The shot changes to show the simulant walking through the doorway, yet when the camera cuts back to Lister, the Cat and Kochanski, the piece of material is still in the corner of the screen meaning the simulant is still stood there. Revealing mistake: When the simulant hits Able over the head with the steel bar, you can clearly see it bend. He hits him a second time a few moments later and it is straight again. (00:14:45)
Answer: Presumably he does, but it's never been used in any material related to the show. He is the only Cat left (as shown in Series 1), so even if he had once had a name, nobody would know it.
