Visible crew/equipment: In the scene outside of the Rialto, where Dawson is scolding Joey for being rude to Jen, Joey's shirt is falling off one shoulder. She shrugs to fix it, and her shirt lifts in the back, exposing her mic.

Trivia
Katie Holmes is the only actor/actress who appears in every episode See more...
Pilot (aka Emotions in Motion) (season 1, episode 1)
Full Moon Rising (season 2, episode 5)
Plot hole: Jack and Joey are desperate to get the tank pump fixed so they can put the lobsters back in. However, once the customer tells them how to fix it, they then stop for a chat, check his table for tips, read a poem, share a moment, and start cleaning counters - with no attempt to re-house the lobsters.
100 Light Years From Home (season 5, episode 19)
Plot hole: At the end of the episode, Dawson is seated in the kitchen talking to Pacey in a normally loud voice. At the same time, Joey and Charlie are awake and talking in the pup tent in the living room, very close to the kitchen. Later in the Season we learn that Joey had no idea Dawson had driven down to Florida to see her, as apparently he left without seeing or talking to her. But being in such close proximity that morning; there is no way Joey would not have been able to hear Dawson's voice as he talked with Pacey. The living room was close enough to the kitchen, so it doesn't make sense that Joey wouldn't have known Dawson was there and if she did-she would have gone to talk to him.
All Good Things... (1) (season 6, episode 23)
Factual error: In the third scene, when Doug stops Jack for speeding, both vehicles in the scene have North Carolina state safety inspection stickers in the lower driver side windshields, as opposed to a Massachusetts inspection sticker (which would be on the passenger side).
Sex She Wrote (season 2, episode 11)
Audio problem: When Abbie is trying to get Pacey's signature and says, "I'm collecting signatures," the movement of her lips doesn't match the speech.
A Family Way (season 4, episode 5)
Revealing: During the scene when Dawson and Gretchen are talking on the bridge, two couples walk by in the background. An older couple passes from left to right, and a younger couple walks from right to left. The younger couple is a woman with blonde, curly hair wearing a green top and beige/white skirt, and a guy wearing a green or blue top and white pants. During the same scene, the same younger couple again walks by in the background from right to left two more times. Then the older couple walks by again from left to right. Then one final time, the younger couple walks by yet again for a fourth time from right to left. Guess they were using the extras a lot that day.
Future Tense (season 4, episode 4)
Continuity: When Pacey picks Joey up to carrying her out of the party, he puts her over his right shoulder. In the next shot, just before they go out the door, she is carried over his left shoulder.
Downtown Crossing (2) (season 5, episode 15)
Continuity: When Joey is talking to the Mugger in the hospital room, every time they show her sitting down in her chair or getting up from it the chair looks like it is quite far from the bed, down past the foot of the bed, about 10 feet or so from the guy. But all the other shots she appears to be sitting much closer, only a few feet away from his face.
Hotel New Hampshire (season 5, episode 8)
Continuity: Pacy is having supper at a restaurant, and he pulls off his lobster bib. As the shot changes to over his shoulder, the bib is still present. Next shot of his front, the bib is gone.
Coming Home (season 4, episode 1)
Visible crew/equipment: In the scene where Joey and Pacey have arrived back at Capeside, and are getting things ready to get off the "True Love," in one shot you can see the microphone clipped to the back of Joey's shorts.
Baby (aka Look Who's Talking) (season 1, episode 6)
Visible crew/equipment: When Pacey is telling Tamara they should go out together there is grass on the camera lens, in the bottom center, in each shot of Pacey.
The Te of Pacey (season 4, episode 12)
Continuity: In "The Te Of Pacey", Pacey's birthday takes place in winter - it is snowing and everyone is wearing heavy clothes. The other episode featuring his birthday, season 2's "Crossroads", takes place in summer (everyone is wearing shorts and light shirts).
Two Gentlemen of Capeside (season 4, episode 3)
Plot hole: While out at sea, Jen and Pacey get slammed by the storm. So Pacey decides to take shelter at a small cove that he and Dawson had once used to wait out a storm. Pacey and Jen make it safely to the cove, and wait on the boat in fear of being capsized or drowning. If they are in a cove, and close to shore-why wouldn't they go on land to wait out the storm where they would be safer than in a boat that could be capsized or flooded? They could have probably swam a few feet to get to the shore, since they were already in a small cove that was near land. When Pacey was steering the boat into the cove; there was a noticable man-made jetty they were very close to, so obviously they were within close range of solid land.
A Weekend in the Country (season 3, episode 12)
Plot hole: When everyone is staying at the Potter B&B, Joey mentions that it's supposed to be the coldest night of the year. Also, Mr. Fricke tells them at breakfast that the heat went out again during the night. After such a cold night and the heat going out, the house must have been freezing that morning. Yet Joey wakes up and is wearing only a skimpy sleeveless top and PJ bottoms, more like summer pajamas. She continues walking into the very cold house without putting a robe or anything else on. It looks a bit odd, considering how cold the temperature is and the fact that everyone else that morning is already wearing long sleeves. Later that morning, the house is still so cold Joey is sleeping by the fire with a blanket over her. Yet earlier that morning, she seemed to be comfortable in scanty summer PJs.
Crossroads (season 2, episode 2)
Continuity: When Joey finds Dawson at Pacey's Pier Party, it is raining heavily. Both Dawson and Joey get soaked and their hair is very wet as they reunite and kiss. At this point, it suddenly stops raining and does not rain again the rest of the time at the pier. But later, when Jen and Abby are talking behind them, both times Dawson and Joey are shown from the rear their hair is noticeably dry, wavy and styled. Later, when Dawson and Joey are talking again before she goes home, their hair is once again very wet and combed flat against their heads. Also, neither Jen or Abby's hair appeared wet at all during the party.
Catch-22 (season 6, episode 20)
Revealing: Towards the end of this episode, Joey comes back to her Dorm room and spots the envelope Eddie left for her. You can see her name written on the outside of the envelope, and it's supposed to be Eddie's handwriting. But in fact, it looks exactly like Joey's handwriting as shown throughout the series. When Joey is talking earlier to Professor Hetson and he hands her the exam booklet with her writing on the front, it's the same style of handwriting. During other episodes, we see what is supposed to be Joey's own writing (ie: her note to Dawson during the Series Finale that she leaves on his bed) which is also very similar. So in fact, what is supposed to be Eddie's handwriting on the note to Joey really looks more like Joey's handwriting, or the same person who really does the writing for Joey's character.
The Graduate (season 4, episode 22)
Plot hole: After Drue has spent the night at Jen's house, Grams explains to Jen that she had a nice talk with Drue right after Jen left for school. But this doesn't make sense, because why would Jen have to be at school a certain time, and Drue not go to school at the same time or at all? His attendance at school would have been required as well.
All Good Things... (1) (season 6, episode 23)
Factual error: When Jack is carrying Jen out of Pacey's restaurant, she bends her head down. You can see that her now very long, curly hair is real and has a natural part. But this episode was in reality filmed right after the preceding episodes in Season 6, not 5 years later. And in the later episodes of Season 6 Jen had dramatically shorter hair. Although in the context of being 5 years later Jen's much longer hair makes factual sense, in reality it isn't possible that she could have grown her hair out that quickly between the Finale and the episodes filmed before it. So how did she? The shorter hair didn't appear to be a wig.
Tamara's Return (season 2, episode 4)
Continuity: When Abbie and Jen are talking to Vincent on the dock, Abbie's sheer gold shirt is up to her shoulders in the long shots, but not visible in the close ups.
Northern Lights (season 3, episode 13)
Factual error: Northern lights cannot be predicted, especially not days ahead.
