[Martin sees Frasier has a lot of cuts on his face from shaving.]
Martin: I thought you were just going to slit your wrists. Looks like you went for death by a thousand cuts.
Frasier: I cut myself shaving because I was shaving without water. Why was there no water? Because I had to move your chair, which gouged the floor, which made me call for Joe, who found bad pipes, which called for Cecil, who ate the cat that killed the rat that LIVED IN THE HOUSE THAT FRASIER BUILT!!
In the pilot episode, 'The Good Son', there is a fight brewing between Martin and Frasier because Frasier wants to hear Martin actually say the words, "Thank you" to him, for accepting his father into his apartment to care for him. In the series finale, 'Goodnight, Seattle (pt 2)', when Martin hugs Frasier, Martin says, "Thank you, Frasier," to his good son. See more...

Continuity: Roz comes back to the restaurant table, after phoning her babysitter, and says, "I have to go". At this point her purse is over her wrist. As she finishes saying, "Alice got a bead up her nose", she is holding the purse by its strap. A few shots later it is over her wrist again, even though she never moved it.
Continuity: Niles is sitting at a table in Cafe Nervosa looking at a magazine - he has a page folded back and we can a large photo on the page. When Roz comes over to use her cell, the shot goes back to Niles and now he has the mag opened at a different page. There's another change when Frasier comes over to use his cellphone. At no time did Niles actually turn a page or even have time to do so.
