The One With Phoebe's Dad - S2-E9

Corrected entry: After Ross breaks the radiator in the women's apartment, it gets so hot in there for their Christmas party that all the attendees strip down, some to their underwear. However, when Rachel answers the door to let a couple guests in, her nipples are erect, which would indicate the temperature inside is cold. (00:15:16)

Phaneron

Correction: As most women - or those who spend time around women - could tell you, there's more than one reason a woman's nipples might be erect.

Correction: When Ross and Joey are standing in the bathroom stalls looking into Chandler's stall, since Joey is going commando Chandler offers Ross $50 for his underpants just as the shocked man walks in on them. Even though Ross initially said no to giving Chandler his underpants, we do not hear Ross decline this very generous offer. So in the next shot it's been a little while, and not only do we see that shocked man already seated continuing his meal, we can safely presume the striped boxers that Chandler's wearing actually belong to Ross, who made an easy $50 to help Chandler out.

Super Grover

Correction: When Joey and Chandler order the pizza, Rachel and Monica are both out, but the pizza arrives after Monica comes home with Richard. The door is knocked and Monica curses, realising it is a Joey and Chandler move.

The One With the Breast Milk - S2-E2

Corrected entry: In the scene where Chandler pours Joey a glass of orange juice, even though there are sounds of something being poured, if you observe carefully, you can see that there is nothing in the glass - when the juice is supposedly being poured, and even when Joey is drinking the juice. (00:14:50)

Zyen Hoo

Correction: You can see the juice being poured in the glass. You can see it dribbling. Also when Joey is holding the glass on the counter you can see the liquid slosh around when he moves his hand.

Correction: There is a microwave in Monica's apartment. In Season 1 TOW with all the poker, you can see her warming up some food in the microwave when they were playing poker with the girls for the first time. Also, in the same episode itself i.e. Season 2 episode 2, you can see the microwave beside the fridge in the scene where Monica is thanking Rachel for her jacket after coming back from lunch. The microwave is visible in many scenes throughout the episode.

Correction: Rachel actually says "my sister Jill," so this is not a mistake.

The One With Phoebe's Dad - S2-E9

Corrected entry: When Phoebe is talking with her dad in Central Perk and he learns that her mom committed suicide years ago, he asks, "What about the girls?" He doesn't say anything, nor does Phoebe, about Frank, Jr., his son.

Correction: That's because Frank Jr. is his son with a different woman, who's still alive. Frank Jr. is Phoebe's half brother, remember. He's not worried about his son, only the girls, because they were left alone.

The One With Five Steaks and an Eggplant - S2-E5

Corrected entry: When the whole group is eating dinner, Ross miscalculates what everyone owes. At first, he states "Everyone owes 28 bucks." He assumes all six people will chip in, so he was starting from a total of $168. Ross then decides, "Monica shouldn't have to pay" (since it's her birthday), so he instead divides the total by five to get each person's individual amount owed. He can be heard saying, "So... five of us is... $33.50 a piece." $33.50 is incorrect. He should have arrived at a figure of $33.60, ten cents higher per person, because $168 divided by 5 is $33.60. (00:10:05)

Correction: So Ross rounded to the nearest half-dollar. That's not a mistake.

Correction: The understanding is misconstrued. Monica knew that Phoebe had slept with him (ergo The One with George Stephanopoulos); the surprise comes from the fact that she had slept with him only one hour following their breakup. This is not a continuity mistake but a misunderstanding of meaning.

Correction: When Heckles turns away from Monica's doorway he steps up onto the upper landing, not the stairs. The stairwell is at the end of the hallway (on this upper landing) where Heckles is heading, and we don't see him reach the stairs. Other episodes such as S8xE7 "The One With The Stain" and S10xE8 "The One With The Late Thanksgiving" show the hallway.

Super Grover

Correction: Actually, in some shots you can clearly see that the inside of the earrings are yellow and the outside is red so it is not a mistake.

Lightrock

The One With Barry & Mindy's Wedding - S2-E24

Corrected entry: In this episode, when Ross and Rachel are at the wedding, there's a couple, "Mr. and Mrs. Weinberg" that approaches and tells Rachel that he's happy to see her and he hardly expected to see so much (because in that episode Rachel walks down the aisle with her butt showing). The lady is actually another extra from another episode, the one where Chandler quits. It's the same lady who goes and tells Chandler about their boss wanting to talk to him.

AndreinaDepp

Correction: Extras are often used in multiple episodes.

The One After the Superbowl, part 1 - S2-E12

Corrected entry: At the episode's end, the kids from the library song hour all somehow manage to show up as a group to her coffee shop. But their parents are nowhere to be seen. So, what then - did upwards of a dozen kids, less than 10 years old, all independently call each other, when they only know each other through story hour, and arrange to go to the coffee shop together? What did they do with their parents? Or did they supposedly all bolt from the story hour together, without a single parent following? (00:21:00)

Correction: Some of them are sitting on grown-up's laps as Phoebe sings so some parents probably came with them. The parents who didn't object to the songs could have arranged for some of the children to go together.

littlestar

Correction: Of course they are dry. If you look closer, you can see they are all holding umbrellas.

Correction: It may be a long shot but it could happen. Not a mistake.

Ssiscool

Correction: You can wear a bra and breastfeed. Many nursing bras even cover almost the entire breast while allowing a very small opening for latching.

CocoCami

Correction: Character decision, not a writing/continuity error.

CocoCami

Correction: Rachel does lock the bottom lock, she does it with her foot.

Ssiscool

The One With the List - S2-E8

Corrected entry: When Ross shows Rachel Julie's 'Con' list, he appears to turn over the paper and show Rachel the other side - but his deskjet-type printer would not print on both sides without him having reinserted the paper, which he doesn't.

Correction: Ross didn't turn the paper over. He just points at the side of the page with Julie's con list. The paper never leaves Rachel's hand.

Correction: This was done intentionally to make fun of the forced appearance in soap operas.

The One With Ross's Teeth - S6-E8

Monica: What happened to your teeth?
Ross: I whitened them.
Chandler: Really?
Ross: Yeah, what... What do you think?
Monica: Well, uh, I think I shouldn't look directly at them.
Ross: Come on, seriously.
Monica: Ross, they're really, really, really white!
Chandler: Yeah, what was wrong with your old... Human teeth?
Ross: Well, I did leave the gel on a little longer than it said to.
Monica: How much longer?
Ross: Uh, uh... A day.
Monica: Ross, you know that tonight is your date with Hillary?
Ross: I know! That's why I did it! Come on, are they really that bad?
Chandler: No. No, no, no, you'll be fine. Hilary's blind, right?
Monica: She will be after tonight.

The One With The Jellyfish - S4-E1

Question: When Ross and Rachel are fighting, Chandler hides behind the door and bursts out saying, "I knew it!" When Rachel says, "It's not that common, it doesn't happen to every guy, and it is a big deal!" is this just a Chandler moment or is there another joke I have missed?

Answer: The statements that she's contradicting (that it is common, it happens to every guy, and it's not a big deal), are the things that a woman commonly says to a man who is suffering from erectile difficulty, typically to assuage his bruised ego. However, most men do not believe that these statements are true, as evidenced by Chandler's outburst. He's so caught up in the proof that women are lying about it that he gives himself away.
