Comments made in brackets are corrections from other visitors. As such, any aggressive/abusive corrections (and I get quite a few) written as if they're comments I've made myself will be ignored. To submit your own corrections for mistakes, just click the edit icon under an entry, then choose "correct entry". Some entries have "duplicated entry" after them - these are entries which were already listed on the main page, but were submitted again. I occasionally leave these online for a while, just in case they were moved in error, so don't worry about pointing them out to me.

The Initiative (series 4)

Entry In the scene where they look through the window into the room with thermal cameras, there is a big mistake: Thermal cameras can't see through windows. [This just isn't true. Depending on the type of glass, windows may or may not absorb or deflect IR radiation (heat). Industrial and military IR scopes/goggles can also be tuned to enough sensitivity to nonetheless provide an image. Moreover, advanced scopes can combine signals from multiple sensors at differing sensitivities in order to allow a more complete image.]

Wild At Heart (series 4)

Entry Towards the end when Willow is in the science lab casting her spell you can see the wires that are used to levitate the vials. They are especially noticable after the vials drop and you can see them dangling there. [Having watched this scene through at normal speed and in slo-mo, no wires are visible.]

Fear, Itself (series 4)

Entry The little demon is standing right next to the hole in the floor where Buffy ripped up the floorboards - so wouldn't her foot have gone through the board when she stamped hard enough to squash it? [How hard do you have to stomp to kill a bug? Or a mouse? Normal body weight easily does the trick.]

The Harsh Light Of Day (series 4)

Entry When Spike grabs the ring of Amara from Harmony he's still wearing the huge necklace he had thought was the gem, when he turns around to leave the necklace has disappeared. [Spike grabbs Harmony's arm to look at the ring (before taking it), he puts a cross to her head to see if it works and when putting down the cross he also takes off the necklace.]
Entry When Spike and Harmony are near to the area of the Gem of Amara, Spike tells Harmony that she can't go out anywhere. Harmony is wearing a pink corset top, but when they reach the actual area of the gem, the top changes to a brighter pink halter neck. This happens in a short space of time, so she wouldn't have had time to change. [She would have had time to change. There is a whole sequence in between the two scenes with Harmony changing clothes that shows Buffy at various points during the day (she checks the answering machine several times). Several hours have probably passed between the two times we see Harmony. It could even be the next day.]

The Freshman (series 4)

Entry Several times throughout the show, we have seen that Angel - a vampire - cannot enter Buffy (and Willow's) dorm room on the college campus, due to the invites only rule for vampires. So how did Sunday's vampires get in to steal all of Buffy's things? [There are only two other times that we see vampires enter dorm rooms. Once was Spike (The Initiative), the other time was Angel (The Yoko Factor). Neither time is it made clear that the vampires CAN'T enter the room without an invite, but likely just wait for the invite out of habit. so it's entirely possible, since it's seen that school buildings are considered public, that vampires really don't need an invite to enter the rooms at all.]
Entry On Buffy's first day of school, both her folders and the school banners use the acronym UCD, though the school is actually University of California Sunnydale. The crew used the fliers from UC Davis. [The folders have a sun between the UC and the D. The folders then read UC(sun)D for UC Sunnydale.]
Entry The vampires shouldn't be able to get into Eddie's room without his permission. Or does that rule change when the person who owns the property has died? [Once the owner is dead, the rule no longer applies. Not that it entirely matters in this particular case - dorm rooms, like hotel rooms, are not deemed to be 'owned' by the occupiers, they're considered to be public spaces. As such, the vampires can enter freely.]
Entry At the end of the episode, when Buffy is fighting the vampires, she grabs a tennis racket, and just before she hits the vampire with it, the head of the racket flies off to the right of the screen and she continues to swing round and hit the vampire, running at her on the left of the screen, with the racket (minus the head). [That's not a mistake. All this proves is that even in the Buffyverse, tennis rackets can be poorly made.]

Intervention (series 5)

Entry In the scene where Glory first has Spike, she says she wants to have a look at him and he tells her to sod off. She then punches him and he goes flying across the room. As soon as he starts to fly backwards you can see that his arms go flailing outwards, yet in the scene right before and right after, his hands are clealy tied behind his back so they would not be able to move about as they do. [If you watch Spike just before Glory punches him and he goes flying across the room, he is squirming around the ropes around his wrists trying to loosen them. He them purposfully baits Glory by making her angry enough to hit him. The force of the blow knocks him across the room, freeing his hands in the process which is what he had planned to happen.]

I Was Made To Love You (series 5)

Entry In season 4, 'I was Made to Love You' It's not clear how Spike knew exactly where to find the robot-creator Warren, also, how did Spike get into the house without an invitiation from Warren? [The second half of this entry is directly contradicted by the text of the episode: Spike explains that Warren's mother let him in. The first half is not an error, just speculation.]
Entry In "I Was Made To Love You" Spike mentions that Warren's mother invited him in, but we see it's daylight outside. Would she really have invited a man huddled under a blanket and smouldering slightly into her home just like that? [Windows behind both Spike and Warren show night-time with a strong moon.]
Entry In "I Was Made To Love You" Warren has just finished packing his bags and is about to run out the door when Buffy arrives. When Spike shows up at his house later on he's still packing his bags. [The first time, Warren was trying to flee Sunnydale and escape from April. Buffy forces him to confront April sometime in the middle or late afternoon, and April eventually runs out of power in front of him so he knows she's no longer a threat. Warren returns home and deliberates for a few hours until after sundown on whether he should stay in Sunnydale, follow Katrina, or go someplace new. He finally makes his decision to leave and is packing for it when Spike interrupts him.]
Entry In "I was made to love you", there's no way Spike could have known it was Warren who was into making robot girls. Only the Scoobies had figured it out, and the only time he talks to them in this episode they throw him out of the Magic Shop without mentioning Warren. Even though Spike knew that there was a guy called Warren out there creating robot girls, it took all of Willow's computer savvy and a little bit of luck for Buffy to find him. How would Spike, working only off the first name of a perfectly normal teenager who hadn't been in town in months, track him down? [In other episodes, the Scoobies go to Spike to get information when other informants are tapped out, meaning that he has access to sources they don't. Spike proves to have connections to demon bars, gamblers, etc. Because finding Warren was desperately important to him (to make the BuffyBot), he went to some mystical source that the Scoobies didn't know about. Demons, witches, and sorcerers do exist in Sunnydale, some of whom are probably capable of divining information.]

Crush (series 5)

Entry In season five's "Crush" episode, during the last scene with Spike and Buffy, the back of Spike's head is noticibly exposed to sunlight. [The last scene of Crush takes place at night. The light on Spike's head is Buffy's porch light reflecting on his peroxide.]
Entry In the episode 'Crush', after Buffy punches Spike across the room, he follows her home. He says to her, "like it or not, I'm in your life, you can't just shut me out". Then the barrier stops him from entering, but earlier on in the episode, Spike is in Buffy's kitchen, talking to Joyce and Dawn. [This is not a mistake. Willow did the spell which can un-invite vampires from the house, thus proving that Buffy can 'shut Spike out'.]

Fool For Love (series 5)

Entry In 'Fool for love', Spike has a flash back to the Boxer Rebellion (when he killed the Chinese slayer)in 1900. It showed that Angel was still a souless vampire. But in an earlier episode of Buffy (in series 2) Angel got his soul back in 1880's. [Angel got his soul back in 1898, not in 1880's. As for the Boxer Rebellion, Angel was merely keeping up appearances. He wasn't evil any more.]
Entry During his fight with the slayer during the Boxer Rebellion, Spike is cut on his left eyebrow. This was done to give a reason for James Marsters' real scar, but vampires can regenerate. Later in the season, Spike is tortured and beaten by Glory without a scar to show for it after he healed. For that scar to be there, Spike would have to be cut before he was turned into a vampire. [Who's to say the sword hasn't been blessed or had something done to it so that it can inflict more damage to supernatural creatures than a ordinary blade would. Think of water, if you just throw a cup of water over a vampire it'll just get wet, however if the water is blessed & turned into holy water it can hurt a vampire & in large quantities kill it.]
Entry William's crush in this episode, Cecily, is played by Kali Rocha. She will return in seasons six and seven as Halfrek, Anya's vengeance demon friend. [Cecily becomes Halfrek the vengence demon, hence the scene in season 6's "Older and Far Away" when Halfrek calls Spike William and he also seems shocked to see her.]

Family (series 5)

Entry When Ben is being stalked by the demon while he's at his locker, he's wearing his medical clothing. Yet, moments later, when Glory grabs the demon from behind, she's back to her usual red dress and make up. If Ben and Glory were truly the same being in that moment, they would be wearing the same clothes, too. [In "Tough Love," Glory shows that she can change her clothes in an instant when her dress gets damaged in the fight with Willow and she replaces it. Same goes for makeup.]
