Friends

Correction: If you look real carefully [and well, try slow-motion it] when Allan arrives he indeed has an umbrella on his right hand, the camera shot just shows a bit of it, but you can actually see it there, so him carrying an umbrella when leaving is not a mistake, because he took it in with him when he arrived.

Correction: This entry corrects itself: Joey is shown living there BY Thanksgiving.... so he moved in during the prior summer.

MovieFan612

Correction: There is no-one else there, except Ross in the background. What you see is maybe his shirt, but nothing else.

Anastasios Anastasatos

Correction: Actually, in some shots you can clearly see that the inside of the earrings are yellow and the outside is red so it is not a mistake.

Lightrock

Correction: People generally have two grandmothers. Just because her father ran off, doesn't mean that his mother abandoned her grandchildren so readily.

Jeff Swanson

Correction: Conjecture. Joey is a "dim bulb" and he is reacting to the situation. There is no indication that Matt LeBlanc would need cheatsheets to remember his lines.

MovieFan612

Correction: How on earth is that a mistake?? My CD collection changed innumerable times over the course of 10 years.

MovieFan612

Correction: Just because you don't hear a door close doesn't mean it didn't. They were playing a game and cheering and carrying on so it is perfectly conceivable that people could leave without being noticed.

MovieFan612

Plus they probably shut the door very quietly so no one would notice them leaving.

Show generally

Corrected entry: In episode 8.15, Phoebe accepts saltwater taffy treats from Ross saying she has never eaten them before when in episode 2.23, she mentioned that her then boyfriend, Ryan, a guy who is in the navy, gave her saltwater taffy for playing her guitar because he didn't have any change.

macaroon

Correction: That doesn't mean she ate it. I wouldn't eat a piece of candy some stranger put in my bag.

White Lock

The One With All The Resolutions - S5-E11

Corrected entry: When Phoebe and Joey are arguing about Phoebe's guitar teaching lessons, Monica comes in between them and gets her picture taken with them. Who takes the picture? Monica, Joey and Phoebe are all in the picture, Ross is on his date, Rachel is out (she comes in just after the picture is taken) and Chandler isn't there either (he is on the phone to Monica when Rachel picks up the phone). So who did it? There is no furniture there for Monica to have put it high enough to get them all in if she'd set the timer, either.

Correction: Monica's apartment has an area of work top near the door and it also has a table the the right as you can see when rachel comes in singing bad bad leroy brown, she must set a timer set it up on the work top or table and then go and pose for the photo, there fore it wouldn't need anyone to take it.

The One Where Nana Dies Twice - S1-E8

Corrected entry: Rachel says to Chandler that she thought he was gay when she first met him, but then later he spent "Phoebe's entire birthday party staring at her breasts". In a later season, we find out that they kissed when Chandler was in college and Rachel in high school. Also. Phoebe has not had a birthday since Rachel and she met for the first time.

Correction: I used to work with an openly gay man who slept with more women in high school and college than I, or most of my friends, did. Chandler and Rachel kissing is in no way an indication of whether he was gay or not.

rswarrior

Correction: He is laughing because the situation is awkward - it's not a mistake.

Correction: Between the pilot and this episode, several months or even years have passed in the "Friends" universe. There has been plenty of time for Rachel to hear about Kip from Chandler or Ross.

Twotall

The One With The Engagement Picture - S7-E5

Corrected entry: During the scene where Rachel gets Tag's scarf out of his backpack and smells it, a coworker walks up. Rachel puts on the backpack to disguise what she was doing. The camera cuts away a few times and the final time she does not have the backpack on anymore.

wHw

Correction: If you watch carefully you see it all the time. Since she is wearing a black coat it's sometimes difficult to see, but the backpack is there and in the last scene she takes it off.

Anastasios Anastasatos

The One With Barry & Mindy's Wedding - S2-E24

Corrected entry: In this episode, when Ross and Rachel are at the wedding, there's a couple, "Mr. and Mrs. Weinberg" that approaches and tells Rachel that he's happy to see her and he hardly expected to see so much (because in that episode Rachel walks down the aisle with her butt showing). The lady is actually another extra from another episode, the one where Chandler quits. It's the same lady who goes and tells Chandler about their boss wanting to talk to him.

AndreinaDepp

Correction: Extras are often used in multiple episodes.

The One After the Superbowl, part 1 - S2-E12

Corrected entry: At the episode's end, the kids from the library song hour all somehow manage to show up as a group to her coffee shop. But their parents are nowhere to be seen. So, what then - did upwards of a dozen kids, less than 10 years old, all independently call each other, when they only know each other through story hour, and arrange to go to the coffee shop together? What did they do with their parents? Or did they supposedly all bolt from the story hour together, without a single parent following? (00:21:00)

Correction: Some of them are sitting on grown-up's laps as Phoebe sings so some parents probably came with them. The parents who didn't object to the songs could have arranged for some of the children to go together.

littlestar

The One With The Embryos - S4-E12

Corrected entry: For the game, there are 16 questions - 8 for each gender. When Ross says they have a tie, there are about 5 questions left on the board. Ross then goes to the Lightning Round and completely forgets about the other 5 questions. (00:07:30)

Brad

Correction: Ross says from the start that each team will answer ten questions. Ross has just made up more, in case one category is more popular than the others.

Correction: At one point they get a new table, and this is where it changes colour.

Ssiscool

Correction: Of course they are dry. If you look closer, you can see they are all holding umbrellas.

The One With The Hypnosis Tape - S3-E18

Corrected entry: When Monica shows Chandler the check from Pete, Chandler says, "Pete Becker, Pete," and he grabs a magazine from his briefcase, but before this Chandler told the girls that he hasn't been able to unlock the briefcase and he just carries it around, so how would Chandler have gotten it out?

Correction: Chandler pulls the magazine from a pocket on the side of the briefcase.

The One With Chandler In A Box - S4-E8

Monica: Fine, judge all you want to, but [to Ross.] married a lesbian, [to Rachel.] left a man at the altar, [to Phoebe.] fell in love with a gay ice dancer, [to Joey.] threw a girl's wooden leg in a fire, [to Chandler.] LIVE IN A BOX!

Trivia: The Magna-doodle on the door in the boys apartment has a different picture on it every episode. There is usually some tenuous connection between the picture and the plot of the episode.

The One With The Dirty Girl - S4-E6

Question: When Joey asks why he can't give Kathy the pen, Chandler says, "Because she's not eleven. And it's not the seventh night of Chanukah." What is Chandler talking about when he says, "It's not the seventh night of Chanukah?"

Answer: Usually by the seventh night of Hanukkah you don't know what to get the other person, and you will probably resort to getting the other person something insignificant. Chandler is basically saying that the pen is a stupid gift.

Answer: Chanukah is a Jewish celebration that occurs around the same time as the Christian Christmas. The celebration lasts for eight days and it is customary to give a small gift on each of the eight days. There is no special gift required and the line about it being "the seventh night" of Chanukah is just Chandler's sarcasm.
