Plot hole: In the episode "Lows in The Mid-Eighties" during the flashback scenes, it is shown to us that Will comes out of the closet during his freshmen year of college during Thanksgiving Break, when they spend the weekend at Grace's Parents house. However in the episode "Willian, tell" Grace claims that Will came out to her at senior year of college during Christmas Break. Quite a difference for such a memorable time.

Plot hole: The apartment block where Will lives supposedly has the same layout for each floor of the building. Yet in "Yours, Mine or Ours" the room 12D is seen as located right in front of the elevator, the same location as Will's apartment door - however Will's apartment is always seen as 9C.
Plot hole: In earlier episodes, the hallway outside of Will's apartment does not match up with the layout of his apartment. Also, the board outside, besides the lift shows inconsistencies in the layout of the whole building.
Plot hole: In "Alley Cats" when they are bowling and Grace is losing, she says she's fine with it and she knows how it feels to be her middle sister, then Will reminds her that she's actually, "The baby of the family looking for Daddy's approval." However, in all later episodes, Grace is portrayed as the miidle child with a younger sister, Joyce and an older one called Janice. This mistake is made in a few other places through the show, where Grace either refers to how old she is (youngest, middle child etc) incorrectly.
Continuity: In the episode "Grace, Replaced", with the neighbor Val who moves into "apartment 15F" in the same building as Will and Grace. Yet in the previous episode "Yours, Mine or Ours" with Peter (who moved into 12D) we learn that 12 is the highest floor in the building...
Pilot (season 1, episode 1)
Continuity: When Jack holds his glass of water, he changes from holding the stem of the glass, to the actual bulbous part of the glass between shots.
Plot hole: Ellen and Rob wear wedding rings, yet their wedding is not announced until "An Affair to Forget" in the second season.
Visible crew/equipment: The shadow of the boom is cast on Will when he says "Let's play the Pyramid!"
Continuity: When the guys are playing poker, Jurgen picks up his beer bottle and starts to drink, but in the next shot it's suddenly back down on the table.

Continuity: As Will talks to Grace in his office, near the end of the episode, Grace is still in her wedding dress and the position of the veil keeps changing.

Continuity: In the poker scene at the beginning of the pilot we witness Will, Jack, Rob, and others playing cards. Shortly after Jack asks for "four cards please" watch the bottom left of the screen as a hand (presumably Will's) deals Jack a single card. In the next shot Will appears to have not dealt Jack any cards yet and when he does he gives Jack five cards, add that to the single card he gave in the previous shot and the Ace Jack kept from his original hand and we get a total of seven cards. Two more than Jack should have had if the hand was dealt correctly.
Continuity: Following the argument between Will and Grace when she returns from City Hall, Karen tells Grace she "thinks it's time for a couple of blue bibbies." Watch closely as she removes the lid from the pill bottle, takes out some pills, and puts the lid back on. The scene shoots to Grace and we hear Karen shaking the closed bottle. When the scene shoots back to Karen we see that the pill bottle is open again and Karen closes it yet again.
Continuity: When Will and Grace are at the bar, right at the end of the episode, Grace’s wedding dress is up on the bar-side, but in the next shot it is off of the bar.
Continuity: When Jack enters Will's apartment for the first time, with the idea of him moving in, the exterior outside of Will's apartment is completely different that for the rest of the whole show, and there's a wall right by his door.
New Lease on Life (season 1, episode 2)
Continuity: When Karen is sorting out her clothes at her work desk, the black sweater hanging over the desk lamp disappears then reappears.
Continuity: When Grace finally decides to move into Will's apartment near the end, we see Will eating a tub of ice cream. Between shots the ice cream tub lid jumps from being on the table behind Will, to suddenly sitting right in front of him.
Visible crew/equipment: When Grace asks Will for his advice on where her mirror in her new apartment should go, she goes running to the wall and when she does, the camera pans over and you can see that the wall stops, revealing it to be a set.
Continuity: When eating in Will’s office, Grace eats salad from a plastic container. Through the scene the salad in the container changes colour, position etc. Also between shots, lettuce appears on Grace’s fork.
Continuity: After Karen takes her black top off and throws it down on the table, whilst talking to Jack as they first meet, in following shots the top changes position a few times.
Visible crew/equipment: When Karen offers her hand to Jack when they first meet, you can see the boom mike at the top of the shot.
Continuity: When Grace has the idea to move into Will's apartment, we can see her cup of coffee on the table. Then a little later during their conversation, the cup moves.

Head Case (season 1, episode 3)
Continuity: When Grace is showing Will her ideas for the bathroom, whenever she shows Will pages in her magazines, the pages they’re on change between shots, and the magazines on the table differ from opened/closed.
Continuity: When Grace is showing Will how small her bathroom is, she has a towel around her neck, which has a spot of shaving cream on it, yet in a closeup of her telling Will to open the cabinet door, the cream has vanished, then reappears again.
Continuity: When Grace is making coffee, she picks up a sugar stick to put in the coffee. When we switch to her at the design table the stick has vanished and instead she has gained a small milk tub which she pours into the coffee.
Continuity: As Karen holds Grace’s blueprints, the pages are stapled and she is holding them both. In the next shot one of the pages is hanging down loosely.
Between a Rock and Harlan's Place (season 1, episode 4)
Continuity: When Will and Grace are eating dinner, Will has his knife and fork in his hands, but in the very next closeup he his wine glass in his hand.
Boo! Humbug (season 1, episode 5)
Continuity: When Will grabs the silly string from the table, he pulls off the yellow lid and drops it to the floor. In the next shot the lid is on the coffee table. It alternates from on the table/floor for a few following shots as well.
Continuity: At the end of the episode, "Buzzy Wuzzy" takes her bee mask with her and they leave. But when Will and Grace dive for the jawbreaker, the bee mask is back on the coffee table.
Continuity: When Will and Grace are taking the kids around the flats trick or treating, as Will and Grace enter the lift, the kids stand in the hall and their pumpkin bags have faces, but in the next shot they are plain orange.
Continuity: When the silly string fight happens, you see Nixon's can run out of string and he puts it back on the table when he takes off his mask. But when Will and Grace run back to grab the jaw-breaker, the can is suddenly full again as Will shoots Grace with it.

Continuity: When Jack finds out that Grace doesn't know who Steven is, he picks up a blue tassel - twice between shots.
Continuity: When Grace sits on the sofa (before Jack enters) her black bag is on the table in front of her. When Jack enters, wearing the alien costume, the bag is suddenly on the floor. Then when Jack gets up to leave the bag has moved itself back onto the table.
Revealing: When Grace and Will are looking at the large tin of Protein shake powder, you can see there is tape covering all of the logos and brand name on the tin.
Continuity: The amount of frothy foam on top of the protein shake differs through consecutive shots, as Grace is about to drink it, and after she has taken a sip and as Will and she talk in the kitchen area.

Revealing: When Grace slams into the side of the elevator buttons, they all light up except 4 (which is supposed to happen), but 5 lights up after she moves away from the panel.
Continuity: When Grace is cleaning the table with the playing cards on it, all the cards are separated in piles on the table, but in the next shot they’re all in one big messy pile. Grace holds a small piles of cards, and never touches the big messy pile, then in the next shot she picks somehow up all the remaining cards in one neat pile

Continuity: When Grace is putting on the waterworks in front of the landlord, to get a lower cut on the apartment, the bowl of tassels on the table is repeatedly full/half full, and tassels jump in and out of the bowl.
Continuity: When Will is sorting his CD’s, Grace enters the flat and puts her bag on the sofa with the back facing out and it is all black. When Will gives Grace a glass of wine, the front of the bag is facing out, with the flower design.
Continuity: At the end of the ep., where Will and Grace play a board game, the red plastic cards on the board change their position many times, as does the paper money and the dice.
Continuity: When Karen is sitting at the desk, with a fistful of pencils, the pencils often change position in her hand.

Continuity: After giving Will and Grace his scripts to read, Jack places his drinks bottle on the table and walks over to the door. When he reaches the door he suddenly has the drinks bottle in his hand, although he left it on the table across the room.
Continuity: When Grace is listening through the vent, she is leaning on a cushion. Between shots the cushion rotates because the stripes on it change from running horizontical to vertical.
The Truth About Will & Dogs (season 1, episode 10)
Visible crew/equipment: When Grace is trying to persuade Will to come out to the cinema with her, the boom mic is visible at the top of the shot.
Visible crew/equipment: In most of Season One at least (choosing a specific moment here), Will and Grace have a large ornamental silver ball in their living room, which always reflects the studio lights and the fact that there is no fourth wall to the apartment.
Plot hole: In this episode, Will says that he "never saw himself as a dog person." But in a later episode, the one where he sees the psychic, he talks about how he had a dog when he was little and how much he loved the dog.

Continuity: When Will and Grace play the “love her, hate him” game, they open a magazine up. In the next shot you can tell it’s on a different page, because the layouts have changed.
Continuity: When Will and Grace stand in the kitchen discussing the grey hair, the back of cereal packet (on the counter) faces the camera, but for one shot the front of the packet is showing.
Continuity: When Karen arrives at work, she places her bags on the chair, and then puts them down onto the floor. In a following shot they are back on the chair, then in another shot they’re gone again.

Big Brother is Coming (1) (season 1, episode 14)
Continuity: When Will is throwing ties from the closet, we see that they all land on the floor. The angle changes, and one has now appeared on the bed.
Continuity: When Will tosses all the ties out of his cupboard, the tie which landed on the end of his bed keeps changing. In some shots it’s a blue and black stripy tie, in others it’s a yellow and brown stripy tie.
Big Brother is Coming (2) (season 1, episode 15)
Continuity: Several parts of the mess in Will's apartment keep switching places. Look at the glasses and napkins.
Continuity: The chess pieces on Will's table keep moving around, despite the fact the game is over.
Secrets & Lays (season 1, episode 17)
Continuity: When Will is cleaning the tray, and in all following shots, from when he leaves the room, to when Karen walks over to Grace, to tell her to go get Campbell, there is a wine bottle which keeps jumping from the edge of the blue sink counter, to the edge of the counter which has the cooking gas-hobs on it.
Continuity: When Will is standing cleaning a tray, on the counter behind him there is a large circular wooden board, with a white tea-towel sitting on it. After he cleans the tray and walks off, the white tea-towel has moved off the wooden board, and is on the edge of the counter.
Continuity: As Grace unravels the scarf from around Jack’s neck, the clothes in her suitcase on the table change between shots.
Continuity: As Grace and Campbell kiss on the couch, Will returns to the cabin and then Grace shuts Campbell outside. The edge of a rug with tassels is sometimes draped over the back of the couch in some shots, and isn't there in others.
Continuity: After letting Campbell out, Grace pulls the white blind down the door, and it stops about halfway down the door, and gets stuck, and is still rolled at the bottom. In the very next shot, the white blind is now unrolled all the way down perfectly.
Grace, Replaced (season 1, episode 18)
Continuity: When Val is folding her towels in the laundry room, she completely folds up a towel as Will enters the room. Then she is seen re-folding the same beige colored towel. Then, though she had picked up the beige one, she is seen setting a dark towel on the stack.
Continuity: When Karen is sitting at her desk, she says "get out, already," and she has one bottle of nail varnish in her hand, and there are bottles on the desk in front of her. In the next shot she holds about four bottles in her hand, and now the bottles on the desk in front of her are differently positioned.
Will Works Out (season 1, episode 19)
Continuity: When Karen is lying on the table, her jacket is unbuttoned. And when Jack pushes her off the table and she gets back up, it's still unbuttoned. But as the shot cuts to her heading quickly over to the door, her jacket is now buttoned, but there was no time for her to do it.
Continuity: When Karen enters the apartment, the position of the board game boxes on the table change, especially the long white board game box which just out and back into a stack.
Revealing: When Grace is getting out the board games for her and Karen to play, the names of the board games have been covered with strips of tape.

Continuity: After Grace tells Will he has to go on a second date with Nathan, she runs out onto the terrace to hide. When she comes back into the kitchen, she leaves the terrace door open. In the next shot it’s closed, the open again.
Alley Cats (season 1, episode 21)
Continuity: When Rob & Ellen are confronting Grace about how competitive she is, there are several shots of them from the same angle. In some shots there is a red bag visible in the bottom left corner, in others it disappears.
Continuity: Grace unpacks her Scrabble board game from her bag, and puts it on the table, and puts the bag on the floor. Then her friends tell her she is too competitive, so she goes to her bedroom. As she goes, you can see that the board game on the table has now been replaced by the big red bag.
Revealing: When Will goes to pour himself a glass of whiskey, the brown liquid that is chosen to represent the liquor has foam bubbles on the top of it that resemble the ones that soda has.
Plot hole: In the bowling alley scene, Ellen states that Grace would need to knock down 27 pins in order to tie. Will and Grace then have a conversation, and Grace gets a strike with her next ball. They then start gloating that they have beaten Rob and Ellen, but the scores don't add up, and they couldn't go into the lead on that round.
Guess Who's Not Coming to Dinner (season 2, episode 1)
Revealing: When Will is supposedly naked, reading his book, you can see he is wearing underwear when he slams the book down as Grace leaves.

Revealing: Grace moves her arm slightly to where you can see the area where the water was spraying out of the holes in her hydra-bra. However no water sprays or falls from the holes which were made.
Continuity: When Grace and John talk in the art gallery; after John hands Grace the glass of champagne the amount in her glasses keeps significantly changing from each shot.
Audio problem: In the opening shot, when Will says "So Jack, you're still coming with me to pick up my new DVD player, right?" his mouth says otherwise.
Whose Mom is It Anyway? (season 2, episode 4)
Continuity: When Jack and Karen are waiting outside the INS office,Karen's leans against the back of the bench she is sitting on, and her arms are not crossed. When the shot changes, her arms are suddenly crossed.
Continuity: Near the beginning of the episode, Will is pouring some wine. First, he pours a full glass and hands it to Grace, then he begins to pour another glass that obviously already has wine in it. He then hands this to Grace and takes an empty glass from her to fill, which he already filled (there is no sign that she already drank the wine in the glass).
Continuity: When Will and his date are having dinner at Will's flat, will pours his date a glass of wine into an empty glass that the date is holding out. When the shot changes the date is holding a full glass near his chest, and when the shot changes again, Will is still filling it up.
Continuity: When Bobbi enters the flat at the end of the film, there is a green magazine on the sofa beside Grace. When Bobbi walks over to sit down, the magazine has vanished. After their talk the magazine has reappeared.
Continuity: When Karen is telling Jack, in the CD store, that him and Rosario have to convince the INS that they’re married, the position of the headphone around Jack’s neck change.

Continuity: After Will and Grace finish eating the pizza on Will's desk, in his office, the positions of the napkins, pizza slices, pizza box and water bottles keeps changing throughout the scene.
Continuity: When Brian is asking Jack where his steak is, because Jack is waiting and doing a job as a pepperboy in the restaurant, between shots the large wooden pepper grinder which Jack is carrying, vanishes.
Continuity: After Grace plays Karen’s adult video, Karen drops her compact, and powder spills all out of it onto the table. In following shots the powder on the desk changes position and vanishes. In addition the compact case also moves too, and when Karen dropped it onto the table it snapped shut but in a following shot it is open again.
Audio problem: When Karen drops the tape box the sound it makes sounds like a tape is still in it, but the tape is still in the VCR.
Continuity: The level of vodka in the bottle that Karen grabs from the sill changes, from after she pours some into the pencil pot (in this shot it is nearly half empty) to when she leaves (it is now nearly full up to the top.)

Continuity: When Grace is preparing the food for the thanksgiving dinner, she unwraps the plastic wrapping from the bowl of cranberries, and scrunches it into a ball. In the next shot she holds it and it is unwrapped and not a ball anymore.
Continuity: When Jack is lying on the table, with the huge bowl on his face, the position of the boxes behind him on the table changes a few times. In one shot they're half hanging off of the table, in the next shot they're fully on the table etc.
Continuity: After Will tells Jack that he knows that he hasn't told his mum he's gay, Jack backs into the patio doors, and the blind unrolls itself. In following shots it alternates from rolled up / down.

Visible crew/equipment: As Will and Jack walk along the street, out of NBC, in one shot as they walk along you can see the cameraman with a camera over his shoulder walking along with them, reflected in the store windows.
Continuity: When Will and Grace walk down the street in the opening credits, in every shot change the people walking around and behind them on the streets change, and the cars on the street change too.
Continuity: When Grace is talking to Karen about how she has just come out of a string of bad relationships, she picks up a book of cloth samples, then a second one. In the next shot her hand is empty and she picks them both up again.
Continuity: Jack’s scarf keeps changing position as he is riding his bike alongside Will and Grace, down the street. The scarf repeatedly alternates from behind/in front of his shoulder.
Advise and Resent (season 2, episode 15)
Continuity: When Karen pour a cup of coffee, the coffee is old, so she pours the coffee out of the window and puts the blue mug in a large see-thru plastic container. In the next shot the mug has vanished.
Hey La, Hey La, My Ex-Boyfriend's Back (season 2, episode 16)
Continuity: The cereal boxes that Grace unpacks onto the counter during the beginning scene, change, move around, alter positions etc. constantly.
Continuity: When Will and Grace sit on the couch eating the chocolate cake, in one shot Will gets a piece of cake on his fork and raises the utensil. In the very next shot the cake on the fork has vanished.
Revealing: When Grace is unpacking her groceries, you can see some brand names have been covered up with black tape.
The Hospital Show (season 2, episode 17)
Visible crew/equipment: When Karen stands by the pillar she says “I want to talk to Ja…Wi…Rosario” and as she does, Jack and Will step forward. Anyway, you can see two white tape markers on the floor which they stop at.
Continuity: As Nurse Pittman is talking about doing her training mostly on oranges, to Grace, she is putting on one of her rubber gloves, and her other hand is bare, yet in the next shot both gloves are on.
Sweet & Sour Charity (season 2, episode 18)
Continuity: The position of the high heels in the barrel, in the church bazaar differ greatly between shots as Karen enters the room, up to when she walks over to find her slingbacks. No-one else touched the shoes in between. They also change position as Karen kindly gives Sally some extra money.
Girls, Interrupted (season 2, episode 20)
Continuity: When Will and Grace sneak into Val's apartment to look for the music box, the number on the door is 12E. However, in Season 1, 'Grace Replaced', when Val and Will are talking in the elevator, she says she moved into 15F.
Continuity: When Karen is laying on bed, looking at the leaflet Jack gave her, between shots her martini swaps from her left to her right hand.
Continuity: When Grace and Val sit and watch TV on the floor, between shots the wine bottle moves and a cork appears in the top of it.
There but for the Grace of Grace (season 2, episode 21)
Continuity: When Shannon is asking Grace why she didn’t go through with her marriage, there are three glasses of near-empty wine on the table. In one shot they all completely vanish, then reappear in the next shot.
Continuity: When Ben is mixing the salad with Karen, Karen walks away, and one of the wooden spoons they were mixing with falls onto the worktop. In a following shot the spoon has suddenly jumped back into the bowl so that there are two in the bowl, then in a later shot the spoon vanishes once again.
My Best Friend's Tush (season 2, episode 22)
Visible crew/equipment: When Jack is telling Will he’s so happy he’s going to help him with his new product, they are standing in front of a painting. As Will stands up, you can see a cameraman reflected in the glass.
Continuity: When Jack throws the butt-puppet at Will, and storms out of the room, one of the pantyhose legs unravels and hangs down. In the next shot it’s shorter and wrapped back around.
Continuity: When Jack is talking to the board manager about kicking Will out of the ‘Subway Tush’ invention, confetti on Jack’s shirt front disappears then reappears, and the confetti on his shoulders differs as well.
Ben? Her? (1) (season 2, episode 23)
Continuity: When Will and Grace have dinner with Ben, in one shot Ben begins to lift his wine glass up, but in the next shot it’s back on the table. Later on the wine glass jumps into his hand as well.
New Will City (season 3, episode 1)
Revealing: After the opening credits there is a shot showing the house on the island where Karen and Stan live. If you look at the hanging chair, you can see that Karen is sitting in it. But in the very next shot she is in a meeting with Will, in a different outfit. This is a re-used shot from the previous season, which shouldn’t be there.
Continuity: In the end credits, as Karen is talking to Rosario in the limo, she takes an empty martini glass as pours herself a drink. Between shots a olive appears in the glass as she pours, and in the next shot it disappears.
Continuity: As Will is placing his pots of flowers on the table, ready to water them, two plant pots switch places between shots.
Grace 0, Jack 2000 (season 3, episode 5)
Continuity: When Grace enters Will's office, while he is spinning around on his new office chair, she goes and puts her black purse down on the desk. In the next shot it is positioned differently.
Continuity: When Will enters the backstage washroom to tell Jack that he can make fun of him on stage, Jack puts the blue flannel in the sink, so that we can't see it. In the next shot the flannel is hanging out, over the sink's edge.
Continuity: Will squirts Jack with his bottle of water, the water level obviously drops quite a bit, in the bottle. But in the next shots, the bottle is filled right up to the top once again.
Continuity: After Will squirts his bottle of water all over Jack, the amount of water on his shirt and face differs through following shots.
Continuity: When Will is talking to Jack and is folding tea towels, he folds the same tea towel twice between shots.
Love Plus One (season 3, episode 6)
Continuity: The piece of pizza Will is eating in Grace’s office changes appearance during the scene. The topping keeps changing between shots.
Continuity: When Jack says to himself "Me! I'm the fruit that would go with those pants!" his headset wire is in front of him arm, yet in the very next shot it is behind his arm.
Continuity: When Jack reveals to Will that he is too shy to ask out the sales assistant in the Banana Republic, Jack stands by a wooden shelf. Between shots the positions of his hands on the wooden pole keep changing, and which hand is holding it with also differs.
Continuity: When Grace says to Will “What, are you ten?” Will is holding a napkin in his right hand, down by his side, but in the next shot it’s in his left hand and he is wiping his lips with it.
Gypsies, Tramps and Weed (season 3, episode 7)
Continuity: When Will, Grace and Jack are having the birthday dinner in the restaurant, in one shot Will picks up his wine glass and commences to drink, yet in the very next shot the wine glass is down on the table.
Continuity: Some of the people move around and change psoitions between shots in the background, when Lenny has people dealing drugs in Grace's office.
Continuity: When the drug dealers are in Grace's office, one of them knocks over her purse with his foot. In the next shot the purse is standing up again.
Continuity: The position of the red booster seat which the Cher doll sits on changes between shots.
Lows in the Mid-Eighties (1) (season 3, episode 8)
Revealing: At the party it is obvious none of the red plastic cups have drink in them.
Continuity: When Ellen says to Grace "Okay, what do you mean Will and You have never done it?" the red plastic cup she holds swaps hand three times between shots.
Continuity: When Jack invites Pam over to their table to talk, the direction that the label on the champagne bottle faces changes between shots.
Continuity: When the guy at Will's party tells everyone the beer has gone, everybody leaves, and the guy puts his plastic cup on the handle sticking out from the keg. In the next shot the cup has suddenly gone, then reappears again in the next.
Continuity: In the scene in which Will is sitting in Bobbie Adler's bathroom, talking to Jack on the telephone, the shots alternate between the bathroom and Jack's bedroom. At the beginning of their conversation, the digital clock in Jack's bedroom reads 12:07. For the next few shots, each time the audience is taken back to Jack's bedroom, the time on the clock has changed according to the actual time lapsing in the scene. However, in the middle of this sequence, the digital clock suddenly reads 12:24, where it had read 12:09 in the shot immediately preceding. Finally, in the very next shot in Jack's bedroom, the clock has gone back to "real time," with a reading of 12:10. The assumption is that the shot in the middle of this sequence had to be re-done, thus reflecting the time passage on the clock.
Continuity: When Will phones Jack, while he hides in the bathroom, Jack puts a plate of chicken down and answers the telephone. Then through the following conversation they have the position of the fried chicken pieces on the plate differ.
Continuity: When Will stops Grace, as they are about to have sex, they sit up in the bed, and he tells her he thinks they should wait. In the first shot Grace's black strap is falling off of her arm, yet in the next shot it's back up on her shoulder.
Lows in the Mid-Eighties (2) (season 3, episode 9)
Factual error: When Will and Grace bump into each other in the supermarket in 1986, more recent items and brand names can been seen in the fridges and on the shelves during the scene.
Continuity: When Will tells Grace that he is gay, there is a tray of finger foods on the table next to him, as he kneels on the floor. In the second shot, the plate is covered in cling film, but in shots before and after, there was no cling film.
Continuity: When Will tells Grace he's gay, the champagne bottle on the table keeps rotating.
Visible crew/equipment: When Will and Grace walk past the old supermarket through the rain, near the end, the camera trolly is reflected in the shop windows, behind them, as they walk past.
Three's a Crowd, Six is a Freak Show (season 3, episode 10)
Revealing: Grace's boyfriend has six toes but in closeup shots, when he takes off both socks you can clearly see only five toes on each foot, when they are specifically trying to hide one foot.
Continuity: When Grace gets two bottles of beer for her and Mark, she sits down on the sofa with both bottles in her hands, yet in the very next shot one of the bottles has jumped into Mark’s hand.
Continuity: When Grace gets two bottles of beer out for her and Mark she removes the lids on the beer bottles. In the next shot the lids are back on both bottles.
Continuity: When Grace is in the toy shop, and is hiding in the ball pit from Mark, the colour of the balls around her changes.
Coffee & Commitment (season 3, episode 11)
Revealing: Grace has a present for Larry and Joe - a cement handprint decorated with twigs. She made it when she was twelve, and after a couple of decades the twigs in the cement are stick alive with healthy green leaves.
Continuity: When Will is sticking the white bow on the kayak present, the card is on the table. In the next shot it’s in his hand.
Swimming Pools... Movie Stars (season 3, episode 12)
Continuity: When Will and Grace are in Sandra Bernhard’s bathroom, Grace takes a photo and then puts the camera in her arm. Between shots the position of the camera changes.
Continuity: When Karen arrives late to Mason's swim meet, Jack balls her out, and she stirs the Bloody Mary she's holding then throws the celery stalk down into the pool. Yet, two shots later, as Jack rides his scooter out, the long celery stalk is amazingly back in her drink.
Crazy in Love (season 3, episode 13)
Continuity: When Grace is in the batting cages, she gives Will some money to go buy her a corn dog and some nachos. The door to the cage is wide open, but in the very next shot of Will, the door is locked shut.
Continuity: After Jack and Karen ask Grace if she knows any good designers, they run over to the table and grab a pencil each. After they grab their pencils, the position of the pencils in the pots changes.
Continuity: When Grace is looking through the sheets pulled from the magazines which Jack gives her, the paper at the back of the pile she is looking at changes between shots. You can tell because the layout is different.
Brothers, A Love Story (season 3, episode 14)
Continuity: When Karen reads Stan’s will and sees that a third of his money will go to charity, she goes woozy in her chair. In this shot the table is free from loose jewels, yet in the next shot two rings are sitting on the table.
My Uncle the Car (season 3, episode 15)
Continuity: When Will and Grace are talking to the nun about buying the car off of her, the amount of Burberry scarf showing out of Will’s coat is inconsistent with each shot change.
Continuity: When Rosario walks in on Karen and Beverly fighting on the table, the hairpiece Beverly holds swaps hands between shots.
Continuity: When Karen is about to pot the black ball in snooker, Beverly does a fake sneeze to make Karen loose her concentration. Karen’s stick is on the table when she grumbles, but is in her hand in the next shot.
Continuity: As Karen and Beverly fight on the snooker table and pull each others toupees off, the black ball on the snooker table keeps on disappearing, reappearing and moving around the table through the scene.
Continuity: As Karen and Beverly play snooker, and are trying to pot the black ball, the positions of all the little blue cube-stick chalks keep changing. They jump onto the table/onto the tableside between a few shots.
Cheaters (1) (season 3, episode 16)
Continuity: When Grace is telling Will about his dad's affair, she mentions that he grabbed the other woman's ass when she brought him a packet of Goobers during the interval. The thing is, she sees them for the first time during the interval, and we see the conversation that follows. The mistress brings him wine, not Goobers, and he doesn't grab her ass.
Mad Dogs and Average Men (season 3, episode 18)
Revealing: When Grace eats the dog food from the frying pan, we hear the sound of it sizzling, but we see no steam coming from the food.
Continuity: As Jack eats breakfast the position of the food on his plate differs between some shots, and some of the food vanishes too.
Continuity: When Will squeaks the toy newspaper, Pepper barks and Will throws the soft toy onto the couch. It lands right at the end of the sofa. In the following shot it’s in the centre of the sofa.
Poker? I Don't even Like Her (season 3, episode 19)
Continuity: When the gang are playing poker in the opening shots, the position of the chips, cards, beer bottles etc., keep changing - watch then stacks of chips by Rob. They keep changing the most noticeably.
Continuity: When Karen and Jack are sucking helium from balloons in the hospital waiting room, they are using a purple balloon. The balloon disappears for a few shots, then reappears as a pink balloon.
Revealing: Karen clearly doesn’t suck any air from the balloon (that’s why her voice doesn’t go high.)
Continuity: In the spa, Karen puts her ‘Dazzle’ magazine down to talk with Candace. When she sits down again it has moved to the other side of the spa bench.
Continuity: There are two balloons, a blue and a pink one, attached to a vase of flowers in the waiting room. Between shots the pink balloon shrinks half its original size as Jack is talking about a man losing all his limbs.
An Old Fashion Piano Party (season 3, episode 20)
Continuity: After Grace rips all of the pieces of kitchen roll from the holder, in consecutive shots afterward, how far down the sheets of kitchen roll hang from the holder repeatedly changes.
Continuity: When the tray of root beers is spilt over the piano, the amount of drink on the piano differs, the position of the dropped cups on the floor changes, and the page which the piano song book is open on changes.
The Young & the Tactless (season 3, episode 21)
Continuity: When Grace tells Will that it is laundry day and that she has been wearing a peach bridesmaids dress all day, Will says, "Oh, um there's a roll of quarters in my top drawer right beside." When he says that he has a fork on his hand, when the shot changes he says, "My eye cream and my pedicure kit," suddenly the fork has disappeared.
Continuity: When Will and Jack are in the club with Mrs. Walker, in one shot Jack picks up his glass of coke and starts to drink yet in the next shot the glass is on the table and Jack is standing differently.
Continuity: The amount of egg on Will’s plate during the breakfast scene keeps changing.
Continuity: At the club, Will is at the bar and he says “another round,” and in the next shot a beer and a yellow Alco-pop drink is on the bar in front of him. In the next shot they’ve vanished, and the bartender once again places the same drinks down again for him.
Continuity: The position of the serviette which Jack throws down onto the table, during breakfast, when he goes to talk to Karen, changes during shots.
The Third Wheel Gets the Grace (season 4, episode 1)
Continuity: The stack of shoe boxes beside Rosario changes from when she begins to explain that she's been stalling Karen to spend time with her, to when Karen gives Rosie her credit card and makes a mad dash.
Continuity: When Grace is standing in Barney’s holding piles of clothes, as she says “he cracked under the pressure” the positions of all the clothes she’s holding changes between shots.
Past and Presents (season 4, episode 2)
Continuity: After Kevin throws the contract paper down onto Will's desk, the items on Will's desk, and the contract itself, change position a few times in the following shots.
Crouching Father, Hidden Husband (season 4, episode 3)
Continuity: When Grace says "Elliot is here with me," at the school dance, she puts her left hand onto her chest. In the next shot her arm is down by her side.
Continuity: When Will is telling the story to Karen using the small bottles of tequila, scotch, gin and vodka, the bottles sometimes change position between shots without Will touching them.
Prison Blues (season 4, episode 4)
Continuity: When Jack goes into the kitchen to pour a coffee, the amount of paper on the kitchen roll decreases.
Continuity: When Grace is in the bath, the remote control swaps what side of the bath it's lying on, and then completely disappears.
Continuity: When Karen gives her name to the police officer at the prison, the guard behind her opens the jail cell door twice.
Revealing: When we see Grace rolling down the staircase, when she hits the wall, it gives in, like a cheap set wall.
Loose Lips Sink Relationships (season 4, episode 5)
Continuity: After Will looks into the mirror, after he puts it down it changes position between shots.
Continuity: When Jack tells Karen to look away from the hand cream guy, a pair of trousers appears in her hands between shots. In following shots as well, the height of trousers piled on the table increases.
Continuity: When Jack is licking an envelope closed, standing by a large vase of flowers, the flowers change arrangement between shots. The sunflowers vanish and the poppies change place.
Continuity: When Jack is talking to Dorleen, the yellow schedule in his hands disappears between shots.
Continuity: Jack swaps schedules with Dorleen. Jack gets a yellow one, Dorleen gets a white one. Later when Jack takes the schedule from his pocket, to bribe Dorleen to give him friday off, the paper is white.
Bed, Bath, and Beyond (season 4, episode 7)
Continuity: When Karen sits down at the table saying "I get alot of cold water coming at me real fast..." between shots the slide box on the table changes position.
Visible crew/equipment: In Grace's beroom, when Will says "c'mere you" to Jack, Jack runs over, and then Will pushes him out of the door. However, as Jack is running to Will, you can see the boom mike above them.
Continuity: When Jack comes in the apartment, he has a fake mole on, that mysteriously disappears after Will leaves.
Star-Spangled Banter (season 4, episode 8)
Continuity: When Will and Grace are in the kitchen, Grace says "We'll have to agree to disagree" then she slices her pepper in half. In the next shot the pepper is whole again, and she halves it again in the next shot.
Moveable Feast (1) (season 4, episode 9)
Continuity: When the gang are at Grace's mothers, Karen takes her pill whilst holding the bottle. In the next shot the bottle is out of her hand, on the side, and the cup she was holding has swapped hands.
Continuity: After Jack tells Mrs. Adler that Nathan dumped Grace, she walks over to Grace. Grace is holding a plate of finger foods, with sticks in them. The sticks and food change position between shots.
Moveable Feast (2) (season 4, episode 10)
Continuity: When Jack picks the wrong card, when his dad is playing "find the queen", the coat on the end of the bed changes position.
Jingle Balls (season 4, episode 12)
Continuity: When Karen and Jack are in the Barney's window room, the door is open. When they leave, it is closed.
Continuity: At the beginning of the episode, Wills' scarf repeatedly changes from hanging loosely over his shoulders, to wrapped around his neck.
A Chorus Lie (season 4, episode 16)
Continuity: When Matt and Grace are drinking mint tea, when Jack comes into the room to borrow Grace, Grace's mug of tea vanishes from her hand between the shots.
Continuity: When Will runs in and takes a photo of Matt Damon and Grace kissing, to get evidence Matt is straight, when Jack pulls out the film from his camera, two boxes (a black and red one) vanish from the coffee table.
Continuity: When Beverley walks out of his hotel room to talk to Karen, he places a bucket with a champagne bottle in it, on the floor. In the next shot the bottle and white napkin are on the other side of the bucket.
Visible crew/equipment: As the chorus director says he wants to do the song again because "this Owen Person" didn't show up for his callback, there is a whole boom dipping into view.
Someone Old, Someplace New (1) (season 4, episode 17)
Continuity: When Jack is making his film for Karen, as he's interviewing Grace, he holds a cheque book up to his mouth. Between shots the book randomly alternates from being in his right/left hand.
Went to a Garden Potty (season 4, episode 20)
Continuity: When Karen is talking with Norman about donating funds for his advert, and then when Jack enters, between shots during the scene Karen's pearl necklace keeps jumping in and out of her black shirt.
He Shoots, They Snore (season 4, episode 21)
Continuity: When Grace is setting up her design class, she writes "Professor" on the board, and curls the end of the R into a spiral. But in the shot when she says "T.A. - Teachers Assistant" the spiralled end on the R has gone. In the next shot it's back again.
Fagel Attraction (season 4, episode 23)
Continuity: When Will and Gavin are at the gay club, they sit down at the table with their laptops. There is a bowl and a glass candle on the table, which change their position and even disappear in some shots.
Hocus Focus (season 4, episode 24)
Continuity: Before Fannie starts the photo shoot with Will and Grace, she unbuttons the top of Grace's trousers. But later on in the shoot you can see they're done up, then later on they're undone once again.
Continuity: When Jack is stroking the rabbit that he thinks is Karen, the position of the mobile phone on the side next to him changes, and also a glass of drink appears next to him in one shot, but is gone in all others, previous and after.
Continuity: After Fannie rips open Grace's shirt and ties the bottom into a knot, the way the knot is tied and positioned changes during subsequent shots.
A Bunch of White Chicks Sittin' Around Talkin' (season 4, episode 25)
Continuity: When we see Jack dancing at the open auditions, there is a grey sports bag behind him which alternates from propped up against the small black chair to sitting in front of the chair on the floor, many times during the scene.
Continuity: When Karen is talking to the security camera in the cell, before receiving the phone call from Stanley, the pieces of salami strewn all over the bed change and some pieces disappear, most noticeably one piece on the pillow.
Continuity: In the opening scene with Will, Grace, Jack and Karen, as they open the wine and talk about what they would like to accomplish in life, the newspaper disappears from the table during the scene, then reappears in a later shot.
A.I.: Artificial Insemination (1) (season 4, episode 26)
Continuity: When the four are eating dinner and talking, Will says "Well I don't wanna sleep with you either," and in this closeup Karen picks up her glass of wine. In the next shot the wine glass is back on the table and she's now holding her fork.
A.I.: Artificial Insemination (2) (season 4, episode 27)
Continuity: After Grace pushes Will, and he falls back and rolls over the bed, in the next shots the position and amount of rose petals on the bedspread changes, and the position of the pillows differs as well.
All of series 5 (season 5)
Continuity: In the episode "23" when Lorraine, Karen and Will are talking in the entrance to the church, before Stan’s funeral, there is a signing book with a pen laying on it. But in one shot the pen has jumped back into the pen holder. It’s back to laying on the book in the following shots.
Continuity: In the episode "24" when Rosario brings the huge popcorn can in, which has Stan’s ashes in it for them to scatter, she puts it down in front of the table, at about the center of it. In following shots the location of the can has changed, moving more to the left / right, etc.
...And the Horse He Rode in On (season 5, episode 1)
Continuity: When Grace and Leo are speaking at the table in the coffee shop, the muffin on the table keeps changing position, and Grace's hand keep jumping on and off of it between shots. The bites taken from it also differ.
Continuity: While in the coffee shop, Leo writes Grace a prescription. As she is reading the piece of paper, Leo puts the prescription pad back into his shirt pocket. In the next shot the pad is on the table in front of him.
Continuity: When Grace and Leo are speaking at the table in the coffee shop, the brown paper bag laying on the table in between them keeps changing position and also keeps alternating from being open to closed.
Continuity: When Leo helps Grace after she runs into the lamppost, the camera alternates between two angles. Between these different angles, a park bench, beside Leo's white horse, disappears and reappears constantly.
Continuity: When Karen walks into her bedroom, she pulls her bed sheet up to discover Jack underneath. The bed sheet now hangs down over the end of the bed. between following shots the position of the bed sheet keeps changing.
Revealing: At the beginning of the episode, Grace is running through the park, and she unexpectedly runs right into a lamppost. When she hits the lamppost, the lamppost shakes very violently, like a cheap set lamppost.
Bacon & Eggs (season 5, episode 2)
Continuity: When Leo comes into Grace's design workplace, he starts to put pieces of cloth on his shoulder. Between shots, before Grace takes the pieces of cloth off of him, they change position on his shoulder completely.
Continuity: When Jack and Will are outside behind the hedges, stalking Kevin Bacon, Jack hands the binoculars over to Will. Will holds the binoculars with one hand in one shot, but in the next shot he has both hands on them.
Continuity: When Kevin Bacon is talking to Will about the cardboard cutout, Kevin throws the cutout down and it lands flat on the floor. In later shots the cutout is now leaning up against the fireplace. Then, later, it completely vanishes.
The Kid Stays Out of the Picture (season 5, episode 3)
Continuity: Grace walks into her office to see that she has a vase of red roses from Leo. During her conversation with Karen about Leo, and during their kiss, the position of the roses sticking out at the top of the bunch changes.
Continuity: After Will opens his present from Grace, he puts the black "Sharper Image" bag down on the table. In following shots, the position of the bag has changed, it rotates and changes from open to closed, and vice versa.
Continuity: When Will and Grace exchange gifts to each other, Grace unwraps hers. She puts the box and wrapping down on the table. In following shots the face of the box showing has changed and the wrapping has changed position too.
Humongous Growth (season 5, episode 4)
Continuity: After Jack and Karen have locked Will and Grace in the bouncy castle, Grace throws her black purse down into the corner, then her and Will start talking. During their conversation the position of the purse keeps changing.
Continuity: After Will and Grace make Larry drop the birthday cake, there is a black woman standing behind then, an a green shirt. As Will and Grace then start to shout at each other, the woman walks away three times between shots.
Continuity: After Jack and Karen have locked Will and Grace in the bouncy castle, they talks to each other through the netting. Between each shot, Grace's purse constantly moves from on her elbow, to up on her shoulder.
Continuity: When Will and Grace fight over the birthday cake which Larry holds, it results in the cake being dropped. Note the position of the cake after it is dropped to the floor. In a later shot during their conversation, it has changed.
It's the Gay Pumpkin, Charlie Brown (season 5, episode 5)
Visible crew/equipment: When Grace has stopped and is trying to fix her bike, a red car passes her, splashing up mud all over her. As the car passes the camera, the whole crew and equipment is clearly reflected in the side.
Continuity: When Leo comes into the apartment and starts talking to Will and Grace, they're sitting at the table. Grace has a newspaper which she holds over her plate. Between shots the newspaper keeps vanishing then reappearing.
Continuity: When Will and Grace are on the biking trip with Leo, going to pick a pumpkin, during Will and Grace's conversation the scenery and background behind and around them keep alternating and changing between shots.
Continuity: In the scene where Grace is fixing her bike chain, there is black line going across her cheek. The shape and size of the line changes several different times.
Boardroom and a Parked Place (season 5, episode 6)
Continuity: Grace recognizes Karen's limo parked on the street and comments on the red, green, and yellow paint on the bumper where she hit that clown. Actually, the colors on the bumper are yellow, red, and a bright blue.
Continuity: When Will is talking to Mr. Stine in the company toilets, as Stine acts all nervous, Mr. Stine's tie knot changes position a few times during their conversation, and in some shots it is pulled up tight and sometimes more loose.
The Needle and Omelet (season 5, episode 7)
Continuity: When Leo and Will are at the expensive brunch buffet, Grace is telling Leo about getting food from the back tables of the buffet. Between shots the position of the items on the plate which Grace holds changes.
Marry Me a Little (season 5, episode 8)
Continuity: When Will, Grace, Leo, Jack and Karen are out in the park with the picnic, the football which Jack throws boomerangs back. The items on the picnic spread change position a few time, and also after the football smashes them.
Marry Me a Little More (season 5, episode 9)
Continuity: When Jack is trying to prepare his wedding speech, he taps some wine glasses, which smash. He then puts them on the piano. In following shots the wine glasses, spilt wine and broken glass on the piano changes position / (dis)appears.
The Honeymoon's Over (season 5, episode 11)
Continuity: When Will and Grace are talking to Karen outside, as she sits on the bench, about how they'll always be a family, the people walking past them on the street behind keep changing, appears, disappearing etc. between shots.
Continuity: After Will and Jack unwrap their breakfast Jack puts the wrapping that the Smart Start cereal box was wrapped in, on the table. In some shots during the rest of their conversation, the wrapping actually vanishes in some shots.
Continuity: After Will and Grace find Karen asleep on the top of the sofa, Karen sits down on the sofa, and puts her beer bottle on the couch next to her. When Grace comes over with her holiday photos, the bottle has gone.
Continuity: When Will and Jack are having breakfast, in one shot Will pours some milk into his cereal bowl, then puts the milk bottle down on the table, and it doesn't have the lid on it. In the next shot the red lid is now screwed on top.
Continuity: When Karen puts on Tom Jones music on the CD player, she begins to dance. There are headphones on the CD player, with the black wires hanging down in front of the player. In one shot of Karen dancing, the headphones / wire vanishes.
Continuity: After Will and Jack unwrap their breakfast, the pour some of the Smart Start cereal into their bowls, then put the box on the side. Between subsequent shots the box continuously alternates from having it's front / back facing us.
Continuity: When Will and Grace are standing outside Will's apartment, after Grace arrives back from her honeymoon, Grace is holding a handful of photo envelopes. Between shots the way she holds these envelopes changes.
Continuity: After Will and Jack unwrap their breakfast, Jack puts the wrapping that the Smart Start cereal box was wrapped in, on the table. In following shots the wrapping keeps changing position, from spread out, scrunched up, etc.
Fagmalion Part Two: Attack of the Clones (season 5, episode 15)
Continuity: Leo brings Grace a cookie bouquet to her workplace, and sets it down on her desk. In following shots, the position of the cookies changes a couple of times, most noticeably as Karen comes out from hiding behind the screen.
Homojo (season 5, episode 16)
Continuity: When Will and Grace are competing in the 'Game Night,' Will is drawing a pictionary on a big white board for Grace. Between shots, during him drawing it, the picture changes. Notice how the lines and shapes are drawn slightly different.
