass in front of her is empty. The rest of the shots show it being about half full, even though she never refilled it, and there was no water source to be seen.

Three Dates and a Breakup (1) - S4-E19

Continuity mistake: At the beginning of the show, when Niles and Frasier are in Cafe Nervosa, the man behind them has a paperback book which is open with all the pages fanned out, and then it is lying flat, then fanned out again, and so on. It is not a case of him changing the book naturally, as the positions of other things in the shots change slightly as well.

Boo! - S11-E16

Continuity mistake: At the very start of the show, Frasier is pretending to conduct an orchestra with a wooden spoon. Marty says "Boo," and we see the spoon in his right hand. Then Ronee says, "He does scream like a woman," and suddenly the spoon changes to his left hand and is turned the other way. Frasier had no time to change it.

To Thine Old Self Be True - S7-E20

Continuity mistake: Mel and Niles are sitting on the couch at Frasier's. She is very upset and starts to open her purse for a hanky. In one shot she is fumbling with her purse and in the next the hanky is already in her hand - and not enough time to have done this naturally.

The Unnatural - S4-E16

Continuity mistake: Frasier and Niles are sitting at the dining room table looking at old photos. Niles pours a cup of coffee, adds cream, and reaches for a spoon. In the next shot we see him reach for a spoon again.

Continuity mistake: Near the end of the show, Roz and Frasier are at the radio station, in his booth. There is a clipboard lying on the console to the left. Roz goes to her booth (without the clipboard) and Bulldog bursts through the door on the left. The clipboard has disappeared. Shortly afterwards Roz goes back into Frasier's booth and the clipboard is back where it was.

Dark Side of the Moon - S7-E22

Continuity mistake: Near the start of the episode when Frasier comes home, Daphne quickly clears all the beer cans and mess on the lounge table. After she asks Frasier how he is and he replies, "Where's Simon?". The next time we see the table the cans and all the mess on the table have reappeared.

Roz in the Doghouse - S2-E12

Continuity mistake: Roz is at Frazier's while Daphne massages her foot. They are talking about Bulldog and we can see one crutch behind her. When she says "I did not", there are two crutches behind her. Later in the scene it goes back to one crutch. (00:07:50)

Bad Dog - S5-E18

Continuity mistake: Frasier is recounting what happened in Cafe Nervosa and we see the flashback - he is explaining why Bulldog is not a hero. In the flashback, we see Bulldog grab hold of Roz and he throws his coffee supposedly towards the gunman. However, the shot shows the cup rolling back towards where Bulldog was standing. In the next shot, we see the coffee cup again, hurtling towards the gunman, and spilling coffee on him.

Secret Admirer - S6-E6

Continuity mistake: In the opening scene, Frasier is having coffee with Nancy and Roz comes in - she sits down and goes to put her purse on the floor. In the next shot her arms are suddenly up on her table and her hands near her face - without enough time for this to have happened in real time.

Frasier-Lite - S11-E12

Continuity mistake: When the KCAL team goes for their final weigh-in, Roz grabs some scissors and one of her co-workers cuts her hair - but he cuts it quite low towards the bottom of her ponytail - when she holds up the cut portion, she only has a few inches left to her ponytail.

Selling Out - S1-E9

Frasier: Roger, at Cornell University they have an incredible piece of scientific equipment known as the Tunneling Electron Microscope. Now, this microscope is so powerful that by firing electrons you can actually see images of the atom, the infinitesimally minute building blocks of our universe. Roger, if I were using that microscope right now, I still wouldn't be able to locate my interest in your problem.

Question: Counting his role on Cheers, Kesley Grammar has played Fraiser for twenty years. Is this the record for the longest portrayal of a character by a TV actor?

Answer: It equals the record of James Arness of "Gunsmoke" for the actor who's played the same part on TV NOT in a soap opera. If you include soaps there are two main contenders - William Roache, who's been playing Ken Barlow in "Coronation Street" in the UK since 1960. Don Hastings has been playing Robert Hughes in US soap "As the World Turns" since 1960 as well.
